This paper presents a single switch, high step-up, non-isolated dc-dc converter suitable for renewable energy applications. The proposed converter is composed of a coupled inductor, a passive clamp circuit, a switched capacitor and voltage lift circuits. The passive clamp recovers the leakage inductance energy of the coupled inductor and limits the voltage spike on the switch. The configuration of the passive clamp and switched capacitor circuit increases the voltage gain. A wide continuous conduction mode (CCM) operation range, a low turn ratio for the coupled inductor, low voltage stress on the switch, switch turn on under almost zero current switching (ZCS), low voltage stress on the diodes, leakage inductance energy recovery, high efficiency and a high voltage gain without a large duty cycle are the benefits of this converter. The steady state operation of the converter in the continuous conduction mode (CCM) and discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) is discussed and analyzed. A 200W prototype converter with a 28V input and a 380V output voltage is implemented and tested to verify the theoretical analysis.
Purpose - Current study aimed at investigating customer experience types (gain vs. loss avoidance performance experience and hedonic vs. reliability imagery experience) and their influences on satisfaction and positive emotion as antecedents of customer engagement. It also explored moderation role of regulatory focus in the influence of each experience type on satisfaction and positive emotion. Research design, data, and methodology - 416 Vietnamese local tourists were selected to test hypotheses by structural equation model in AMOS 21.0. Results - First, customers actually achieving gain or avoiding loss are more satisfied. Second, customers with hedonic and reliability imagery experience feel more positive emotion. Third, both positive emotion and satisfaction have positive influences on customer engagement. Last, regulatory focus moderates the positive effects of either gain or loss avoidance performance experience on satisfaction and also moderates the positive effects of either hedonic or reliability imagery experience on positive emotion. Conclusions - Focusing on both cognitive satisfaction and affective emotion resulted from experience, this study could advance customer engagement theory. Managerially, brand managers should induce gain performance and hedonic imagery experience (loss avoidance performance and reliability imagery experience) from promotion (prevention)-focused customers to enhance their engagement.
Rational choice theory holds that the alternative with largest expected utility in the choice set should always be chosen. However, it is often observed that an alternative with the largest expected utility is not always chosen while the choice task itself being avoided. Such a choice phenomenon cannot be explained by the traditional expected utility maximization principle. The current study posits shows that such a phenomenon can be attributed to the gap between the expected perceived gain (or loss) and the expected perceived value. This study mathematically analyses the relationship between the expectation of an alternative's gains or losses over the reference point and its expected value, when the perceived gains or losses follow continuous probability distributions. The proposed expected value (EV) function can explain the effects of loss aversion and uncertainty on the evaluation of an alternative based on the prospect theory value function. The proposed function reveals why the expected gain of an alternative should exceed some positive threshold in order for the alternative to be chosen. The model also explains why none of the two equally or similarly attractive options is chosen when they are presented together, but either of them is chosen when presented alone. The EV function and EG-EV curve can extract and visualize the core tenets of the prospect theory more clearly than the value function itself.
Classical designs of optical transimpedance preamplifier for p-i-n photodiode receiver circuits generally employ common source transimpedance input stages. In this paper, we explore the design of a class of current-mode optical transimpedance preamplifier based upon common gate input stages. A feature of current-mode optical transimpedance preamplifier is high gain and high bandwidth. The bandwidth of the transimpedance preamplifier can also be increased by the capacitive peaking technique. In this paper we included the development and application of a circuit analysis technique based on the minimum noise. We develop a general formulation of the technique, illustrate its use on a number of circuit examples, and apply it to the design and optimization of the low-noise transimpedance amplifier. Using the noise minimization method and the capacitive peaking technique we designed a transimpedance preamplifier with low noise, high-speed current-mode transimpedance preamplifier with a 1.57GHz bandwidth, and a 2.34K transimpedance gain, a 470nA input noise current. The proposed preamplifier consumes 16.84mW from a 3.3V power supply.

