봉쇄문제를 축소한 비봉쇄 이단계 완료규약 (Non-Blocking Two Phase Commit Protocol Reducing the Blocking Problem)

  • 원자성 완료규약 분산트랜잭션을 규약에 참여하는 사이트에 일관되게 종료할 수 있게 한다. 사이트 나 통신의 고장에도 불구하고 참여자들이 트랜잭션을 정확하게 종료할 수 있다면 이것은 봉쇄문제를 제거한 규약이라 한다. 2PC 규약은 봉쇄 규약으로 유명하고, 반면에 3PC 규약은 봉쇄문제를 해결한 규약으로 알려졌다. 본 논문에서 제안된 봉쇄 해결 규약보다 봉쇄문제를 축소한 NB-2PC 규약을 제안한다. NB-2-PC 규약은 2PC 규약과 3PC규약을 변형한 규약이다. NB-2PC 규약은 선출단계에서 참여자들이 조정자에게 Prepare 메세지를 받으면, 조정자와 여러 참여자들에게 응답 메세지를 보낸다. 참여자들은 결정 메세지를 기다리다 조정자의 고장으로 인해 봉쇄 문제가 발생하면 Prepare 메세지를 보낸 참여자들 중에서 새로운 조정자를 선출한다. 참여자는 종료규약을 수행하여 봉쇄문제를 줄인다. 본 논문에서는 NB-2PC 규약의 기본적인 구조와 종료규약, 새로운 조정자 선출 방법을 제안한다. 또한 실험을 통하여 NB-2PC 규약이 3PC 규약보다 완료규약 수행시간이 우수하다는 것을 보인다.

  • 본 논문은 ZigBee Sensor Network에서 네트워크를 구성할 때 이미 네트워크에 참여한 Coordinator와 Router가 네트워크의 상태에 따라 새로운 디바이스들이 네트워크에 참여하는 것을 제어하여 기존 네트워크에서 발생할 수 있는 단점들을 해결하기 위한 조인 절차를 제안하였다. 기존의 네트워크에서 새로운 디바이스가 네트워크에 참여를 위한 조인 절차를 수행할 때 이미 참여하고 있는 Coordinator와 Router beacon 정보를 바탕으로 수행된다. 그러나 beacon 정보에는 네트워크의 구성에 관련된 정보가 부족하여 특정 디바이스에 traffic이 집중되거나, 주소자원의 비효율적 사용으로 네트워크의 성능저하를 가져올 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘은 새로운 디바이스가 네트워크에 참여할 때 이미 네트워크에 참여하고 있는 Coordinator와 Router가 네트워크에서 자신의 위치와 능력에 따라 beacon의 전송시간을 조절하여 beacon을 송신하고, 디바이스는 가장 먼저 수신한 beacon 정보를 바탕으로 네트워크에 참여한다.

What is the Role of Co-coordinator?: From Internship's Experience

  • Graduate Students in engineering at The University of Tokushima can take part in an educational program which is offered long-term internship opportunities (at a company or the government). Onishi, one of authors, took part in this educational program. She is studying environmental conservation at the university and is interested in environmental conservation activities led by residents. Striking a balance between environmental conservation and human economic activities is seen as important to society. However, the continuing in environmental conservation activities is difficult. Therefore, collaborative activities attract attention as a way of the continuing in environmental conservation activities. A person called "co-coordinator" is a key to make many people to participate in the sustainable collaboration activities. The main role of co-coordinator is connecting people who are interested in environmental conservation activities. The purpose of joining in environmental conservation activities is different from person to person depending on where they belong to or where they live. Onishi took part in the educational program to learn the techniques of adjusting the differing interests. She did her internship at environmental consulting company in Kamikatsu town, Tokushima prefecture. She participated in several environmental conservation activities and work experience as a coordinator. Through this experience, she learned not only the technique but also the difficulty of the work. This paper reports the results obtained from her experience.

Task Rescheduling Using a Coordinator in a Structural Decentralized Control of Supervisory Control Systems

  • A problem of task rescheduling using a coordinator in a structural decentralized control of supervisory control theory is formulated. we consider that the overall system is divided into a number of local systems. Using an example of a chemical batch reaction process, it has shown that after local supervisors have been established for a given task, a coordinator can be used to solve some rescheduling problems among local plants for new or modified tasks. The coordination system models the interactions of local plants, and is consisting of only the shared events of local plants, so simpler to synthesize. A coordinator is designed based on the specifications given for the coordination system. Under the 'structural' conditions developed in this paper, the combined concurrent actions of the coordinator with the existing local supervisors will achieve the rescheduling requirements. Again since the conditions are structural (not specification-dependent), once the coordination architecture has been established, it can be used for a number of different tasks without further verifications.

DACUM 기법에 의한 치과코디네이터 실무형 교육과정 개발 (Development of practical curriculum for dental coordinator based on DACUM)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the duties of dental coordinators using the DACUM technique and to develop a practical training course for dental coordinators based on the results. Methods: The curricula for clinic coordinators across 20 educational institutions were analyzed. A board of DACUM specialists was assembled to analyze the role of dental coordinators and to develop a practical curriculum. Results: First, after analysis, we selected 8 duties and 34 tasks that should comprise the role of a dental coordinator, and the number of major tasks was 21. Second, the educational program for dental coordinators developed in this study consisted of a total of 60 hours, including 42 hours of lecture and 18 hours of practice. A pre-requisite curriculum and a final curriculum were developed, and the detailed educational contents and supplies were outlined for each subject. Third, after comparing it with the existing clinic coordinator curricula from 20 educational institutions, the curriculum based on DACUM contained 11 additional fields. Conclusions: This study developed a more specialized, detailed, and practical dental coordinator curriculum based on DACUM. It is expected that more dental coordinators could be trained more professionally with this curriculum, and it could lead to further improvement of the curriculum.

