The purpose of this study, based on a domestic sample of businesses using EDI systems, is to identify success factors, which affect the implementation of EDI system by Korean business entities. This paper also intends to provide useful guidelines for the establishment and management of EDI systems. This paper, first, develops a conceptual framework based on pervious research to identify factors which affect successful implementation of EDI system. Second, it integrates the constructs from previous research studies into a single survey instrument. Third, it presents the findings regarding the degree to which each factor influences the successful implementation of EDI system. It's revealed in the study that such factors as EDI vendor support, EDI education and training, participation by transactional partners, the size of organization, and the level of decentralization among organizational and environmental characteristics influence successful implementation of EDI systems in Korean business environment.

This study investigates a special class of Inter-Organizational Systems, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. The major objective of this research is to identify the factors that facilitate or inhibit the adoption of an EDI system. A research model is developed to investigate the research questions identified. The adoption of EDI systems is assumed to be affected by four contextual factors: 1. general characteristics of the industry in which a firm operates, 2. EDI-related industry characteristics, 3. general characteristics of the firm, and 4. information technology (IT) related firm characteristics. The findings of this study provide strong supporting evidence that most of the variables proposed and tested in the study are important factors affecting the adoption of EDI systems.

지능형 교통시스템(ITS: Intelligent Transport Systems)의 부체계인 첨단화물운송시스템(CVOs: Commercial Vehicle Operations)은 교통혼잡 완화와 물류비 목적으로 종합물류정보전산망 사업에서도 추진되어 왔다. ITS 기본계획에서 정의한 화물 및 화물차량관리시스템과 위험물 차량관리시스템의 세부서비스는 '97년말 종합물류정보전산망 상세설계와 첨단화물운송시스템 기본설계 과정에서 새롭게 정립, 제시되었다. 본 고에서는 첨단화물운송시스템의 서비스와 소요기술 개발현황을 기존의 지능형 교통시스템과 종합물류정보망의 추진계획, 업계의 관련자료를 바탕으로 비교적 상세하게 검토하고, 현재까지 공공과 민간에서 개발, 적용되고 있는 시범서비스 차원의 첨단화물운송시스템의 소요기술 적용사례와 효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 고에서 첨단화물운송시스템의 적용사례로서 해양수산부를 중심으로 현재 구축 운영중인 컨테이너터미널 전자문서교환(EDI: Electronic Data Interchange) 및 GATE 자동화시스템과 '97년 7월부터 본격 가동에 들어간 현대물류 택배종합전산시스템(HYDEX)의 정보서비스와 관련한 요소기술과 함께 그 효과를 살펴보고, '96년 12월부터 시범서비스를 제공중인 한국통신의 화물운송정보시스템의 적용효과를 분석하였다.

본 논문은 데이터 캐시를 효과적으로 사용하기 위하여 개발된 원시 프로그램의 루프 변환체제에 대하여 논하고 있다. DIUS로 명명된 이 체계는 외부 루프 펼침을 중심으로 루프 분산, 교환이 선행되고 , 마직막에 스칼라화가 적용되는 변환체계이다. 루프 교환은 회전 공간이 루프 단위로 변형되어 전반적으로 캐시 재사용 기회를 높이지만 일부 배열 참조에 대해서는 오히려 재사용 기회를 감소시킨다. 본 연구에서는 이 문제를 외부 루프 펼침으로 해결하였다. 외부 루프 펼침과 루프 교환을 루프 몸체의 문장들에 선별적으로 적용하기 위하여 루프 분산을 도입하였다. 외부 루프 펼침을 적용하면 배열 참조를 스칼라 참조로 변환하는 스칼라화의 효과가 증대되어 레지스터 사용의 효율성이 높아진다. SPEC CFP95 벤치마크에 대하여 DIUS를 적용한 결과 기하학적 평균으로 속도 향상 1.10을 얻었으며, 특정 프로그램들은 모두 캐시 미스수가 줄어들었음을 확인하였다. 이와 같은 성능향상은사용된 루프 변환기법들이 갖는 캐시와 레지스터의 효율적인 사용에 기인한다.

전통 EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) 문서는 VAN(Value Added Network) 전용망을 통하여 EDI 서비스를 하였다. 하지만, 이것은 실시간(real-time)으로 문서를 처리하는 방식보다 주로 배치(batch)방식으로 한꺼번에 문서를 처리하였으며 전용 소프트웨 어를 사용함으로써 새로운 문서를 처리할때마다 새 문서에 대한 정보를 등록하고 소프트웨어를 다시 설치 해야하는 불편함도 있었다. 기존의 전통 EDI 문서는 VAN을 통하여 처리하는 방식이었으나 현재는 인터넷에서 EDI 문서를 볼 수 있도록 하기 위해 XML(extensible Markup Language)을 이용하고 있다. 인터넷기반의 웹 브라우저 상에서 볼 수 있는 XML/EDI 구현에 힘입어 여러 문서로 분리되어진 EDI 문서를 XLink의 개념을 이용하여 문서의 삽입, 삭제 기능과 이러한 문서를 통합하여 하나의 문서로 데이터베이스에 저장할 수 있는 방법에 관하여 연구하고자 한다.

