The test results of this study are as follows for each hypothesis: 1. Among the work stress sensing factors, role ambiguity showed correlation to the active coping strategy and the passive coping strategy, whereas it did not have any correlation to the evasive reation. However, the physical resource environmental factor showed correlation to the active coping strategy, whereas it did not have any correlation to the other reation. 2. The passive coping strategy, among the work stress coping strategies, influences the role ambiguity, B type, work ambiguity, physical resource environmental factor by about 18.7%. 3. The active coping strategy, among the work stress coping strategies, influences the social support, role ambiguity, work place of health center factor by about 18.9%. 4. The evasive reaction, among the work stress coping strategies, was influenced by only the 36 years old over factor by approximately 4.2%. 5. It was found in all work stress sensing factors that the group with lower social support had a more degree of experiencing stress than the group with higher social support. In case of the behavior pattern, the type A experienced more stress than the type B only in role ambiguity. 6. It was found that the group with the higher social support tended to choose more active coping strategy than the lower social support. There are 5 conflict-coping types of husbands and wives which can be distinguished from each other by attitudes based on partners' answers. Women's conflict-coping types are : compromisors passives apathetics attackers and blamers. Men's conflict-coping types are : reasoners passives jubeniles attackers and volatiles. Each type of husband and wife affects their marital satisfaction. All married coulpes are categorized again by the index of withdraw/demand. As result there is a difference among 3 groups : resoner-husbadn/ any type of wife demand-husband/ withdraw-wife and demand-husband/ demand-wife. In other words when a husband is resoner-husband regardless of the type of wife their marital satisfaction is the highest. And the demand-husband / withdraw-wife type shows a more positive effect on marital satisfaction than the demand-husband/ demand-wife type.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the type of ego states and stress coping style on female college students who are in the course of nursing study. This study is performed in the view of Transactional Analysis and designed to scrutinize descriptive correlations between the type of ego states and stress coping style. The subject is consists of 144 freshmen and sophomore, 138 junior and senior students group, who are students of K nursing college located in Seoul. The sampling investigation period is on Sept. 14, 2002 to Oct. 26, 2002. The measuring instrument used for Transactional Analysis ego state is 50 items Ego-gram research paper devised by Dusay(1997). For studying coping style, Folkman & Lazarus's measurement(1984) was adopted, which is translated and modified by Han, and Oh,(1990). Statistic average and standard deviation were generated by using SPSS PC+, t-test and Pearson correlation. The results were as follows: 1) In the type of ego states on both groups(lower group : freshmen, sophomore upper group : junior, senior) indicated the arithmetic apex NP(maximum value), then the point A was high and the data made a down slope to point AC. In the comparison to type of ego states between two groups, only at point CP, the data value of upper year students represented higher than that of lower year ones by C(t=2.28, p=.023). In the psychological energy level of ego states, both groups indicated average level.2) Stress coping style of whole students were highly and affirmatively dedicated to research. Consecutive consequences follow like this(high to low) : the central point of problem, search for social support, hopeful aspect and indifference. Especially hopeful aspect(t=.67, p=.05), relaxation of tension(t=-2.16, p=.03) made significant difference each other in the view of arithmetic calculation 3) While verifying coping style in terms of ego states level between lower and upper students group, In type CP, high level ego states group indicated significant difference on stress coping style area than low leveled group and made such sequences as the central point of problem, hopeful aspect, search for social support, positive interest and relaxation of tension. In type NP, sequences such as the central point of problem, search for social support, positive interest and relaxation of tension were emerged with little differences. In type A, the central point of problem, positive interest and relaxation of tension. In type FC, hopeful aspect, search for social support, positive interest and relaxation of tension. In type AC, hopeful aspect and indifference were derived significantly different(p<.05). 4) In the aspect of relation between ego states and coping style, type CP presented the central point of problem and relaxation of tension, type NP presented positive interest, search for social support and the central point of problem, type A showed the central point of problem, positive interest and relaxation of tension, type FC showed relaxation of tension, positive interest, search for social support, indifference and the central point of problem, type AC showed hopeful aspect, indifference and the central point of problem. All the sequence shown above had high-to-low procedure and represented static relations each other(p<.05).

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to compare the accuracy of the implant master cast according to the type (pick-up, transfer) and the length (long, short) of the impression copings. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The metal master cast was fabricated with three internal connection type implant analogs (Osstem GS III analog), embedded parallel and with $10^{\circ}$ of mesial angulation to the center analog. Four types of impression coping were prepared with different combinations of types (transfer, pick-up) and lengths (long, short) of the coping. The impressions were made using vinyl polysiloxane (one step, heavy + light body) with an individual tray, and 10 impressions were made for each group. Eventually, 40 experimental casts were produced. Then, the difference in the distance between the master cast and the experimental cast were measured, and the error rate was determined. The analysis of variance was performed using the SPSS (v 12.0) program (${\alpha}$= .05), and the statistical significance was set at P < .05. RESULTS. The ANOVA showed that the pick-up type impression coping exhibited a significantly lower error rate than the transfer type. However, no significant difference was observed with respect to the length of the impression coping. Additionally, no significant difference was observed between the parallel and mesial angulated groups. CONCLUSION. Within the limitations of this study, the pick-up type impression coping exhibited a more accurate implant master cast than the transfer type in parallel group. The accuracy of the implant master cast did not differ for different lengths of impression coping of at least 11 mm. Additionally, the accuracy of the implant cast was not different for the parallel and $10^{\circ}$ mesial angulated groups.
