산불진화대원용 스마트 헬멧 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Smart Helmet for Forest Firefighting Crews)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 산불진화대원들을 안전하게 하고, 현장 정보를 실시간으로 제공하기 위한 스마트 헬멧을 개발하는 것이다. 산불진화대원용 스마트 헬멧은 카메라, 영상/음성통신 모듈, GPS, Bluetooth 및 LTE 모듈 등을 모두 갖추어 산불진화대원의 안전을 도모하고, 스마트 헬멧을 통해 현장 상황을 실시간으로 전송하고, 양방향 통신이 가능하도록 하였다. 제작된 스마트 헬멧을 이용하여 테스트한 결과 관제센터에서 현장 정보를 수신할 수 있었고, 현장 산불진화대원과 소통을 할 수 있었다. 현장 평가와 사용자 평가를 통해 스마트 헬멧의 개선이 필요함을 확인하였다. 개발된 스마트 헬멧은 산림재해 및 산림산업에 다양하게 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

승조원의 만족도를 고려한 함정의 함내소음 기준 분석 (Study of the Indoor Noise Limit for Naval Vessels Considering the Satisfaction of the Crew)

  • The indoor noise of the naval vessel is very important considering hearing protection, improvement of working environment and easily communication between crews. When the environment of the naval vessel suffering from the noise is considered, it is very important to be quiet in the living area where the crews have a rest sufficiently. In addition, the noise of the working area should be reduced in order to increase working efficiency. Therefore, in this research, the satisfactions about the indoor noise are survey for crews working in a naval vessel. Through this survey, the relationship between the indoor noise and crew's satisfaction about it can be found. As a result, the limit of sound pressure level which almost all crew can be satisfied with the indoor noise about their living and working area is suggested base on the survey in this research.

  • It has been focused on that the major reasons of aircraft accidents resulted not from human error but from the failure of teamwork or communication in 1980's. Such opinions were suggested in the workshop, so called, "Resource Management on the Flight Deck" by NASA in 1979. The researchers agreed the fact the source of human error was originated from the failure in teamwork, communication or even in leadership of captain. Due to the rapid development of aircraft technologies, the reasons for aircraft accident could be easily found out. According to the analysis results of the technology, most of reasons for the accident might directly be connected not to human error or stick-Rudder skill but to situational awareness, communication, leadership or decision making in the aircraft. This paper has tried to research empirically the satisfaction of flight crews who have gone thorugh CRM training in the commercial airline. Based on the quantitative scale by J. Ford et al. (2014), this paper has proved which characteristics of CRM training has a positive impact on the overall satisfaction of CRM training. It was proven that the teamwork and decision making programs among CRM training have a major effect to the satisfaction level of flight crews.

영국 화물철도운영자(EWS)와 코레일(한국철도공사) 교번근무제도 비교연구 (Comparison study for train crews and pilots operation system between EWS of UK and KORAIL of Korea)

  • KORAIL has been established by 1st January 2005. From organization change to KORAIL(Korea railroad Corporation), labour union and company management team has been argument for their train crews and drivers operation system. For example, train crew and driver working conditions; working hours per week, off day and duty day time, over night time working payment, current position payment, preparation time, company own lodge operation and so on. I assure that this comparison study for train crew and driver operation between KORAIL and EWS will helps to improve other korean railway companies management efficiency. In conclusion, EWS has 4$\sim$6 times more efficient employee for active operation than KORAIL per 1 freight brock-train operation. EWS has very resonable train crews and driver operation system, and self-control regulation for employee and management team with trusty. This thesis propose that korean railway companies and their own labour unions need joint research and benchmarking other oversea railway companies as like EWS.

항공사 객실승무원의 조직지원인식과 직무몰입의 관계성 연구: 국내 저비용항공사를 중심으로 (A Study on the Relationship between Cabin Crew's Perceived Organizational Support and Their Work Commitment: Focusing on Low Cost Carrier in Korea)

  • Due to globalization, the air transport industry plays a key role in the global economy. In particular, the air transport industry is highly dependent on human resources, and the capabilities of the cabin crews in managing safety and providing service in a cabin depend on the service quality and the success of the company's human resource management. Therefore, systematic support and interest in competitive key personnel are believed as very important factors. Airlines need to improve the work engagement of airline cabin crew through organizational supportive efforts. Thus this paper surveyed 309 cabin crews who worked at low cost carrier and conducted an empirical analysis based on survey results. The study validates hypotheses pertaining the relationship between organizational identification and job commitment of cabin crew according to the airline's perception of organizational support. The comprehensive analysis reveals that perceived organization support has a significantly positive impact on cabin crews' work engagement.

