Alloy 690 증기발생기 전열관 재료의 크리프 거동 평가 (Evaluation of Creep Behaviors of Alloy 690 Steam Generator Tubing Material)

  • In recent years, attention has been paid to the integrity of steam generator (SG) tubes due to severe accident and beyond design basis accident conditions. In these transient conditions, steam generator tubes may be damaged by high temperature and pressure, which might result in a risk of fission products being released to the environment due to the failure. Alloy 690 which has increased the Cr content has been replaced for the SG tube due to its high corrosion resistance against stress corrosion cracking (SCC). However, there is lack of research on the high temperature creep rupture and life prediction model of Alloy 690. In this study, creep test was performed to estimate the high temperature creep rupture life of Alloy 690 using tube specimens. Based on manufacturer's creep data and creep test results performed in this study, creep life prediction was carried out using the Larson-Miller (LM) Parameter, Orr-Sherby-Dorn (OSD) parameter, Manson-Haford (MH) parameter, and Wilshire's approach. And a hyperbolic sine (sinh) function to determine master curves in LM, OSD and MH parameter methods was used for improving the creep life estimation of Alloy 690 material.

  • 본 연구에서는 이들보다 매우 간단한 IS법, 즉 초기 변형률법(ISM: initial strain method)에 의한 크리프 수명예측식을 고안하여, 현재 화력발전용 고압 로터강 에 사용되고 있는 1%Cr-Mo-V강과 발전소 효율향상을 위해 최근 국내최초로 개발된 12% Cr강에 대하여 도출하였고, 이 도출식이 앞에서 언급한 여러 파라메트에 의한 결과와 비교 평가하여 장시간 강도 및 수명예측식으로 사용될 수 있음을 입증하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 우선 1차적으로 한국중공업에서 제조한 실제의 터어빈 회전자 축에서 시편을 채취하여 화력발전소 터어빈의 작동 온도에서의 크리이프 거동을 실험 하고, Larson-Miller 법 및 Orr-sherby-Dorn 법에 의하여 수명을 예상하엿으며 열처리 조건의 변화에 따른 크리이프 특성 변화를 고찰하였다.

  • Power plant Piping operating at elevated temperature often fails prematurely by the growth of microcracks under creep conditions. Therefore, the life assessment of high temperature components that contain cracks is an important technological problem. The mechanisms of crack growth in simple metals and alloys have been investigated using both mechanical and microstructural approaches. In this study, life prediction accounting for creep, crack growth and thermal stress is analyzed.

  • Titanium alloy has widely been used as material for automotive parts because it has high specific strength. It is also light and harmless to human body. But, we have little design data about the creep behaviors of the alloy. Therefore, in this study, creep tests under four constant stress conditions have been conducted with low different temperature conditions. A series of creep tests had been performed to get the basic design data and life prediction of titanium products and we have gotten the fallowing results. First, the stress exponents decrease as the test temperatures increased. Secondly, the creep activation energy gradually decrease as the stresses became bigger. Thirdly, the constant of Larson-Miller parameter on this alloy was estimated as about 7.5. And for the last, the fractographs at the creep rupture showed the ductile fracture due to the intergranullar rupture.

  • In this 1st report, the relationship between pure creep properties and initial strain was studied and also its acoustic emission test was performed during creep test at 500, 600 and $700^{\circ}C$. And the applicability of the acoustic emission technique was investigated to analyze the quantitive relationship between all the pure properties (creep strength, creep repture time or creep life, steady state creep rate, total creep rate, creep strain, total creep strain, etc.) and the initial strains as well as to analyze AE properties during the pure creep loading condition.

  • This paper presents results from creep and shrinkage tests performed on different High Strength Concrete (HSC) mixes (with compressive strengths up to 90 MPa). Results were compared with those from various Code prediction models. The effects of pozzolanic materials on the creep and shrinkage were also investigated. Results show that while fly ash increases the compressive creep of concrete, silica fume decreases it. Moreover, current creep and shrinkage prediction models need to be revised for the HSC mixture.

  • 이 논문에서는 고강도 콘크리트의 크리프 특성에 관한 연구로서 실험을 통해 얻어진 결과를 여러 크리프 예측식과 비교하여 기술하였다. 따라서 고강도 콘크리트의 크리프 특성을 규명하기 위해 1종 시멘트로 제작된 대상 콘크리트에 대해 ACI-209 및 CEB/FIP-90의 크리프 예측식에 의한 결과와 비교 검토하여 크리프 예측식의 적용 가능성을 검토하였다.