A 4${\times}10^{19}cm^{3}$ carbon-doped base AlGaAs/GaAs HBY was grown using carbontetracholoride(CCl$_4$) by atmospheric pressure MOCVD. Abruptness of emitter-base junction was characterized by SIMS(secondary ion mass spectorscopy) and the doping concentration of base layer was confirmed by DXRD(double crystal X-ray diffractometry). Mesa-type HBTs were fabricated using wet etching and lift-off technique. The base sheet resistance of R$_{sheet}$=550${\Omega}$/square was measured using TLM(transmission line model) method. The fabricated transistor achieved a collector-base junction breakdown voltage of BV$_{CBO}$=25V and a critical collector current density of J$_{O}$=40kA/cm$^2$ at V$_{CE}$=2V. The 50$\times$100$\mu$$^2$ emitter transistor showed a common emitter DC current gain of h$_{FE}$=30 at a collector current density of JS1CT=5kA/cm$^2$ and a base current ideality factor of ηS1EBT=1.4. The high frequency characterization of 5$\times$50$\mu$m$^2$ emitter transistor was carried out by on-wafer S-parameter measurement at 0.1~18.1GHz. Current gain cutoff frequency of f$_{T}$=27GHz and maximum oscillation frequency of f$_{max}$=16GHz were obtained from the measured Sparameter and device parameters of small-signal lumped-element equivalent network were extracted using Libra software. The fabricated HBT was proved to be useful to high speed and power spplications.

This Paper propose the method that measure main system parameters for PI(proportional-integral) current control of a.c. motor adopting the vector control technique. For current control, the PI control input is could be tuning by several selective methods. Among the several methods, the method that using the main system parameters, wire resistance and inductance, are frequently used. In this study, the technique to dissect and measure these two system parameters through the results of simple feedback control. This analytic measurement method is measuring parameters step by step dissecting the results of P control using simple proportional feedback gain about the unit step or multiple step reference command. This strategy is an real time analytic measurement method that calculate current control gains of torque component and flux component both for vector control of A.C. motor without introducing the further measurement circuits and complex measuring algorithms.

High-linearity voltage-controlled current sources (VCCSs) circuits for wide voltage-controlled oscillator and automatic gain control are proposed. The VCCS consists of emitter follower for voltage input, two common-base amplifier which their emitter connected for current output, and current mirror which connected the two amplifier for large output current. The VCCS used only five transistors and a resistor without an extra bias circuit. Simulation results show that the VCCS has current output range from 0㎃ to 300㎃ over the control voltage range from 1V to 4.8V at supply voltage 5V. The linearity error of output current has less than 1.4% over the current range from 0A to 300㎃.
The primary dose effects on an insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) irradiated with a $^{60}Co$ gamma-ray source are found in both of the components of the threshold shifting due to oxide charge trapping in the MOS and the reduction of current gain in the bipolar transistor. In this letter, the IGBT macro-model incorporating irradiation is implemented, and the electrical characteristics are analyzed by SPICE simulation and experiments. In addition, the collector current characteristics as a function of gate emitter voltage, VGE, are compared with the model considering the radiation damage of different doses under positive biases.
A new Op-Amp output buffer is presented for driving large-size LCD panels. The proposed Op-Amp is designed by combining a common source and a common drain amplifier to have a high slew rate and to minimize the quiescent current. The proposed circuits are simulated in a high-voltage 0.6${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS process, dissipates only 20${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ static current, and have 83dB open-loop DC gain and 60$^{\circ}$phase margin.
This paper presented practical details about control-loop design and dynamic analysis for a peak current-mode controlled asymmetrical half-bridge(ASHB) do-to-dc converter, Graphical loop gain method is used to design the feedback compensation and analyze the closed-loop performance of ASHB converter. The results of the control design and closed-loop analysis are validated by experiments on a prototype converter.
