전환사채의 투자효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Investment Effect of Convertible Bond)

  • 본 연구는 투자자 입장에서 전환사채(CB)의 투자효과가 어느 정도 인지를 규명하고 효율적인 투자방안을 투자자들에게 제시하는 것이 연구목적이다. 연구방법은 2015년부터 2020년 6월까지 발행한 CB에 대한 표면이자율, 만기이자율, 채권만기일, 전환가격, 전환일 등을 조사한 후, 전환일 이후 일별주가변동과 연결하여 CB에 대한 투자효율성 및 주식전환효과가 어느 정도인지를 파악하였다. 연구 결과, 전환가격초과일수비율이 전환 가능한 날짜의 1/4 정도에 불과하여 CB의 투자효율성은 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 전환일수익률은 평균 -6.3%, 만기일수익률은 평균 -5.2%여서 평균적으로 마이너스 수익률을 보여 투자자 기대와 다르게 투자효과가 산출되었다. 전환일수익률이 마이너스인 종목수가 플러스인 종목수 보다 2.4배, 만기일수익률이 마이너스인 종목수가 플러스인 종목수 보다 3.7배 많아서 CB의 주식전환 기대 수익률은 낮은 것으로 분석되었다.

Performance of Column Type Bioreactor Packed with Immobilized Cyclodextrin Glucanotransferase for Cyclodextrin Production

  • Performance of column type bioreactor packed with immobilized cyclodextrin glucanotransferase (CGTase) on chitosan and Amberite IRA 900 was evaluated for cyclodextrin(CD) production. For CGTase immobilized on chitosan, the maximum CD conversion yield of 42% was achieved at the range of 88-168 units of immobilizied CGTase per gram of chitosan, retention time of 0.3 hr, and from 5.0% (w/v) of partially cyclized soluble starch. On the other hand, for CGTase immobilized on Amberite IRA 900, the maximum conversion yield of 40% was obtained at the range of 3.6-11.0 units of immobilized CGTase per gram of carrier and retention time of 1.2 hr from 5.0% of substrate. Above CD conversion yields are almost identical level with that can be obtained with soluble CGTase of 47%. The productivities of bioreactor packed with immobilized CGTase were 17.0g of CD/lㆍhr for amberite IRA 900 and 15.5g of CD/lㆍhr for chitosan. The partially cyclized starch with soluble CGTase were more suitable as substrate to achieve better CD conversion yield, and 5% (w/v) of partially cyclized soluble starch containing 10% (w/w) of CD was found to be most suitable to obtain maximum CD conversion yield.

Saccharomyces cerevisiae에 발현된 재조합 cyclodextrin glucanotransferase의 생화학적 특성 (Biochemical Properties of Recombinant Cyclodextrin Glucanotransferase Expressed in Saccharomyces cerevisiae)

  • The cyclodextrin glucanotransferase(CGTase) gene of Bacillus macerans was expressed in Saccharomyces cerevisiae and the recombinant CGTase was partially purified from the yeast culture supernatant. The optimal pH and temperature of the CGTase were found to be 6.0 and 5$0^{\circ}C$, respectively. The pH and temperature stabilities of the recombinant enzyme were significantly enhanced and the half life at 55$^{\circ}C$ was about 60 hr. When the recombinant CGTase was reacted with 5% soluble starch, the conversion yield of total cyclodextrin (CD) from starch was estimated to be 41% at 48 hr, whereas the wild type enzyme showed the yield of 12%. This improvement of conversion yield and thermal stability of CGTase may be useful for the development of low-cost CD production process.

  • The two-stage enzyme reactor, packed with cyclodextrin glucanotransferase (CGTase) immobilized on Amberite IRA 900, coupled with ultrafiltration membrane was investigated for continuous production of cyclodextrin (CD). 5% (w/v) of soluble starch was partially cyclized, in the 0.1 l first-stage immobilized enzyme reactor, up to CD conversion yield of 10% (w/w) at retention time of 0.56hr and 1.5 units of immobilized CGTase/1g of carrier. In the second stage main immobilized enzyme reactor capacity of 1.5 l, the maximum CD conversion yield of 39% (w/v) was achieved at retention time of 2.8hr and 0.47 unit of CGTase/1 g of carrier. Unreacted residual dextrin was fractionated with ultrafiltration membrane, and then, recycled into the second-stage main bioreactor to increase the CD conversion yield. The most suitable membrane size and the volume concentration ratio (concentrate: filterate) for recycling of unreacted residual dextrin were found to be 5K dalton and 4:6, respectively. CD conversion yield was increased about 3~4% upon co-immobilization of pulluanase along with CGTase. Spent Amberite IRA 900 can be reutilized consecutively more than 3 times for immobilization of CGTase after regeneration.

논의 밭전환 연차간 우분시용에 의한 질소공급 및 밭사료 작물의 생산력 변화 (Changes of Soil Nitrogen Supply and Production of Upland Forage Crops by Cattle Manure during Conversion from Paddy to Upland Condition in Paddy Field)

  • 2002년부터 2004년까지 수원의 작물과학원 논포장을 년차간 순차적으로 밭으로 전환하고 또 밭상태에서 우분을 누적투 입하면서 호밀과 옥수수의 윤작을 통하여 질소와 관련된 토양 특성, 작물의 건물수량 및 질소흡수량을 조사하였는데, 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 논의 밭전환 1년차에는 밭사료작물, 특히 답리작 호밀의 생육과 수량이 현저히 감소하였으며, 그에 따라 우분시용에 의한 무기태질소 등 양분의 이용효율도 현저히 감소하였다. 그러나 전환년차의 증가와 함께 밭사료작물의 수량과 질소흡수량이 증가하였는데, 특히 밭상태에서 전환3년차까지 우분의 누적투입은 토양에의 무기태 질소공급과 더불어 옥수수의 수량, 질소흡수량 및 우분질소 이용률을 계속적으로 증가시켰다. 그 증가는 전환년차 증가에 따른 논토양 자체의 질소공급보다는 주로 우분시용에 의한 토양물리성 개선, 토양탄소 및 무기화 가능한 지력질소(가급태질소) 증가 등 지력증진에 크게 기인하였다. 따라서 전환밭에서 정상적인 밭사료작물의 수량을 얻기 위해서는 전환2년 이상의 기간이 필요하였으며, 이때 우분의 투입은 토양에 무기태질소 공급뿐만아니라 토양유기물 등 지력증진에도 효과적이었으며, 또한 그것이 누적적으로 투입될 때 그 효과가 증가되는 것으로 나타났다.

