고주파수 펄스 전류가 구리 미세조직에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Higher Frequency of Pulse Current on Copper Microstructure)

  • 금속의 기계적 강화방법인 결정립미세화의 일종으로 미세한 쌍정을 도입하여 기계적강도를 향상시키면서 전기전도도는 감소시키지 않는 방안으로 nanotwin 구조의 Cu가 보고되고 있다. Nanotwin 구조는 FCC결정구조에서 특정 결정면을 [(111) mirror plane]을 기준으로 정합계면을 유지하면서 원자층의 배열이 역전되는 구조가 수~수십나노 수준의 간격으로 이뤄진 미세조직을 의미한다. 전해도금법을 이용한 nanotwin Cu의 형성방법으로는 pulse 파형을 사용하는데, pulse파형의 on time동안의 높은 전류밀도로 인해 발생한 도금층의 stress가 off time동안에 release되면서 nanotwin구조가 형성되는 것으로 보고되고 있다. Nanotwin형성 조건으로 보고된 pulse 도금 조건은 수에서 수십밀리초의 on time에 duty cycle($t_{on}/(t_{off}+t_{on})$)이 1/100~1/10 수준이다. 본 연구에서는 전기이중층의 이온고갈에 필요한 회복시간인 수에서 수십 밀리초 보다 짧은 시간인 마이크로 초($1{\mu}s$, $10{\mu}s$$100{\mu}s$)의 pulse 전류를 인가하였을 때에 발생하는 구리 도금층의 미세조직의 변화에 대해 알아보고자 한다.

  • 장비의 리액터브 성분의 물리적 크기를 저감하고 동특성을 개선하기 위하여 동작스위칭 주파수를 증가 시키는 것이 우수하나 이러한 방식은 발열과 스트레스로 인한 전력소자의 파괴, 스위칭손실 증가로 인한 효율 감소등 다양한 문제가 발생하게 된다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 보조장치를 응용한 기동전류 회로를 적용한 하프브리지 방식의 Intense Pulse Light를 제안 하였다. 시뮬레이션 및 실험결과를 통해 20% 향상을 가져와 환자에게 보다 더 질적인 측정을 할 수가 있다고 확인하였다.

  • We numerically solve the nonlinear Schrödinger equation for pulse propagation in a passively mode-locked Yb:KGW laser. The soliton-like pulse formation as a result of balanced negative group-delay dispersion (GDD) and nonlinear self-phase modulation is analyzed. The cavity design and optical parameters of a previously reported high-power Yb:KGW laser were adopted to compare the simulation results with experimental results. The pulse duration and energy obtained by varying the small-signal gain or GDD reproduce the overall tendency observed in the experiments, demonstrating the reliability and accuracy of the model simulation and the optical parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 고효율의 CMOS PWM DC-DC 벅 변환기를 설계하였다. 설계된 CMOS PWM DC-DC 벅 변환기는 입력전압(3.4-3.9V)로부터 일정한 출력전압(1-2.8V)을 생성한다. Inductor-based 방식을 택하였고, 제어 대상은 전류이며, Pulse Width Modulation(PWM) 모드로 동작한다. 회로 구성은 Power Switch, Pulse Width Generation, Buffer, Zero Current Sensing, Current Sensing Circuit, Clock & Ramp generation, V-I Converter, Soft Start, Compensator, Modulator 등 이다. 제안된 CMOS PWM DC-DC 벅 컨버터는 Switching Frequency가 약 1MHz이고, 부하 전류가 약 40mA이상부터 CCM동작을 하며 100mA일 때 98.71%의 최대 효율을 갖는다. 또한, 출력전압 리플은 0.98mV이다(입력전압 3.5V, 출력전압 2.5V 기준). 제안된 회로의 검증을 위해 CMOS $0.18{\mu}m$ 공정을 이용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.

Effect of Power Mode of Plasma Anodization on the Properties of formed Oxide Films on AZ91D Magnesium Alloy

  • The passivation of AZ91D Mg alloys by plasma anodization requires deliberate choice of process parameters due to the presence of large amounts of structural defects. We study the dependence of pore formation, surface roughness and corrosion resistance on voltage by comparing the direct current (DC) mode and the pulse wave (pulse) mode in which anodization is performed. In the DC plasma anodization mode, the thickness of the electrolytic oxide film of the AZ91D alloy is uneven. In the pulse mode, the thickness is relatively uniform and the formed thin film has a three-layer structure. The pulse mode creates less roughness, uniform thickness and improved corrosion resistance. Thus, the change of power mode from DC to pulse at 150 V decreases the surface roughness (Ra) from $0.9{\mu}m$ to $0.1{\mu}m$ and increases the corrosion resistance in rating number (RN) from 5 to 9.5. Our study shows that an optimal oxide film can be obtained with a pulse voltage of 150 V, which produces an excellent coating on the AZ91D casting alloy.

  • High voltage direct current(HVDC) transmission system uses the phase controlled rectifier triggered by means of IPC(individual phase control) or EPC(equidistant pulse control). Most HVDC system has adopted EPC method that can solve the harmonic instability problem of IPC method in weak power system. But EPC has inherent indirect synchronizing problem requiring the closed loop control. This paper presents the new gate pulse generating method for 12-pulse HVDC converter, which combines IPC with EPC. Simulation and test results are presented. The basic concept is that it generates the gating pulse for 12-pulse converter by synthesizing the internal phase reference using the frequency and phase information of a sin91e phase voltage. To ensure the reliability of the external phase input, Potential transformer that detects the phase voltage has redundancy. Using fault detecting algorithm the healthy input is always guaranteed. And the frequency compensation function was reinforced.

  • The application of a pulsed power system is being extended to a environmental and industrial fields. The non-dissolution waste water pollutants from industrial plants can be processed by applying high voltage pulses with a fast rising time (a few nanoseconds) and short duration (nano to microseconds) in a pulsed corona discharge reactor. The nano-pulse generator with a magnetic switch has been developed. Its corona current in load can be adjusted by pulse width and repetition rate. we investigated the performance of the nano-pulse generator using the dummy load which is composed of resistor and capacitor equivalent to the actual reactor. This paper descibes the electrical characteristics of the nano-pulse generator that produces a 300 ns pulse at maximum repetition rate of 400 pps with a voltage of 40 kV across a $640{\Omega}$ load. In this paper we briefly discuss a configuration of system and test results.

  • This paper presents a forward type high voltage pulse power supply for high voltage small current, which can be designed as a simple circuit configuration and managed easily using Power-MOSFET in the view of commercialization. According to the switching frequency, coupling factor(k) and duty ratio(D), the Principle of basic operation and the characteristics of the proposed pulse power supply are estimated. Simulation results have demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed pulse power supply. Also experimental results are presented to verify theoretical discussion with a lamp type ozonizer as a load. For studying the application at the part of environment of water, When ozonizer gas reacts with a colon bacillus, the sterilization characteristics of a colon bacillus according to the ozone concentration and response time have been investigated. This proposed pulse power supply will be able to be practically used as a pulse power supply in various environment improvement facilities like sterilization of colon bacillus, deodorization, and Nox gas elimination.
