공동주택의 태양광시스템 적용성 평가를 위한 전기부하 매칭 해석연구 (A Study on the Electrical Load Matching Analisys for the optimal utilization of grid-conntected PV system in Apartment Complex)

  • This study is to investigate an optimal size and position of PV system for apartment complex enough the electrical load matching analysis. The 4 types of arrangements of apartment buildings are considered as follows; ㅡtype, alternative ㅡtype, ㄱtype and ㅁtype. We assume that the studied site is composed of 9 buildings. Firstly, solar access evaluation of roof and facade in apartment buildings was performing with the hourly simulations of total received insolation on each surface considering the hading effect of buildings. Electrical load profile of typical Korean apartments was investigated for the lad matching analysis. To calculate an annual total PV output, we used MERIT program which is a sourly based load matching tool developed by ESRU. TRY weather data of Daejeon are applied for this analysis. Result shows that approximately 11% of total electric load of the site can be supplied by the PV system in the case of full installation of PV system at the whole south-face roof area of 9 buildings in this stuided apartment complex. Depending of a various installation option of roof and facade area, the possible ratio of PV supply in total electrical load varies from 9% to 42%. Among the 4 arrangement types, the ㅡ type revealed the best option for the maximum output of PV system.

MERRA 재해석 자료를 이용한 복잡지형 내 풍력발전단지 연간에너지발전량 예측 (Prediction of Annual Energy Production of Wind Farms in Complex Terrain using MERRA Reanalysis Data)

  • The MERRA reanalysis data provided online by NASA was applied to predict the annual energy productions of two largest wind farms in Korea. The two wind farms, Gangwon wind farm and Yeongyang wind farm, are located on complex terrain. For the prediction, a commercial CFD program, WindSim, was used. The annual energy productions of the two wind farms were obtained for three separate years of MERRA data from June 2007 to May 2012, and the results were compared with the measured values listed in the CDM reports of the two wind farms. As the result, the prediction errors of six comparisons were within 9 percent when the availabilities of the wind farms were assumed to be 100 percent. Although further investigations are necessary, the MERRA reanalysis data seem useful tentatively to predict adjacent wind resources when measurement data are not available.

  • This study aims to investigate the usage of the renewable energy systems installed in buildings and make suggestions for the effective management. In this regard, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 1)design and construction, 2) operation and management, 3) user satisfaction and improvements about the renewable energy systems in buildings. Findings from this study can be summarized as follows; a lack of the basic information about systems, non-use of energy management systems, the differences in the features by energy source, and a lack of expertise of managers. The requirements to resolved these problems include the integrated management of various electric heat sources including a renewable energy source, an operation schedule based on the prediction of production and consumption, and so on. Furthermore the necessity of multiplex energy sources management system was confirmed and the basic data needed to establish the targets of this system were obtained.

태양 열·전기 복합생산 단위 모듈의 실험적 성능비교 연구 (An Experimental Performance Comparison Study of Solar Heat and Power Hybrid Unit Module)

  • 태양 열 전기 복합생산 시스템은 태양광을 이용한 전력생산과 더불어 열에너지를 동시에 생산하는 시스템이다. 본 연구에서는 태양 공기 열 전기 복합생산 단위모듈 실험 장치를 구현하여 실험하고 데이터 분석을 통한 표면온도에 대한 발전 효율증가와 열에너지 생산량을 제시한다. 실험은 기존의 태양광 방식과 공기열 복합생산 방식을 반복 수행하였다. 이 두 실험 데이터를 비교분석을 통하여 기존의 방식 대비 공기열 복합 생산 방식의 단위 표면온도에 대한 발전효율상승을 정량적으로 제시한다. 본 실험에서 공기열 태양 열 전기 복합 생산방식은 기존 태양광 대비 표면온도는 $13.52^{\circ}C$ 낮아졌고, 발전효율이 5.09% 상승하였다. 또한 공기열원 순환 시스템의 출입구 온도차이 $1^{\circ}C$$15.69W_t$의 열에너지를 생산한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 실험적 데이터의 비교분석을 통한 결과로 공기열원 태양 열 전기 복합생산 시스템의 $0.34%/^{\circ}C$의 단위 표면온도당 발전 효율상승 수치를 제시한다.

  • In the information society represented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, various types of data and information that are difficult to see are produced, processed, and processed and circulated to enhance the value of existing goods. The IoT(Internet of Things) paradigm will change the appearance of individual life, industry, disaster, safety and public service fields. In order to implement the IoT paradigm, several elements of technology are required. It is necessary that these various elements are efficiently connected to constitute one system as a whole. It is also necessary to collect, provide, transmit, store and analyze IoT data for implementation of IoT platform. We designed and implemented a big data processing IoT platform for IoT service implementation. Proposed platform system is consist of IoT sensing/control device, IoT message protocol, unstructured data server and big data analysis components. For platform testing, fixed IoT devices were implemented as solar power generation modules and mobile IoT devices as modules for table tennis stroke data measurement. The transmission part uses the HTTP and the CoAP, which are based on the Internet. The data server is composed of Hadoop and the big data is analyzed using R. Through the emprical test using fixed and mobile IoT devices we confirmed that proposed IoT platform system normally process and operate big data.