Conversion of Glucose and Xylose to 5-Hydroxymethyl furfural, Furfural, and Levulinic Acid Using Ethanol Organosolv Pretreatment under Various Conditions

  • The objective of this study was to understand the conversion characteristics of glucose and xylose using the major monosaccharide standards for lignocellulosic biomass. The acid-catalyzed organosolv pretreatment conducted using ethanol was significantly different from the acid-catalyzed process conducted in an aqueous medium. 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF), levulinic acid and furfural were produced from glucose conversion. The maximum yield of 5-HMF was 5.5%, at 200℃, when 0.5% sulfuric acid was used. The maximum yield of levulinic acid was 21.5%, at 220℃, when 1.0% sulfuric acid was used. Furfural was produced from xylose conversion and under 0.5% sulfuric acid, furfural reached the maximum yield 48.5% at 210℃. Ethyl levulinate and methyl levulinate were also formed from the glucose standard following the esterification reaction conducted under conditions of the combined conversion method, which proceeded under both ethanol-rich and water-rich conditions.

CB(전환사채)의 투자효율성에 관한 실증연구 (A Study on the Investment Efficiency of CB(Convertible Bond))

  • CB(전환사채)는 주식전환권을 행사한 이후부터는 채권이 아닌 주식으로 변한다는 점에서 채권과 주식의 성격을 갖고 있는 메자닌 증권이다. 본 연구는 투자자 입장에서 CB의 투자효율성 정도를 실증규명하고 효율적인 투자방안을 제시하는 것이 연구목적이다. 연구방법은 CB종목별로 표면이자율, 만기이자율, 채권만기일, 전환가격, 전환청구일 등을 조사한 후, 전환청구일 이후 발행회사의 일별 주가변동과 연결하여 CB에 대한 투자의 효율성과 CB의 주식전환효과가 어느 정도인지를 계량적으로 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 전환가격초과일수비율이 전환 가능한 날짜의 1/4 정도에 불과하여 투자효율성은 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 전환일수익률은 평균 -6.3%, 만기일수익률은 평균 -5.2%여서 평균적으로 minus 수익률을 보여 투자자 기대와 다르게 산출되었다. 전환일수익률이 minus인 종목수가 plus인 종목수보다 2.4배 많았으며, 만기일수익률이 minus인 종목수가 plus인 종목수보다 3.7배 많아서 CB의 주식전환 기대수익률은 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 연구기여도는 CB의 기대수익률이 높지 않다는 문제점을 도출하였고, 투자자 입장에서 CB를 매입할 때 유의사항을 정립한 데 있다.

질소원의 종류 및 초기 당농도가 곰팡이 Thraustochytrium aureum ATCC 34304의 성장 및 발효 특성에 미치는 영향

  • The effects of initial sugar concentration and the various nitrogen sources on the fermentation characteristics of Thraustochytrium aureum were investigated. The sugar conversion ratios decrease with increase in the initial sugar concentration regardless of the kinds of nitrogen sources. The specific growth rate, the biomass yield, and the DHA yield also decreased but approached constant values higher than the concentration of 30g/L. The sugar conversion ratios and the specific growth rate showed the highest values in case of using the yeast extract as nitrogen source. It was difficult to conclude that the variation of nitrogen source had some effects on the biomass yield. However, the initial sugar concentration had a rather effects on the biomass yield for the sugar concentration of 40 g/L showed 0.27. The nitrogen source that showed the greatest yield of DHA was sodium glutamate.

극저온냉동기 예냉 수소액화기의 기초설계 (Basic design of hydrogen liquefier precooled by cryogenic refirgerator)

  • A thermodynamic cycle analysis is performed for refrigerator-precooled Linde-Hampson hydrogen liquefiers, including catalysts for the ortho-to-para(o-p) conversion. three different configurations of the liquefying system, depending upon the method of the o-p conversion, are selected for the analysis. After some simple and justifiable models are introduced, a general analysis program to predict the liquid yield and the figure of merit(FOM) is developed with incorporating the commercial computer code for the hydrogen properties. The discussion is focused on the effect of the two primary design parameters-the precooling temperature and the high pressrure of hydrogen. When the precooling temperature is in the range between 45 and 60 K, the optimal high pressure for the maximal liquid yield is found to be in the range between 100 to 140 bar, regardless of the o-p conversion. However, the FOM can be maximized at slightly smaller values of high pressures. It is remarkable to observe that the lower precooling temperatures are favorable since both the liquid yield and the FOM can be obtained without compressing hygrogen to extremely high pressures.

When the precooling temperature is in a range between 45 and 60 K, the optimal high pressure for the maximal liquid yield is found to be about 100 to 140 bar, regardless of the ortho-to-para conversion. However, the FOM can be maximized at slightly lower high pressures, 75 to 130 bar. It is concluded that the good performance of the precooling refrigerator is significant in the liquefiers, because at low precooling temperatures high values of the liquid yield and the FOM can be achieved without compression of gas to a very high pressure.
