  • Traditional Chinese cuisine, which is highly evaluated with respect of taste and techniques, is built based on a sound healthy philosophy and distinct dietary culture, with emphasis on the unity of human beings and nature. The traditional cuisine utilized food materials according to the physical status and seasons, which is still a valuable principle in the modem diet. According to relevant research, the nutrient retention in Chinese cooking is acceptable. However, following the rapid growth of domestic economy, the Chinese diet is in danger of losing its original merits, especially when eating out. The excessive desire for food enjoyment leads to a rapid increase in the prevalence of obesity and chronic disease. It is a critical point to review the characteristic of traditional Chinese cuisine and lead the trend to a healthy direction.

  • It seems that it is hard to find the idea of social welfare from Confucianism if we consider it as feudalism. However, there is plentiful source of philosophical anthropology and social philosophy in Confucianism. It is the matter of how we understand Confucianism. This paper tries to look over the misunderstandings of Confucianism, and find out its essence from the view of philosophical anthropology and social philosophy. We could elicit the philosophy of social welfare from the series of work. Confucianism contains the idea of communalism on a view of human being. It means that he is born to be communal, not individual. Therefore it regards individualism as a vice. This let us conjecture the fact that Confucianism has different philosophy of welfare from the western culture which is based on the individualism. It will make us reflect upon the problems caused by individualism nowadays. Confucianism concentrates on the spiritual welfare no less than material welfare. If we state the word "welfare" differently into "happiness", Confucianism regards that the real happiness comes from the spirit, not matter. The spirit aims to realize moral value such as love, righteousness, and courtesy. Therefore Confucianism's philosophy of welfare ideally aimed the society that morally harmonized among people. The ideal of family-minded society was what it tried to realize.

  • Professor Dowon (道原) Lew, Seung-Kook (柳承國: 1923~2011) was a master of Eastern philosophy in Korea, in the 20th century. 'Confucianism' was the root of his discipline. Nevertheless he studied extensively throughout Eastern philosophy. He was also a pioneer of 'Korean Philosophy', who devoted himself to 'establishing the original form (原型) of Korean thought'. Professor Lew showed a unique view on how Confucian thought was formed. He has done many years of precise comparative analysis of the results of archaeological studies before 1970, particularly the study of bone-and-shell inions, and what was said in previous literature. As a result, he concluded that "we cannot discuss the origins of Confucian thought by separating the relationship with the Dongyi tribe". Confucianism was formed in relation to Dongyi. The purpose of his attention to the Dongyi tribe - RenFang tribe (人方族) was not to examine Dongyi tribe and its culture. His purpose was to examine how Confucian thought was formed and to examine the relevance of Dongyi tribe in this process. This was in conjunction with the task of exploring 'the original form of Korean thought', whether he pretended or not. Professor Lew, Seung-Kook's theory differed not only from the conventional view of the academic world in his time but also from the conventional view up to now. It is a pity that it was not yet discussed it in the academic world. I consider that it is necessary to seriously review Professor Lew and Seung-Kook's theory at this point when China has outlined the Northeast project (東北工程).

  • It is a time when a sustainable Korean Culture Festival strategy is needed. The Korean Culture Festival is a Hallyu Culture Festival that comprehensively introduces various Korean cultures such as Korean food, beauty, and fashion with the focus on K content, which has been leading the global craze since 2020. As the core project of the promotion of Neo Hallyu by the Ministry of Culture and Gymnasium, the 2021 Korean Culture Festival, which was based on the World K-Pop concert and the K-Culture Fan Fair, including holding the first face-to-face concert that applied the stage of real-world content after Covid-19, as well as conducting and exhibiting various fan participation challenges, must now make the leap to the global Hallyu Culture Festival. To this end, it can consist of drama, K-pop, K-Culture Fan Fair, K-Meetup, K-Culture Parade, and Awards. This distinction shows a classic festival program centered around the prosumer content that drives the Korean Wave, and in order for this philosophy to be effectively linked to its contemporaries, a Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) 'Techtainment Strategy' is needed to acquire potential customers through learned playfulness.

  • With the dawn of the 21st century, the corporate business environment started to witness the unprecedented, intense competition on global basis. As a result, the kind of corporate business activity that can respond swiftly to the new changes emerged as one of the most critical factors to increase corporate competitiveness. Being reborn as a strategy-focused organization means seeking innovation. And the strategy not involving innovation is just meaningless. It is this innovation that lies at the heart of the corporate strategy, and that is the only way for continuation of the corporation. The most important pending issue facing companies today is to bolster corporate competencies fit for new business environment, to develop corporate culture required for getting competitiveness edge back, and ultimately to put the company on the continued growth path. It also, as a regulation and norm for its employees to stick by, affects the way they think and behave. This paper aims at presenting the role of the corporate culture in working out problems encountered by companies today, like corporate innovation, instilling vitality to the organization, beefing up the underlying corporate capabilities, and making transformation required by the changing business environment.