  • 본 연구에서는 Second Simulation of the Satellite Signal in the Solar Spectrum Vector를 활용하여 Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aerosol optical depth (AOD)의 기대 오차(expected error, EE)가 KOMPSAT-3A 지표반사도(surface reflectance, SR)의 정확도에 미치는 영향을 평가한다. 연구에서 다양한 지상 AOD와 그에 따른 MODIS AOD EE를 고려함으로써, 파장이 짧고 태양천정각(solar zenith angle, SZA)이 높을수록 SR 오류가 증가한다는 결과를 확인했으며, 이는 파장과 SZA 고려 사항을 통합하여 대기보정 알고리즘을 개선하기 위한 추가 연구가 필요하다는 점을 강조한다. 또한, 이 연구는 대기보정 과정에서 다른 위성의 AOD 자료 활용에 대해 더 잘 이해하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고 대기보정 기술 발전에 기여할 것으로 예상한다.

산업단지 에너지사용계획을 위한 표준데이터 산정 연구 (A Study on the Calculation of Standard Data for Energy Use Plan of Industry Complex)

  • The Consultation about Energy Use Plan is prescribed by the Energy Use Rationalization Act. This study calculated the Standard Data for Energy Use Plan of Industry Complex by the 9th Korean Standard Industrial Classification Divisions so that the energy demand reflecting the industrial technology change and characteristics of Manufacturing Divisions would predict. To achieve this aim, analysis on thousands of data in Energy Consumption Report Forms reported from industries which annual consumption of energy exceeds 2,000toe from 2009 to 2010 was carried out. The results showed that calculated overall mean fuel basic unit decrease, electricity basic unit increase and energy basic unit increase compared to that of the Notification No. 2002-130 of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, therefore it means that heat source of energy facilities transferred from fuel to electricity. Also resultingly suggests that the related notification, code etc. are amended as soon as possible.

한반도 대기청명도의 재평가 (Revaluation of Atmospheric Clearness Index in Korea Peninsula)

  • Since the atmospheric clearness index is main factor for evaluating atmosphere environment, it is necessary to estimate its characteristics all over the major cities in Korea Peninsula. We have begun collecting clearness index data since 1982 at 16 different cities in South Korea and estimated using empirical forecasting models at 21 different stations over the North Korea from 1982 to 2008. This considerable effort has been made for constructing a standard value from measured data at each city. The new clearness data for global-dimming analysis will be extensively used by evaluating atmospheric environment as well as by solar PV application system designer or users. From the results, we can conclude that. 1) Yearly mean 63.5 % of the atmospheric clearness index was evaluated for clear day all over the 37 cities in Korea Peninsula, 2) Clear day's atmospheric clearness index of spring and summer were 64.6% and 64.8%, and for fall and winter their values were 63.3% and 61.3% respectively in Korea Peninsula.

  • 신재생에너지의 발전량 변동에 따라 기존 발전기의 발전량을 증가시키거나 감소시켜야 하는데, 발전량 증 감발에 빠르게 반응을 하는 발전기들은 상대적으로 발전비용이 크므로 태양광발전의 예측 정확도에 따라서 기동발전계획의 비용 효율성이 영향을 받게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 태양광 발전량 예측의 불확실성을 최소화하기 위하여 빅데이터 분석 및 처리를 적용한 태양광발전설비 원격관제 시스템을 제안하였다.

  • With the rapid development of the national industry, the importance of electrical safety was recognized because of a lot of new electrical equipment are installing and the electrical accidents have been occurring annually. Today, the electrical equipments is inspect by using the portable Infrared thermal imaging camera. but the most negative element of using the camera is inspected for only state of heating, the reliable diagnosis is depended with inspector's knowledge, and real-time monitoring is impossible. This paper present the infrared thermal imaging safety diagnosis system. This system is able to monitor in real time, predict the state of fault, and diagnose the state with analysis of thermal and power data. The system consists of a main processor, an infrared camera module, the power data acquisition board, and a server. The diagnostic algorithm is based on a mathematical model designed by analyzing the Pearson's Correlation Coefficient between temperature and power data. To test the prediction algorithm, the simulations were performed by damaging the terminals or cables on the switchboard to generate a large amount of heat. Utilizing these simulations, the developed prediction algorithm was verified.