119 구급대에 의해 이송된 환자들 중 직접적 의료지도가 필요한 범위와 그에 따른 수요 추정 (Indications and Estimations of the Needs for Direct Medical Control in the Patients Transported by 119 Rescuers)

  • 응급의료체계에서의 의료지도는 필수적인 요소로 인정되어지고 있다. 응급의료에관한법률에 의해서도 응급구조사에 의한 응급처치 시 의사의 지도를 필수적인 것으로 규정하고 있다. 그러나 법에서 정하는 응급처치의 범위 외에 119 구급대에서조차 의료지도가 필요한 상황에 대한 구체적인 기준이 마련되어 있지 않고 지도의사의 자격이나 역할, 책임과 권리 등에 대한 구체적인 내용이 없어 소방에서 2004년 1월부터 서울 119에서 서울종합방제센터에 지도의사를 두고 직접적 의료지도를 담당하고 있으나 그 이용이 활성화되어 있지 못하다. 이에 서울종합방재센터의 의료지도 사례를 바탕으로 의사의 직접적 의료지도가 필요한 범위를 설정하고 이를 토대로 의료지도의 수요를 추정하여 의료지도체계를 확립하는데 필수적인 자료를 제공하고자 이 연구를 시행하였다. 이에 2004년 11월 한 달 동안 서울종합방재센터 의료지도실에 의뢰되어진 의료지도 793건을 사례집단으로 직접적 의료지도가 필요한 기준의 타당성을 검증한 결과 직접적 의료지도가 필요한 기준으로 환자의 상태에 따른 조건, 응급처치에 따른 조건과 사고의 종류에 따른 조건으로 구분하여 각 항목의 직접적 의료지도 필요는 비정상적인 의식상태, 산소투여 등 6가지 응급처치를 시행한 경우, 교통사고 등 4가지 손상기전과 분만이 직접적 의료지도가 필요한 환자의 조건으로 설정되었고 서울 소방의 전체 구급대 이송환자 중 직접적 의료지도가 필요하다고 판단되는 환자는 45.9%에 달했다. 직접적 의료지도를 받아야 할 경우로 판단되었으나 실제 의료지도가 의뢰된 경우는 4.6%였다. 따라서 이상적인 직접적 의료지도 체계는 응급의학과 의사 등의 지도의사를 확보하고 각 응급의료기관과의 의사소통과정을 통해 구급대의 문제점을 개선하고 향상시키는 교육과 정책이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

산불진화대원용 안전장갑에 대한 성능평가 기준 연구 (A Study on Performance Evaluation Criteria for Safty Gloves for Forest Firefighting Crews)

  • 산불진화대원의 안전 확보와 작업능률 향상을 위해 안전장갑에 대한 성능평가 기준을 개발하였다. 산불진화대원용 안전장갑에 대한 기준이 현재 국내에 없기 때문에 한국소방산업기술원(KFI)에서 운용중인 소방대원용 안전장갑에 대한 기준을 기초로 하여 연구를 시작하였다. 관계자 의견 수렴 및 외국 기준의 검토를 통하여 17개 시험항목 중 5개 시험항목을 제외하고 12개 시험항목을 선정하였다. 시료는 산불진화대원들이 사용하고 있는 2 종류의 일반 안전장갑과 하나의 소방대원용 장갑에 대해 KFI 기준을 적용하여 시험하고 그 결과를 비교하였다. 시험 결과 불에 약한 나일론이나 폴리우레탄 등의 재질은 산불진화대원용 안전장갑에 적합하지 않음을 확인하였다. KFI 기준과 ISO 16073, NFPA 1977, NFPA 1971 및 BS EN 659의 판정기준을 비교하여 우리나라 산불진화대원들의 작업 환경에 적합한 12개 시험항목과 판정기준들을 최종 선정하였다.

  • In maned ship, crews may have risks as they manage damage control system in IPMS in damage situations such as fire in a ship. So the application of unmaned autonomous systms can reduce the number of boarding crews and attribute to safe marine transportation. The paper suggests an intelligent system of the fire fighting control using fuzzy logic in Integrated Platform Management System which can take measures against fire situation of a ship excluding unnecessary warnings with undamaged situations. The system here detected the fire more accurately and adopted more appropriate measures according to ship status compared with conventional systems. Of all, a reduction of false detection of fires was noted.

  • Many problems related to airline business belong to large-scale optimization problems, so that it is expected that the state-of-art optimization techniques are widely applied to making the airline operation effective and competitive. This paper introduces the concepts and mathematical models of various optimization problems in airline system. Airlines involve many activities that utilize airline resources such as aircrafts and crews to make profit. We view the airline activities in the planning and operational aspects. In the planning viewpoint, we discuss the flight schedule design problem that impacts on passenger demand directly. For aircraft and crews, we deal with fleet assignment, aircraft routing, crew pairing optimization, and crew assignment problem. In the operational viewpoint, we concern schedule recovery problems for aircrafts and crew using the method of reassigning available resources when airlines face with the unexpected situations.

Shipboard Secret Electronic Voting System for Information and Communication Technology-isolated Ocean Crews

  • The sailors on seagoing ships experience much difficulty in communicating with their families, friends or associates ashore due to communication cost or technical difficulties so that they are sometimes unable to adapt to the rapid social changes promptly. This is mainly the result of an insufficient Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-environment on their ships. To surmount such a problem, an electronic shipboard voting system that guarantees the publicness and absolute secrecy in voting process has been proposed in this paper. The system not only helps crews to catch up with up-to-date news and provides them a feeling that they are being connected to the everyday lives of the outside world, but also allows them to cast their votes based on the newly acquired information (e.g., current political or economic situations in their respective regions and etc.).
