The needs of efficient electricity use and current measurement for electrical safety have been increased. Hence, the current sensor is used, especially non-contact current sensor which can measure the current without blocking the circuit using hall effect. However, the accurate measuring of the current sensor is inhibited due to the inflow of various noises in this current sensor. In this article, a stronger current sensor against the noise is proposed using low pass FIR filter to the existing current sensor. FIR filter was designed to block the range over the certain frequency at the output of the current sensor to eliminate the external noises, and so on. As a result, more accurate and close measurements were possible.

The electron transport properties of Y-type zigzag branched carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are of great significance for micro and nano carbon-based electronic devices and their interconnection. Based on the semi-empirical method combining tight-binding density functional theory and non-equilibrium Green's function, the electron transport properties between the branches of Y-type zigzag branched CNT are studied. The results show that the drain-source current of semiconducting Y-type zigzag branched CNT (8, 0)-(4, 0)-(4, 0) is cut-off and not affected by the gate voltage in a bias voltage range [-0.5 V, 0.5 V]. The current presents a nonlinear change in a bias voltage range [-1.5 V, -0.5 V] and [0.5 V, 1.5 V]. The tangent slope of the current-voltage curve can be changed by the gate voltage to realize the regulation of the current. The regulation effect under negative bias voltage is more significant. For the larger diameter semiconducting Y-type zigzag branched CNT (10, 0)-(5, 0)-(5, 0), only the value of drain-source current increases due to the larger diameter. For metallic Y-type zigzag branched CNT (12, 0)-(6, 0)-(6, 0), the drain-source current presents a linear change in a bias voltage range [-1.5 V, 1.5 V] and is symmetrical about (0, 0). The slope of current-voltage line can be changed by the gate voltage to realize the regulation of the current. For three kinds of Y-type zigzag branched CNT with different diameters and different conductivity, the current-voltage curve trend changes from decline to rise when the branch of drain-source is exchanged. The current regulation effect of semiconducting Y-type zigzag branched CNT under negative bias voltage is also more significant.

Finding renewable and clean energy resources is essential research to solve global warming and depletion of fossil fuels in modern society. Recently, complex harvesting of energy from multiple sources is available in our living environments using a single device has become highly desirable, representing a new trend in energy technologies. We report that when simultaneously driving the fusion and composite cells of two or more types, it is possible to make an affect the other cells to obtain a greater synergistic effect. To understand the coupling effect of photovoltaic and piezoelectric device, we fabricate the serially integrated hybrid cell (s-HC) based on organic solar cell (OSC) and piezoelectric nanogenerator (PNG). The size of increased voltage peaks when OSC and PNG are working on is larger than the case when only PNG is working. This voltage difference is the Voc change of OSC, not the voltage change of PNG and current density difference between these two cases is manifested more clearly. When the OSC and PNG are working in s-HC at the same time, piezoelectric potential (VPNG) is generated in ZnO and theoretical total voltage is sum of voltage of an OSC (VOSC) and VPNG. However, electrons from OSC are influenced by piezoelectric potential in ZnO and current loss of OSC in whole circuit decreases. As a result, VOSC increases temporarily. Current shows the similar behavior. PNG acts a resistance in the whole circuit and current loss occurs when the electrons from OSC pass through the PNG. But piezoelectric potential recover current loss and decrease the resistance of PNG. Our PNG can maintain piezoelectric potential when the strain is held owing to the LDH layer while general PNG cannot maintain piezoelectric potential. During the section that strain is held, voltage enhancement effect is maintained and same effect appeared even turn off the light. Actually at this time, electrons in ZnO nanosheets move to LDH and trapped by the positive charges in this layer. After this strain is held, piezoelectric potential of ZnO nanosheets is disappeared but potential difference which is developed by negative charge dominant LDH layer is remained. This potential acts similar role like piezoelectric potential in ZnO. Electrons from the OSC also are influenced by this potential and the more current flows.

It is common to install multiple lines in the same route. Recently, excessive sheath circulating current was partially measured in underground cable systems of KEPCO. Especially, the installation type, unbalance section length between joint boxes and zero sequence current by distribution cable have an effect on the rising of sheath circulating current in the underground transmission system. If excessive current flows in sheath, sheath loss which is reduced the transmission capacity is produced. This paper describes the relation analysis of sheath circulating current and burying types. And also, a detailed analysis on rising cause and characteristic of sheath circulating current by considering various unbalanced conditions presents using analysis and measurement regarding cable systems which have the problem of excessive sheath circulation current.

This paper is concerned with the eddy current damper which can be used to enhance the damping of the host structure. The operating principle of the eddy current damper is first explained in detail. The dynamic interaction between the magnets and the copper plate produces eddy current thus resulting in the damping force. By attaching the eddy current damper to the host structure, the damping of the total structure can be increased so that vibrations can be suppressed. The advantage of the eddy current damper is that it doesn't require any electronic devices and power supply. The effect of the eddy current damper on the global dynamic characteristics of the structure is investigated by considering the cantilever with the eddy current damper. Experimental results show that the eddy current damper is an effective device for vibration suppression.