  • 선택과목의 수가 많은 학부제에서는 교육과정의 제작과 관리에 관련된 업무를 담당하고 학생들에게 조언을 해 주는 코스 코디네이터의 역할이 매우 중요하지만, 학생들은 코스 코디네이터를 통해 자신에게 가장 적합한 분야는 무엇이고 어떠한 과목을 이수해야 하는 지에 대한 도움을 받기가 쉽지 않다. 본 논문은 표준 무선인터넷 플랫폼 규격인 WIPI에 기반을 두고, 전공 분야의 심화된 학습을 할 수 있도록 수강할 과목의 선택에 대해 조언하는 기능을 가지는 모바일 코스 코디네이터 시스템을 제안한다. 모바일 코스 코디네이터 시스템은 학생들에게 조언을 해 주는 코스 코디네이터의 역할을 보조하여, 학생들이 개인 휴대폰을 이용하여 수강신청에 관한 학사정보를 관리할 수 있고, 시스템의 추론에 따른 추천 과목을 수강하여 전공 분야에 대한 깊은 지식을 갖출 수 있도록 도와줄 것이다.

국제의료관광코디네이터 자격시험에 대한 의료관광 담당자들의 인식 연구 (Research of Awareness of the People in Charge of Medical Tour Regarding the Qualifying Examination of International Medical Tour Coordinator)

  • This research seeks opinions and development plan in forceful measures of qualifying examinations analyzing awareness of people in charge of medical tour about the qualifying examination system of international medical tour coordinator. The result of research shows the relatively positive awareness towards the qualifying examination and its system of international medical tour coordinator. Regarding the examination subjects, score about the necessity of subject where medical professionalism is considered marked high(4.01). About whether they would take the test or not, there was careful difference in the awareness of examination system(0.019) and operation method(0.004.). For the qualifying examination to be settled and thus to reinforce the professionalism, it is considered essential to have improvement in the problems of treatment towards acquisitors of certificate and awareness of field regarding the certificate, and review of supplementary subject aimed at the reinforcement of medical professionalism in terms of examination subjects.

  • The purpose of this study is to give meaningful information about the coordination process in the construction of cooperative housing, hoping that the interest in this type of housing would spread wide in Korea. The Seongmisan village, a representative urban community village in Seoul, was studied in this study on the opinion coordination between residents and coordinators. For this qualitative research, 2 residents and 2 coordinators answered the 'open questionnaires' on the prior basic planning, land purchase, financing, architectural planning, construction & inspection, and the actual life thereafter. Following is the result. 1) The residents, in almost every step from the prior basic planning to the construction, had no sufficient information or knowledge especially in the legal or financial aspects. It explains why the coordinator has to participate in every step educating residents by means of the workshop or debate with professionals. 2) The construction cost was the most debated topic, which means that the cost has to be accurately projected by the coordinator. The confidence and success of the project stems from the accurate projection and transparent management of the construction cost.

A Design of Cooperation Coordinator using Band-Cloud

  • The Internet of Things(IoT) market is expected to grow from 15.5billion to 75.4 billion by 2015-2025. As the number of IoT devices increases, the amount of data that is sent to the cloud is increasing. Today's Cloud Computing models are not suited to handle the vast amount of data generated by IoT devices. In this paper, we propose a Cooperation Coordinator System that reduces server load and improved real-time processing capability under specific circumstances by using Band-Cloud. The cooperation coordinator system dynamically forms the cloud when cooperation is needed between mobile devices located near. It is called Band-Cloud. Band-Cloud provides services entrusted by Central Cloud. This paper describes the proposed system and shows the cooperation process using the Android-based mobile devices and Wi-Fi Direct technology. Such a system can be applied to cases where real-time processing is required in a narrow area such as a hospital ward or a school classroom.

이동 데이터베이스체계에서 거래처리 기법의 성능 (Performance of Transaction Processing Schemes in Mobile Database Systems)

  • 이동 데이터베이스 체계에서 거래처리 기법은 정적 조정자에 의한 거래처리와 조정자 이주에 의한 거래처리 기법이 있다. 조정자 이주에 의한 거래처리 기법은 거래서비스 통화채널 변경이 이루어졌을 경우에 새로운 데이터베이스 서버에서 그 거래를 계속 처리해야한다는 조정자 이주 원리를 적용하는 것이고 조정자 정착에 의한 거래처리 기법은 거래서비스 통화채널 변경이 이루어졌을 경우라 할 지라도 그 거래를 시작한 데이터베이스 서버에 의하여 처리해야 한다는 정적 조정자 원리를 적용하는 것이다. 본 논문에서 이동 거래처리 기법들의 공정한 성능 비교연구를 위하여 기법들과 독립적인 성능모델을 개발하였다. 그리고 이동 거래처리 기법의 성능 모델을 자세히 설명하였고 성능평가의 신뢰성을 위하여 얻어진 모의실험 결과를 자세히 설명하였다. 결국, 이동 거래처리 기법들은 데이터베이스 서버에서 거래처리를 위한 메시지 이동을 최소화함으로서 시스템 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.
