Purpose - Civil affairs are increasing in various forms, but civil servants who are able to handle them want to reduce the complaints and provide keywords that will help in the future due to their lack of time. While various ideas are presented and implemented as policies in solving civil affairs, there are many cases that are not policies that people can sympathize with. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the complaints accurately and to present correct solutions to the analyzed civil complaint data. Research design, data, and methodology - We analyzed the complaints data for the last three years and found out how to solve the problems of Yongin City and alleviate the burdens of civil servants. To do this, the Hadoop platform and Design Thinking process were reviewed, and proposed a new process to fuse it. The big data analysis stage focuses on civil complaints - Civil data extraction - Civil data analysis - Categorization of the year by keywords analyzing them and the needs of citizens were identified. In the forecast analysis for deriving insights, - The case of innovation case study - Idea derivation - Idea evaluation - Prototyping - Case analysis stage used. Results - Through this, a creative idea of providing free transportation cards to solve the major issues of construction, apartment, installation, and vehicle problems was discovered. There is a specific problem of how to provide these services to certain areas, but there is a pressing need for a policy that can contribute as much as it can to the citizens who are suffering from various problems at this moment. Conclusions - In the past, there were many cases in which free traffic cards were issued mainly to the elderly or disabled. In other countries, foreign residents of other area visit the areas for accommodation, and may give out free transportation cards as well. In this case, the local government will be able to set up a framework to present with a win-win scenario in various ways. It is necessary to reorganize the process in future studies so that the actual solution will be adopted, reduce civil complaints, help establish policies in the future, and be applied in other cities as well.

The purpose of this study is to derive the characteristics of the creative process of convergence performing arts. Therefore, the PADAF-Play and Dance Art Festival, a representative convergence performing arts festival in Korea that has been held steadily every year since the first event in 2011, was selected as the subject of the study. Through PADAF, a representative convergence performing arts festival in Korea, qualitative case studies were selected through process-oriented discovery to study the characteristics of the creative process of convergence performing arts, which is a key feature of performing arts in the 21st century. For realistic and empirical research, the 8th and 9th PADAF participated in the entire process from the initial stage of preparation to the closing ceremony and conducted several in-depth interviews with PADAF officials and participating artists. Looking at the characteristics of the convergence performance art creation process through PADAF, creators overcame difficulties that they had not thought of in different ways in the process of meeting different heterogeneous genres, but through understanding other genres, experiential values through convergence, sharing as collaborators, and various ways of communication. The characteristics of the convergence performing arts creation process, which is focused on PADAF, are "Rhizom thinking" by French philosopher Gilles Deleuze(1925-1995), "Collective intelligence," and "Experimental Value for Experimental Creation" by creators. Through this derivation, we will help the changing performing arts scene based on the basic human desire to understand convergence performance art a little more and communicate through the extended expression of convergence.

The purpose of this study at gifted students' solving ability of the given study task by using all knowledge and tools which encompass mathematical contents and curriculums, and developing the teaching learning materials of gifted students in accordance with their level which tan enhance their mathematical thinking ability and develop creative idea. With these considerations in mind, this paper sought for the standard and procedures of teaching learning materials development according to the levels for the education of the mathematically gifted students. presented the procedure model of material development, produced teaching learning methods according to levels in the task of figurate number, and developed prototypes and examples of teaching learning materials for the mathematically gifted students. Based on the prototype of teaching learning materials for the gifted students in mathematics in accordance with their level, this research developed the materials for students and materials for teachers, and performed the modification and complement of material through the field application and verification. It confirmed various solving processes and mathematical thinking levels by analyzing the figurate number tasks. This result will contribute to solving the study task by using all knowledge and tools of mathematical contents and curriculums that encompass various mathematically gifted students, and provide the direction of the learning contents and teaching learning materials which can promote the development of mathematically gifted students.

This study focuses on the landscape architect Jung YoungSun to examine Korean landscaping. To do so, the research focuses on the artist's thoughts, her and Seoan's works, and related discourse (landscape architects, landscape works, and landscape discourse) up to 2014. Research was conducted through interviews (with Jung and related people), a literature survey, and the analysis of design works. As a result, four inflection points of Jung's landscape architecture career emerged, from the time she was introduced to landscape architecture, trained in it, and entered into practice, to the time she operated an independent office, showing different design trends and the depth of design thinking. In this process, excluding the early learning period, Jung's landscapes were categorized into three categories: contemporary landscapes, gardens, and traditional landscapes. Through these three categories of landscaping activities, Jung's achievements include the importation and internalization of modern landscapes (modern landscape theory), the establishment of her own garden theory and its practice (garden theory), and overcoming of tradition complexes and creative succession (traditional landscape theory). In sum, Jung's landscapes can be summarized as the practice of regionalists and auteurist thinking.
The 1990s' characteristics of Ecological architectural design would be choosing the traditional materials of the region's, the creative usage of construction methods, the expressive properties of materiality in spatial forms and so on. The overall organic relationships between human and men-made environments have been sublimated by the expression of poetic qualities of perception in ecological man-made environment. Hannover Expo 2000 did set up an opportunity to exposure the fact that Ecological Architecture will be the major trend in 21st Century's Architecture and its exploration in possible ways will be the most important matter. Japanese Architect Shigeru Ban's Japan Pavilion in this Exposition has shown the meaning of this turning point in Ecological Architectural thinking, which would be recognized as the convincing possibilities for the future architectural practice to the public. Thus this research has the purpose to study the meaning of the constructing action in Shigeru Ban's recent architectural space-making practice with the Paper Tube structural system. The creative foundation of Shigeru Ban's own method to apply paper tube -that is impossible material to pre-estimate- and other materials in the creation of architectural spaces would be searched in this paper. The period to this research will be between 1990s and 2000s, and the subject will be the experimental architecture of Shigeru Ban. The range of this research Is including the process of development in the paper tube architectural structure and joint system. This study would contribute to understand the intrinsic value of Shigeru Ban's Ecological architecture of the paper tube system, in which the relationship between the regional environment and human regaining the ecological abiogenesis.

