  • This paper presents a bulk insertion technique for efficiently inserting data items. Traditional moving object database focused on efficient query processing that happens mainly after index building. Traditional index structures rarely considered disk I/O overhead for index rebuilding by inserting data items. This paper, to solve this problem, describes a new bulk insertion technique which efficiently induces the current positions of moving objects and reduces update cost greatly. This technique uses buffering technique for bulk insertion in spatial index structures such as R-tree. To analyze split or merge node, we add a secondary index for information management on leaf node of primary index. And operations are classified to reduce unnecessary insertion and deletion. This technique decides processing order of moving objects, which minimize split and merge cost as a result of update operations. Experimental results show that this technique reduces insertion cost as compared with existing insertion techniques.

  • This paper describes a simple routing control system. We propose achieving high-speed data transmission without modifying the data frame configuration. To add a routing control signal, called the "labeling signal" in this paper, to the data frame, we use a frequency modulation technique on the transmitted frame. This means you need not change the data frame when you transmit additional signals. Using a prototype system comprising a field-programmable gate array and discrete elements, we investigate the system performance and devise a method to achieve high resolution. A three-channel routing control for a 10 Gb/s data frame was achieved, which confirms the advantages of the proposed system.

  • Using object relationship table, this study proposes an efficient indexing technique for accessing both aggregation and inheritance hierarchies in object- oriented databases. This indexing technique uses the information on the aggregation and inheritance relationship between classes and the information on referencing instances as meta data. As a result, the technique makes it possible to effectively evaluates various queries navigating between tables. The study compares the proposed technique with the existing indexing techniques and discusses its useful- ness. It also provides the result of simulating its performance in terms of storage and retrieval cost.

  • The basic research of context aware in ubiquitous environment is an internet technique and XML. The XML data of continuous stream type are popular in network application through the internet. And also there are researches related to query processing for streaming XML data. As a basic research to efficiently query, we propose not only a labeled ordered tree model representing the XML but also a mining method to extract frequent structures from streaming XML data. That is, XML data to continuously be input are modeled by a stream tree which is called by XFP_tree and we exactly extract the frequent structures from the XFP_tree of current window to mine recent data. The proposed method can be applied to the basis of the query processing and index method for XML stream data.

  • Research on object detection algorithms using 2D data has already progressed to the level of commercialization and is being applied to various manufacturing industries. Object detection technology using 2D data has an effective advantage, there are technical limitations to accurate data generation and analysis. Since 2D data is two-axis data without a sense of depth, ambiguity arises when approached from a practical point of view. Advanced countries such as the United States are leading 3D data collection and research using 3D laser scanners. Existing processing and detection algorithms such as ICP and RANSAC show high accuracy, but are used as a processing speed problem in the processing of large-scale point cloud data. In this study, PointNet a representative technique for detecting objects using widely used 3D point cloud data is analyzed and described. And RandLA-Net, which overcomes the limitations of PointNet's performance and object prediction accuracy, is described a review of detection technology using point cloud data was conducted.

  • A methodology is developed and many used to evaluate the response sensitivity of the thermal systems to variations in their design parameters. Technique for computing the sensitivity of temperature distributions to changes in processing parameters needed for deciding the more effective laser input parameters for laser surface hardening treatment are considered. In this study, a state equation governing the heat flow in laser surface treatment is analyzed using a three-dimensional finite element method and sensitivity data of the processing parameter obtained using a direct differentiation method applied for sensitivity analysis. The interesting processing parameter is taken as the laser scan velocity and characteristic beam radius( $r_{b}$) of the sensitivity of the temperature T versus v and $r_{b}$ is analyzed. And these sensitivity results obtained in another parameters are fixed condition. To verifying the numerical analysis results, hardened layer dimensions (width and depth) of the numerical analysis compared with the results of an experimental data.ata.

  • Seismic exploration is divided by reflection and refraction method greatly, and reflection method can analyze complicated underground structure in the basis high resolution image, and refraction method can grasp the velocity structure of underground accurately. This thesis confirmed application of mixed exploration techniques using advantages of reflection and refraction. Reflection data processing applied conventional technique, and inversion of refraction data applied travel time tomographic technique that using SIRT method. Also, could establish initial information in model variable and improved the result of inversion by restricting model parameter value and dimension of area. Confirmed efficient fact in sequence and velocity structure grasping by utilizing accurate initial velocity model made out on the basis of marine reflection data, and mixed exploration technique using reflection and refraction have propriety that can trust in field application.

  • Data is increasing explosively with the spread of networks and mobile devices and there are problems in effectively processing the rapidly increasing data using existing recommendation techniques. Therefore, researches are being conducted on how to solve the scalability problem of the collaborative filtering technique. In this paper applies MapReduce, which is a distributed parallel process framework, to the collaborative filtering technique to reduce the scalability problem and heighten accuracy. The proposed technique applies MapReduce and the index technique to a user-based collaborative filtering technique and as a method which improves neighbor numbers which are used in similarity calculations and neighbor suitability, scalability and accuracy improvement effects can be expected.

  • The emerging notion of data stream has brought many new challenges to the research communities as a consequence of its conceptual difference with conventional concepts of just data. One typical example is data stream processing in sensor networks. The range of data processing considerations in a sensor network is very wide, from physical resource restrictions such as bandwidth, energy, and memory to the peculiarities of query processing including continuous and specific types of queries. In this paper, as one of the physical constraints in data stream processing, we consider the problem of limited memory and propose a new scheme for data stream reduction based on the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) technique. PCA can transform a number of (possibly) correlated variables into a (smaller) number of uncorrelated variables. We adapt PCA for the data stream of a sensor network assuming the cooperation of a query engine (or application) with a network base station. Our method exploits the spatio-temporal correlation among multiple measurements from different sensors. Finally, we present a new framework for data processing and describe a number of experiments under this framework. We compare our scheme with the wavelet transform and observe the effect of time stamps on the compression ratio. We report on some of the results.

  • MMS(Mobile Mapping System) generates a efficient image data for mapping and facility management. However, this image data of MMS has many difficulties in a practical use because of huge data volume. Therefore the important information likes road sign post must be extracted from huge MMS image data. In Korea, there is the HMS(Highway Management System) to manage a national road that acquire the line and condition of road from the MMS images. In the HMS each road sign information is manually inputted by the keyboard from moving MMS. This manually passive input way generate the error like inaccurate position, mistaking input in this research we developed the automatic road sign identifying technique using the image processing and the direct geo-referencing by GPS/INS data. This development brings not only good flexibility for field operations, also efficient data processing in HMS.
