  • This study attempted to find out the factors affecting the self-directed learning ability of nursing students who took online lectures. The research method was a structured questionnaire survey targeting 2nd to 4th grade nursing college students, and the analysis method was analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, the self-directed learning ability of nursing college students was an average of 3.48 points out of 5 points, and it was found that learning immersion had the greatest effect on self-directed learning ability. Based on the results of this study, it will be necessary to establish a quality education system and the efforts of instructors who apply various lecture methods or customized lecture programs so that learners can immerse themselves in learning in order to improve learners' self-directed learning ability.

  • In this study, we built the data collection system to learn user's habit data by deep learning and to create an indoor environment according to the situation. The system consists of a data collection server and several sensor nodes, which creates the environment according to the data collected. We used Google Inception v3 network to analyze the photographs and hand-designed second DNN (Deep Neural Network) to infer behaviors. As a result of the DNN learning, we gained 98.4% of Testing Accuracy. Through this results, we were be able to prove that DNN is capable of extrapolating the situation.

  • With Building Information Modeling(BIM) becoming the de facto standard for data sharing in the AEC industry, additional needs have increased to ensure the data integrity of BIM models themselves. Although the Industry Foundation Classes provide an open and neutral data format, its generalized schema leaves it open to data loss and misclassifications This research applied deep learning to automatically classify BIM elements and thus check the integrity of BIM-to-IFC mappings. Multi-view CNN(MVCC) and PointNet, which are two deep learning models customized to learn and classify in 3 dimensional non-euclidean spaces, were used. The analysis was restricted to classifying subtypes of architectural walls. MVCNN resulted in the highest performance, with ACC and F1 score of 0.95 and 0.94. MVCNN unitizes images from multiple perspectives of an element, and was thus able to learn the nuanced differences of wall subtypes. PointNet, on the other hand, lost many of the detailed features as it uses a sample of the point clouds and perceived only the 'skeleton' of the given walls.

  • Customized services to a sleep induction for better sleepcare are more effective because of different satisfaction levels to users. The EOG data measured at the frontal lobe when a person blinks his eyes can be used as biometric data because it has different values for each person. The accuracy of measurement is degraded by a noise source, such as toss and turn. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the noisy data and remove them from normal EOG by filtering. There are low-pass filtering and high-pass filtering as filtering using a frequency band. However, since filtering within a frequency band range is also required for more effective performance, we propose a machine learning model for the filtering of EOG data in this paper as the second filtering method. In addition, optimal values of parameters such as the depth of the hidden layer, the number of nodes of the hidden layer, the activation function, and the dropout were found through experiments, to improve the performance of the machine learning filtering model, and the filtering performance of 95.7% was obtained. Eventually, it is expected that it can be used for effective user identification services by using filtering model for EOG data.

  • In the rapidly changing information age, as the need for Informatization education increases, it is necessary to further activate Informatization education for adults. First, in terms of lifelong learning, this researcher suggested learner analysis, class subject materialization, and lecture environment confirmation as three things to be considered first before the course is opened. And as a matter to be continuously considered in terms of lifelong learning, this researcher considered that the connection with the next quarter class and the continuity of learning opportunities should be considered. This study attempted to reveal the differentiated characteristics of informatization education in terms of lifelong education by presenting and analyzing three actual class cases taught by this researcher at lifelong education institutions. Its characteristics included customized education in the information age, continuous upgrades of equipment, instructor education in response to the information age, and expansion of employment opportunities. Based on the case of information education classes, this study, which analyzed the differentiated characteristics of information education at the lifelong education level, can help improve the quality of instructors and self-development of learners in the actual educational environment. For this, continuous follow-up research will also be needed.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze students' perception of smart learning focusing on its definitions, roles and values in distance higher education. In the online survey, 1,950 students of 'A' open university were participated. The results show that the students viewed the smart learning to be more 'absorbing', 'interactive' and 'collaborative' than the existing e-learning, as it compiles their experiences into learning. However, the respondents' perceptions of smart learning varied among different age groups: more students in their 40s and 50s responded that smart learning was 'customized', 'humanlike', 'interactive', 'comfortable', 'stable', 'familiar', 'unstressful', and 'practical' than students in their 20s and 30s, and they tend to view the main feature of smart learning to be the compilation of learner experiences.

  • As the Learning Model (offered major course) of the connected program between high school and college, we conducted a customized education model for second grade high school students with regard to IT. Being based on the latest major trend and practical training within a given period this model has derived the high level of interest and participation from the students. First of all, the first program has focused on the theory and practice. In case of the theory lecture, the new knowledge and practical experiences attracted students' interests. Secondly, the second program mainly consisted of practical training. The basic knowledge through first learning program enabled the students to follow the second course for advanced experiences as well as the variety of new technology. Finally, the survey and evaluation were carried out on the students who finished programs. Most of the students gave answers that both the theory classes and customized practical training were helpful in finding their major and career exploration. The Learning Model of the connected program between high school and college showed that it can be useful not only to extract students' potential ability and good talent but also for university selection and career choices.
