  • 타워크레인은 최근 증가되고 있는 고층 건축물의 시공에 핵심적인 장비임에도 불구하고, 지난 수십년간 이를 개선하기 위한 연구가 매우 부족하였다. 본 연구는 기존의 T형 타워크레인에 머신비전, RFID 및 GPS 기술 등을 접목한 지능형 타워크레인 개발 Framework을 제시하고, 제시된 Framework의 하위 모듈인 머신비젼 모듈의 프로토타입을 개발하였다. 머신비전 모듈은 CCTV와 LCD 모니터를 이용하여 현장 및 자재관련 멀티미디어 정보를 크레인 운전원과 현장 자업자가 실시간으로 공유학 수 있으므로 작업 생산성과 안전성을 의게 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper is aimed to handle quick work for all the workers and to improve the productivity by adding more effective content in Crane Monitoring System. The contributing proportion of the increase of port productivity is more increasing concerning not only the port industry, but also all the informations of container crane which is the representative equipment by the rapid increase of the volume of freight of port. The basic of rapid service is the improvement of the productivity, the information of operation as to the productivity of crane for the quick handling within yard and especially the informations of breakdown and to handle breakdown as soon as possible has a great effect on the increase of productivity.

  • The design of major industrial facilities for the prevention of fatigue failure is customarily done by defining a set of transients and performing a calculation of cumulative usage factor. However, sometimes, the inherent conservatism or lack of details as well as unanticipated transients in old plant may cause maintenance problems. Even though several famous on-line monitoring and diagnosis systems have been developed world-widely, in this paper, a new system fur fatigue monitoring and life evaluation of crane is proposed to reduce customizing effort and purchasing cost. With regard to the system, at first, comprehensive operating transient data has been acquired at critical locations of crane. The real-time data were classified, by using adaptive resonance theory that is one of typical artificial neural network, into representative stress groups. Then the each classified stress pattern was mapped to calculated cumulative usage factor in accordance with ASME procedure. Thereby, promising results were obtained fur the crane and it is believed that the developed system can be applicable to other major facilities extensively.

  • 산업 현장의 시설물들이 최근 들어 대형화, 고속화되면서 이들을 이동시키는 크레인의 안전운전은 더욱 중요성을 가지게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 카메라 영상을 이용하여 크레인 안전선 내 움직이는 물체를 감지하는 시스템을 구성하였다. 이 시스템은 별도의 장비가 필요 없이 노트북 컴퓨터와 웹켐만으로도 구현이 가능하여 저렴한 비용으로 실시간 적용이 가능하다. 움직이는 물체를 감시하고 검출하는 알고리듬은 차분영상과 영상 미분 히스토그램을 적용하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 조명과 날씨 등의 주변 환경 변화에 강인하도록 시스템을 구축하였다. 시스템의 성능과 정확도를 향상하기 위하여 크레인 영상 프레임의 안전선 내 상황만을 고려하고 그림자 제거 알고리듬을 사용하였다. 또한 본 시스템은 산업현장에 접목이 용이하여 실용적인 측면에서의 가치가 높다.

  • In this paper we show an integrated system of crane maneuvering, crane productivity, terminal operating system, and material handling system, so that the terminal users can have a unified database which enables them to improve the productivity, convenience for users and offer a wide variety of choices resulting in sharing information between terminal operating companies and efficient management of national key harbor industries.

  • This paper presents a fault detection asnd isolation algorithm for highly reliable gantry crane system. The algorithm is constructed by multiple PI observer technique, and the magnitude of actuator fault can be estimated by using integrated estimated output error. Also, the complex actuator and /or sensor fault can be detected and isolated by monitoring the integrated error and the estimated state error. Considering the actuator and/or the sensor fault, we verify that these fault can be detected and isolated through simulation. Lastly, we show a simple reliable control method by using the detected fault signal and an added observer.

  • The wire rope of container crane is a important component to container transfer system and is used in a myriad of various applications such as elevator, mine hoist, construction machinery, and so on. If it happen wire rope failures in operating, it may lead to the safety accident and economic loss, which is productivity decline, competitive decline of container terminal, etc. To solve this problem, we developed the active and portable wire rope fault detecting system. The developed system consists of three parts that are the fault detecting, signal processing, and remote monitoring part. All detected signal has external noise or disturbance according to circumstances. Therefore we applied to discrete wavelet transform to extract a signal from noisy data that was used filter. As experimental result, we can reduce the expense for container terminal because of extension of exchange period of wire rope for container crane and this system is possible to apply in several fields to use wire rope.
