This research focuses on the development of upcycled denim fashion designs, whichis a more specific category within general upcycled fashion design. Characteristics of upcycled fashion design, which has been identified previously by researchers, include the following traits: environmentality, uniqueness, aesthetic appeal, availability, convertibility, and deconstructivity. The expression principles include recycling, substitution, recombination, and reduction. The result of the analysis of the denim fashion design characteristics, which is based on the theoretical analysis, has found. The external expression pattern consists of the deconstruction and reconstitution of materials, the avant-garde style and convertibility, the ability to mix and match materials and techniques, the production of zero waste, and the use of layering. The expression techniques used included decomposition, depaysement, weaving, cut-off, collage, assemblage, overlapping, connecting, attaching, and stitching. The inner meanings were identified as economicality through recycling, convertibility through rearranging, and the rarity and value of hand-made products. The result of the research applying the identified characteristics are as follows. First, developing and creating designs using modified denim and sub-materials with various expression patterns and techniques could provide completely new images unlike existing denim products. Second, modifying the details while maintaining the basic format of denim clothing could provide unique and new possibilities for upcycled denim fashion design. Third, environment-friendly models with creative designs were developed by recycling used denim materials. This reduced waste and energy while maximizing the use of resources. This study expects contribute to upcycled fashion design research by recognizing the unique characteristics and value of denim material.
The present work explores the potential of wet air oxidation (WAO) for pretreatment of mixed lignocellulosic biomass to enhance enzymatic convertibility. Rice husk and wheat straw mixture (1:1 mass ratio) was used as a model mixed lignocellulosic biomass. Post-WAO treatment, cellulose recovery in the solid fraction was in the range of 86% to 99%, accompanied by a significant increase in enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose present in the solid fraction. The highest enzymatic conversion efficiency, 63% (by weight), was achieved for the mixed biomass pretreated at $195^{\circ}C$, 5 bar, 10 minutes compared to only 19% in the untreated biomass. The pretreatment under the aforesaid condition also facilitated 52% lignin removal and 67% hemicellulose solubilization. A statistical design of experiments on WAO process conditions was conducted to understand the effect of process parameters on pretreatment, and the predicted responses were found to be in close agreement with the experimental data. Enzymatic hydrolysis experiments with WAO liquid fraction as diluent showed favorable results with sugar enhancement up to $10.4gL^{-1}$.
Let A be an n$\times$n (0,1) matrix. Let f(A) denote the smallest nonnegative integer k such that per A[$\alpha$|$\beta$]>0 and A($\alpha$|$\beta$) is permutation equivalent to a lower triangular matrix for some $\alpha$, $\beta$$\in$Q\ulcorner,\ulcorner. In this case f(A) is called the feedback number of A. In this paper, feedback numbers of some maximal convertible (0,1) matrices are studied.

Integral imaging is an attractive three-dimensional display technique providing full-parallax full-color three-dimensional images in real-time without any viewing aids. In this paper, we present the recent progress on the three-dimensional display based on integral imaging focusing on its depth and viewing angle enhancement and the three-dimension/twodimension convertibility.
As a preliminary work for the clothing conformity study, Its theoretical backgrounds were reviewed. In the view of convertibility into clothing conformity, two prevailing conformity types were studied. One is normative-social influence and informational-social influence classified by Deutsch and Gerald. And the other is Kelman's classification which includes compliance, identification and internalization. Reference group, as an object of conformity, was studied. In addition to Engel and Blackwell' s and Assael's classification, the reference groups which were revealed in the studies of consumer behavior and clothing behavior were reviewed. The factors were reviewed which influence conformity and clothing conformity. They were product factor, group factor, situational factor and individual factor.