The Ministry of Education gives increasing weight to ICT-in education to produce creative and positive people in response to the demands of the 21st century's Information Age. The use of ICT in teaching-learning process aims largely to facilitate the creative thinking and diverse learning activities of students to help achieve learning objectives. The purpose of this study was to sort out what's available for teaching- learning activities from among Edunet contents for teacher and to assist teachers to have easier access to them, as ICT-in education gains in importance. And it's found that this attempt would serve to make Edunet more accessible even to teachers who are not acquainted with ICT, and learning effectiveness would be greater by integrating well- organized and well-selected ICT-in education into academic education. Furthermore, this would enable teachers to have better computer skills and teach students with more confidence.

The purpose of this study is to analyze middle and high school technology teachers' recognition and educational need about engineering education. For this, we surveyed secondary school technology teachers. The result of this study is as follow. First, most technology teachers perceive that engineering contents are lack in technology education, therefore they recognize the needs of reinforcement of engineering contents. Second, most technology teachers perceive that present technology subject does not give positive affect to students for their own career selection on engineering field. Furthermore, they perceive that if it contained the contents of engineering in technology education, students would experience creative design and problem solving process. Third, most technology teachers perceive that they are able to teach engineering in technology education and they need the change of national curriculum and the development of engineering program contents. Fourth, they perceive that the 7~9 grade is the best grade to start to study engineering in elementary and secondary school. Fifth, they perceive that 'design', 'problem solving' and 'creative thinking' are the priority of educational needs of teaching ability and knowledge about engineering. Sixth, they perceive that the aerospace engineering, the electrical engineering, the electronic engineering, the mechanical engineering, the computer engineering and the environmental engineering are the priority of educational needs of teaching knowledge about engineering fields.

This study was initiated to add value to fashion illustration as a genre of plastic art, as its importance as a progressive visual art is growing. The research purpose is to analyze characteristics of Grotesque, a subculture that emerged from the challenges and problems of groups which deviated from social and cultural trends, and to develop fashion design illustration utilizing the characteristics unique to that subculture. As a method of research, this study examined the characteristics and expression methods of Grotesque, which appeared in fashion literature, referenced a prior study of Grotesque, and developed fashion design illustration using Grotesque as a based. The result of this study are as follows. First, the characteristics of Grotesque that are applicable to fashion illustration were derived as 'evil, aversion, playfulness, heterogeneity, and abnormality'. Second, the expressive elements of Grotesques, reflecting the beauty of ugliness, present a methodology for developing new and creative fashion design illustrations. Third, it was found that Grotesque fashion illustration is a visual tool that is suitable for expressing the problematic origins of human existence, values, alienation, and social chaos. Fourth, 'arthropod' motifs were identified as a suitable theme for extracting the newly integrated Grotesque images through the process of contradiction and confrontation between humans and objects. Fifth, the Grotesque fashion illustrations could be understood in terms of plastic arts, and could provide a gateway to rediscovering human dignity. Based on the finding, we expect that creative design thinking and development that combines the motifs of various themes and Grotesque's expressive methods will proceed more deeply and specifically.
This study investigates Active Learning and Facilitation Convergence Education Program which can improve core competency to cope with vocational education in the fourth industrial revolution era. I applied the integrated advantages of Active Learning which enhances 'problem solving skill' and those of Facilitation for creative thinking idea to application design process coursework and verified the effectiveness of such education method through student satisfaction survey. I also designed application contents for the students who are familiar with the mobile environments and UI contents for data visualization which can help those students to improve their skills in software. Every coursework was conducted as a team project. As a result, Active Learning and Facilitation Convergence Education Program is found to be helpful in improving the basic skills and competencies required in college education. I hope this work helps to reduce the educational gap between industry and professional colleges.
This is a case study of an extra-curricular program that designed and implemented maker education based on design thinking to foster a Christian worldview. The program was designed at K university in the course of 10 sessions as following stages; tinkering, providing a special lecture for motivation, finding issues, empathizing, making, sharing and reflecting. A total of 15 students in 5 teams participated in the program, progressed through each stage in the process of solving the problems they found around them so that their neighbors and the creative world could become better. As a result of operating this program, the participants became concerned about their neighbors and community and reflected on the change of perspective of the world from a Christian worldview. As a suggestion for follow-up research and projects, to develop a model of maker education based on design thinking for cultivating a Christian view of the world is proposed in order to support to easy design and management of the program even if there is a lack of professional related knowledge and experience. In addition, it is needed to develop a manual and guide book including a facilitator's role and an assessment tool like a rubric that can give feedback on the performance of the program and make improvement.
