In comparison to the rapid rise in the number of restaurant daily deal service consumer complaints, relatively little attention has been directed at the features of deal consumers' complaint behaviors in academic research. In order to address this gap, this study examined the characteristics of complaint behaviors of consumers who purchase restaurant deals with a focus on three potential determinants (likelihood of success with the complaint, attitude toward complaining, and severity of the failure). Results indicated that the three proposed determinants emerged as critical factors that influence deal consumers to exhibit different complaint reactions to dissatisfactory experiences. Furthermore, it was discovered that the hypothesized relationships were moderated by value consciousness, in which high value-conscious deal consumers exhibited a higher complaint inclination than low-value conscious deal consumers.

We present a new way to create a thermally stable, highly strained germanium (Ge) optical resonator using a novel Ge-on-dual-insulators substrate. Instead of using a conventional way to undercut the oxide layer of a Ge-on-single-insulator substrate for inducing tensile strain in germanium, we use thin aluminum oxide as a sacrificial layer. By eliminating the air gap underneath the active germanium layer, we achieve an optically insulating, thermally conductive, and highly strained Ge resonator structure that is critical for a practical germanium laser. Using Raman spectroscopy and photoluminescence experiments, we prove that the novel geometry of our Ge resonator structure provides a significant improvement in thermal stability while maintaining good optical confinement.

The importance of Information technology (IT) has been growing. Thus, it is critical for firms to choose the optimal information technology development mode in order to ensure that maximum benefit is derived from IT. Despite its importance, however, there is little comprehensive research on choosing the IT development mode that firms undertake. To fill this gap, this study attempts to propose a parsimonious as well as comprehensive IT development framework based on strategic value and the uniqueness of IT resources. In addition, this study analyzes the impact of the fit between the theoretically proposed IT development mode and the actually used mode on the performance of Korean firms. This study contributes to and expands the literature on IT development modes by considering various development modes in real time. Moreover, the results serve as a stepping stone for managers who want to develop or adopt IT effectively.

전자상거래는 비즈니스 절차의 중간 단계를 축소시키고 공급자와 소비자의 관계를 보다 가깝게 만들어 새로운 제품 및 서비스의 제공, 비용절감 및 고객만족의 증대와 산업의 구조를 재구성하는 역할을 수행하고 있다. 그러므로 전자상거래 연구는 기술적 측면뿐만 아니라 경영적 측면의 요인에 관한 연구가 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전자상거래에 직접적으로 영향을 미칠 수 있는 경영기술 요인들을 체계적으로 분류하되 단순히 경영기술 요인을 나열하는 것이 아니라 상호 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인들의 관계를 자세히 분석할 수 있는 경영기술분류 프레임웤(Framework)을 개발하였다.

Recently,direct rolling process has been drawing increasing interests because production cost be greatly reduced by eliminating subsequent hot rolling processes. Such a process has been characterized to prosuce thin steel strip (thickness 1~5mm) directly from molten metal and to skip over the conventional hot rolling processes. However, since there are several process parameters, which affect the quality of product,and their relationship between the parametersare very complex,it is therefore very difficult to realize the process design and the quality control. To overcome these difficulties quantitative relationship between the parameters are investigated through a numerical analysis. Form these results, it is found that solidification final point is the most important paramter which is critical to quality of the strip. Also,the multiple regression model is obtianed to determine their relationship from the solidification final point and roll separating force which can be easily estimated

Characteristics of joint orientation, length, spacing and their distribution are very important factors for slope stability, Especially, the effect of joint spacing is an essential factor of slope stability. This study is to analyze the effect of joint spacing in cases of sliding and toppling, which is a typical failure mode. Joint spacing can divided into vertical spacing(spacing) and horizontal spacing(gap). And then, the spacing/length ratio of joint directly affect rock slope failure. When the ratio is below 0.05, the possibility of failure is rapidly increased. In case of toppling, the possibility of failure depends on the ratio of spacing to height of slope ratio slope. As the ratio decreases, the possibility of toppling failure increased. The critical ratio of spacing to height of slope is determined by the dip angle of the slope and the orientation of joint sets.

Various organizational factors effect successful implementation of IT enabled business transformation. Among them, the most critical success factor is deemed to overcoming change management problem. Lots of studies have been made on Implementation methodologies and business process formalizations to encourage organizational members to accept new business process changes. However, the logic or process redesign still depends on qualitative problem solving techniques mostly depending on basically human intuition such as brainstorming. cause-and-effect analysis. and so on. In this paper, we focused on developing analytic framework to design to-be business process structure. which can complement qualitative problem solving procedures. With effective use of IT as an enabler, we provide algorithmic framework applicable to designing various business process changes such as process automation, business process resequencing, and more radical process integration. The framework follows dynamic programming approach in the literature, which is based on the decision making paradigm of organizations to abstract business processes as quantitative decision models. As such, our research ran fill the gap of limited development of theory based analytic methodologies for business process design, by providing objective rationale to reach the consensus among the organizational members including senior management.

Polycrystalline $CuInSe_2$ (CIS) was synthesized through solvothermal reactions in toluene with selected alkyl amines as complexing agents. The alkyl amines were used as reducing agent of selenium and catalytic ligands, enhancing the formation of CIS compounds in the colloidal solution. Toluene does not contribute the syntheses directly but minimizes the amounts of amines required for single phase CIS. We systematically studied the reactivity of amine compounds for the solovothermal syntheses, determined critical concentration of amine and the shortest reaction time. Crystallinity, morphology, chemical composition, and band gap of the prepared $CuInSe_2$ were respectively measured by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy and UV-vis spectroscopy.

With a land area of 910,768 sq. km, population estimate of 150 million people and GDP-growth rate of 6.9% per annum (2006 est), the centrality of effective public transportation in Nigeria is readily seen. In this regard, rail transportation offers much potential because of its relative safety, reliability, lower cost to the users and being singularly capable of transforming the national economy through mass movement of people, goods and services. Within this context, the demand for an effective railway system, and the enormous potentials for profitable investment in rail infrastructure in Nigeria, is indisputable. Beginning with the history, the paper discusses the main problems of Nigeria's railway transport system; and then makes policy suggestions, after considering the potentials of rebuilding the rail infrastructure. The necessity of this work is premised on the fact that there is a significant gap in critical knowledge about Nigeria's railway transport system.