네트워크를 기반으로 한 인터넷의 급속한 발전은 개인간의 관계뿐만 아니라, 기업간의 업무 내역에 있어서도 많은 영향을 주었으며, 기존 기업 간 문서 교환 시스템의 표준으로 활용되어 오던 독자적인 VAN망을 이용한 전통적 방식의 EDI(Electronic Data Interchange) 역시 많은 변화를 가져 왔다. 전통적 방식의 EDI가 기업 간 거래 수행을 할 수 있도록 '표준 포맷'으로 된 기업 거래 문서를 컴퓨터로 상호 통신한다는 EDI의 기본적인 개념에 충실하며 정확한 데이터 전송 및 보안이 가능한 장점에도 불구하고, 초기 구축비용 과다와 폐쇄적인 구조로 인하여 시스템 확장에 어려움이 있으며, 또한 유지 보수 및 운영에도 지속적인 추가 비용이 소요되는 단점을 함께 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 전통적 방식의 EDI 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 컨테이너터미널과 선사간의 EDI를 이용한 메시지 송 수신 업무를 지난 2001년 8월 정부에서 기업 간 전자 거래를 위한 데이터 교환 모델로서 권고한 ebXML 프레임워크를 이용하여 ebXML기반 EDI시스템으로 구현하였다.

This paper focuses on presenting modeling considerations and insight into the performance of typical straight, curved, and skewed box-girder bridges in California which form the bulk of the bridge inventory in the state. Three case study bridges are chosen: Meloland Road Overpass, Northwest Connector of Interstate 10/215 Interchange, and Painter Street Overpass, having straight, curved, and skewed superstructures, respectively. The efficacy of nonlinear dynamic analysis is established by comparing the response from analytical models to the recorded strong motion data. Finally insights are provided on the component behavioral characteristics and shift in vulnerability for each of the bridge types considered.

The recent information society is affected by new technologies including EC(Electronic Commerce), CALS(Commerce At Light Speed), EDI(Electronic Data Interchange), telecommuting and teleconferencing. The research goal of this paper is to identify major failure factors to reduce the dysfunction of EC and to suggest possible strategies that overcome those obstacles. The research methodologies of major failure factors are very similar to those of critical success factors which were widely used in MIS research areas. Ideally EC provides the possibility of a win/win situation for vendors and consumers. A survey study was performed using questionnaires. The factor analysis was performed to identify failure factors. Several hypotheses were set up to identify the major failure factors to reduce the dysfunction of EC. The regession analysis was performed to test those hypotheses and to understand the relationships between the major failure factors identified and the performance variables such as satisfaction, usage, and usefulness. Finally, the paper suggests alternatives to activate EC in terms of regulations, social rules, a technological model, etc.

전자문서교환(電子文書交換)(EDI) 시스템이 정보사회의 도래와 더불어 전략경영(戰略經營)의 핵심수단으로 등장함에 따라 우리나라에서도 EDI에 관한 학문적(學問的) 관심이 최근에 고조되고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 EDI에 관한 국내(國內)의 선행연구(先行硏究)는 일천할 뿐더러 연구의 양(量)과 질(質)에 있어서도 매우 미미하다. 이제는 EDI가 기업의 전략경영(戰略經營) 성과(成果)에 구체적으로 어떤 영향(影響)을 미치고 있는가를 심층적으로 분석할 필요성(必要性)이 크게 대두되고 있다. 이와 같은 연구(硏究)의 필요성(必要性)에 따라 본고(本考)에서는 정보기술(情報技術)(IT)과 성과(成果)(performance) 분석(分析)에 관련된 최근의 선행연구를 종합적(綜合的) 포괄적(包括的)으로 정리하였으며, 이들 선행 연구들이 성과(成果) 분석(分析)에 사용한 구체적인 측정방법(測定方法)을 제시하고 있다.

The purpose of this research is to present basic data for the residents, experts, and administrators to establish sustainable and future-oriented experience villages by investigating the operational realities of rural and mountain experience villages that have currently been promoted as the government-supported projects. First, in order to establish a sustainable experience village, each of the residents, experts and administrators who are the principal agents for cultivating the village should perform their role appropriately and build an organic cooperative system. The residents should have a sense of ownership and form a sense of solidarity by organizing communal consultation system. The experts should be able to present feasible project plans. The administrators need to have posture of understanding from the viewpoint of residents. In order to establish sustainable experience villages, ecological, cultural, and social values should be conveyed preferentially, and through this, the living spaces like farm villages should be formed.