This paper is to develop metadata format for eBook document standard at Korea. Metadata formats of OEBF, JepaX and AAP were compared and analyzed on the criteria such as purpose, basic elements, characteristics, compatibility, extensibility and convertibility. EBKS metadata format based on Dublin Core was developed in terms of easy to use, resources descriptions and discovery, extensibility and compatibility between other metadata formats such as MARC and Dublin Core. Finally, research and revision direction of the eBook document standard were proposed for the future study.
The writer discusses the necessity of clear distinction between transliteration and transcription. Romanization problems in Korea have been entangled for decades by confusing and mixing those two. For the transliteration of Hanngul a new system with the utmost simplicity and perfect convertibility is suggested here. For the transcription of Korean sounds another system is suggested which can transcribe even the chroneme as well as all the phonemes. So it surpasses the current Hanngul orthography. Korean sentences containing many pairs of homographic heteronyms are romanized in the two ways side by side for the contrasting of the two systems.

Convertible authenticated encryption (CAE) schemes enable the signer to send a confidential message and its corresponding signature to the designated recipient. The recipient can also convert the signature into a conventional one which can be verified by anyone. Integrating the properties of self-certified public key systems, this paper presents efficient and computationally indistinguishable self-certified CAE schemes for strengthening the security of E-Commerce applications. Additionally, we also adapt the proposed schemes to elliptic curve systems for facilitating the applications of limited computing power and insufficient storage space. The proposed schemes are secure against known existential active attacks, satisfy the semantic security requirement, and have the following advantages: (i) No extra certificate is required since the tasks of authenticating the public key and verifying the signature can be simultaneously carried out within one step, which helps reducing computation efforts and communication overheads. (ii) In case of a later dispute, the recipient can convert the signature into an ordinary one for the public arbitration. (iii) The signature conversion can be solely performed by the recipient without additional computation efforts or communication overheads. (iv) The recipient of the signature can prove himself, if needed, to anyone that he is actually the designated recipient.
Wearable computer focuses on functional aspects of fashion to respond to and satisfy needs for daily availability of ubiquitous environment owing to ever-developing digital technologies. The purpose of this study is to examine in possible developmental direction of wearable computer and thereby explore more promising directions of wearable computer to enhance its adaptability to future advanced ubiquitous environment and also satisfy both esthetical and functional needs. Now the wearable computer can be classified broadly into 3 types in the aspect of functionality, i.e. computer containing 'integratability', 'convertibility' and 'interactability'. Beyond simple portability concepts based on digital devices attached on body, it will be necessary that follow-up studies on wearable computer satisfy needs for enhanced digital functionality to comply with ubiquitous environment as well as emotional needs inherent in clothing. It is expected that possibility of future wearable computer will be extended via collaborative relationships between design and functionality, and should be implemented through possible points of contact among computer, telecommunication, design and fashion. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that follow-up researches and developments for wearable computer to meet both functionality and esthetical values in the aspect of 'fashion design combined with electronic products' will help assure the variety of fashion designs for wearable computer contributing to better life quality of human in future ubiquitous environment.

LED lighting control system using unidirectional DMX512 (digital multiplex with 512 pieces of information)) protocol has been the most popular. Nowadays, the user's consumption has been upgrading to the more intelligent system but the upgrading process does not affect the existing infrastructure. There were many researches use the additional communication for the feedback communication way such as WiFi, Controller Area Network (CAN), Power Line Communication (PLC), etc but all researches had inherent disadvantages that created the independent feedback with the existing DMX512 system. Our paper represents the novel method that uses the remote device management (RDM) protocol to associate the additional feedback with existent DMX512 infrastructure in the one system. The data in DMX512 frame sending to the DMX512 client is split and repacked to become the RDM packet. This RDM packet is transferred to the RDM monitor console and the response RDM packet is converted to the DMX512 frame for control DMX512 client devices. This is the closed loop control model which uses the bidirectional convertibility between RDM packet and DMX512 frame. The proposed method not only upgrades the feedback control function for the old DMX512 system without changing the existent infrastructure, but also solves compatible problems between new RDM devices and old DMX512 devices and gives the low cost solution for extending DMX512 universe.