This paper presents that generation and propagation mechanism of low frequency current ripples generated by a rectification effect of an inverter in fuel cell generation system is analyzed. The ripple reduction methode using hardware components such as capacitors and inductors is examined to reduce low frequency current ripples. A new fast and robust low frequency current ripple elimination algorithm is then proposed to incorporate a single loop current controller, which directly controls fuel cell current, without any extra hardware. The proposed algorithm can completely eliminate this current ripple as well as an overshoot or undershoot is significantly reduced. And the de link voltage and output current are well regulated by inverter controller. The validity of proposed algorithm is verified both computer simulation using PSIM 6.0 and experiment with a 1kW laboratory prototype.
Recently, we have provided evidence that ginsenosides, the active components of Panax ginseng, utilize pertussis toxin (PTX)-insensitive $G{\alpha}_{q/11}-phospholipase\;C-{\beta}3(PLC-{\beta}3)$ signal transduction pathway for the enhancement of $Ca^{2+}-activated\;Cl^{-}$ current in the Xenopus oocyte (British J. Pharmacol. 132, 641-647, 2001; JBC 276, 48797-48802, 2001). Other investigators have shown that stimulation of receptors linked to $G{\alpha}-PLC$ pathway inhibits the activity of G proteincoupled inwardly rectifying $K^+$ (GIRK) channel. In the present study, we sought to determine whether ginsenosides influenced the activity of GIRK 1 and GIRK 4 (GIRK 1/4) channels expressed in the Xenopus oocyte, and if so, the underlying signal transduction mechanism. In oocyte injected with GIRK 1/4 channel cRNAs, bath-applied ginsenosides inhibited high potassium (HK) solution-elicited GIRK current $(EC_{50}:4.9{\pm}4.3\;{\mu}g/ml).$ Pretreatment of the oocyte with PTX reduced the HK solution-elicited GIRK current by $49\%,$ but it did not alter the inhibitory ginsenoside effect on GIRK current. Prior intraoocyte injection of cRNA(s) coding $G{\alpha}_q,\;G{\alpha}_{11}\;or\;G{\alpha}_q/G{\alpha}_{11},\;but\;not\;G{\alpha}_{i2}\;or\;G{\alpha}_{oA}$ attenuated the inhibitory ginsenoside effect. Injection of cRNAs coding $G{\beta}_{1{\gamma}2}$ also attenuated the ginsenoside effect. Similarly, injection of the cRNAs coding regulators of G protein signaling 1, 2 and 4 (RGS1, RGS2 and RGS4), which interact with $G{\alpha}_i\;and/or\;G{\alpha}_{q/11}$ and stimulates the hydrolysis of GTP to GDP in active GTP-bound $G{\alpha}$ subunit, resulted in a significant reduction of ginsenoside effect on GIRK current. Preincubation of GIRK channel-expressing oocyte in PLC inhibitor (U73122) or protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitor (staurosporine or chelerythrine) blocked the inhibitory ginsenoside effect on GIRK current. On the other hand, intraoocyte injection of BAPTA, a free $Ca^{2+}$ chelator, had no significant effect on the ginsenoside action. Taken together, these results suggest that ginsenosides inhibit the activity of GIRK 1/4 channel expressed in the Xenopus oocyte through a PTX-insensitive and $G{\alpha}_{q/11}$-,PLC-and PKC-mediated signal transduction pathway.

The effect of electrode and deposition methods on non-linear interfacial resistive switching in HfO2 based $250{\times}250$ nm2 cross-point device was studied. HfO2 based device has the interfacial resistive switching properties of non-linearity and self-compliance current switching. The operating current in HfO2 based device was increased with negatively increasing the heat of formation energy in top electrode. Also, it was investigated that the operating current in HfO2 based device was changed with deposition methods of O3 reactant ALD, H2O reactant ALD and dc reactive sputtering, resulting the magnitude of the operating current and on/off ratio in order of HfO2 films deposited by dc reactive sputtering, H2O reactant ALD, and O3 reactant ALD. To investigate the effect of electrode and deposition methods on operating current of non-linear interfacial resistive switching in the cross-point device, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy was measured. Through the analysis of O 1s spectra, non-lattice oxygen concentration, which is closely related to oxygen vacancies, was increased in order of Pt, TiN, and Ti top electrodes and in order of O3 reactant ALD, H2O reactant ALD, and O3 reactant ALD, and dc reactive sputtering deposition method. From all results, non-lattice oxygen concentration in ultra-thin HfO2 films play a crucial role in the operating current and memory states (LRS & HRS) in the non-linear interfacial resistive switching.
Eddy current in MRI systems degrades gradient field linearity and distorts gradient waveform. When the waveform distortion is spatially variant, it is very difficult to perform special imaging techniques such as the echo planar imaging technique or the fast spin echo imaging technique. In this study, we have developed a new technique to estimate the distorted gradient waveforms at any points inside the imaging region using the finite element method. After obtaining the eddy-current-effect transfer function, which represents magnitude and phase characteristics of the gradient field at a particular point, we have used the transfer function to estimate the actual gradient waveforms at the point. To verify the proposed technique, we have compared the estimated gradient waveforms with the measured ones.

The purpose of this study is to find out the changing trajectory of online game use as the development of early adolescences. It is also to explore whether the self-control has a current and a lag effect on the game use while development of students. We found these results: (a) There is a statically significant individual variability in initial levels and rates of change in online game use over time. The change of trajectory is declined. (b) Boys also have higher rate of the change in using game than girls over time. (c) Both initial state and changing rate of online game use affects negatively the academic achievement. (d) Current effect always supports, but lag effect does not support except the period from last elementary school grade to middle school grade as explanations for the developmental relation between self-control and online game use in young adolescents.
