실린더 압력을 이용한 SI엔진의 페루프 점화시기 제어에 관한 연구 (SI Engine Closed-loop Spark Advance Control Using Cylinder Pressure)

  • The introduction of inexpensive cylinder pressure sensors provides new opportunities for precise engine control. This paper presents a control strategy of spark advance based upon cylinder pressure of spark ignition engines. A location of peak pressure(LPP) is the major parameter for controlling the spark timing, and also the UP is estimated, using a multi-layer feedforward neural network, which needs only five pressure sensor output voltage samples at -40˚, -20˚, 0˚, 20˚, 40˚ after top dead center. The neural network plays an important role in mitigating the A/D conversion load of an electronic engine controller by increasing the sampling interval from 10 crank angle(CA) to 20˚ CA. A proposed control algorithm does not need a sensor calibration and pegging(bias calculation) procedure because the neural network estimates the UP from the raw sensor output voltage. The estimated LPP can be regarded as a good index for combustion phasing, and can also be used as an MBT control parameter. The feasibility of this methodology is closely examined through steady and transient engine operations to control individual cylinder spark advance. The experimental results have revealed a favorable agreement of individual cylinder optimal combustion phasing.

  • CANDU형 원자력 발전소에서의 유도방출한도를 계산하기 위한 전산 코드 DRL이 개발되었다. DRL 코드에서의 유도방출한도는 CANDU형 원자력 발전소가 정상 가동될 때의 기체 및 액체 방출물에 포함된 방사성 핵종의 방출 허용 기준을 설정하기 위한 것이다. 본 전산 코드는 CSA Standard N288.1-M87에서 권고하고 있는 방법 및 다수 매개 변수를 이용하였고, 월성 원자력 발전소를 대상으로 유도방출한도를 결정하는데 이용되었다.

Maximizing Network Utilization in IEEE 802.21 Assisted Vertical Handover over Wireless Heterogeneous Networks

  • In heterogeneous wireless networks supporting multi-access services, selecting the best network from among the possible heterogeneous connections and providing seamless service during handover for a higher Quality of Services (QoSs) is a big challenge. Thus, we need an intelligent vertical handover (VHO) decision using suitable network parameters. In the conventional VHOs, various network parameters (i.e., signal strength, bandwidth, dropping probability, monetary cost of service, and power consumption) have been used to measure network status and select the preferred network. Because of various parameter features defined in each wireless/mobile network, the parameter conversion between different networks is required for a handover decision. Therefore, the handover process is highly complex and the selection of parameters is always an issue. In this paper, we present how to maximize network utilization as more than one target network exists during VHO. Also, we show how network parameters can be imbedded into IEEE 802.21-based signaling procedures to provide seamless connectivity during a handover. The network simulation showed that QoS-effective target network selection could be achieved by choosing the suitable parameters from Layers 1 and 2 in each candidate network.

개선된 가상의 전송선로 모델의 오차 연구 (A Study on the Errors for the Improved Version of the Virtual Transmission-Line Model)

  • 개방단말 동축선 프로브법은 측정매질에 가공없이 접촉하여 매질의 전기적인 특성을 측정할 수 있는 효과적인 방법이다. 프로브 단말면에서 측정된 임의의 매질의 반사계수는 등가모델에 의해 복소 유전율로 환산되는데 본 실험실에서는 이미 개선된 가상의 전송선로 모델을 제안한 바 있다. 그런데 이 등가모델에 의해 환산된 복소 유전율은 주파수가 올라갈수록 오차가 증가하였다. 개방단말 동축선 프로브법에서의 복소 유전율 오차는 프로브의 불완전 접촉, 프로브의 제자 오차 등과 같은 여러 가지 원인에 의해 복합적으로 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 반사계수를 FDTD(Finite-Difference Time-Domain) 기법으로 수치 계산하여 반사계수 측정 시 발생할 수 있는 여러 오차를 제거하여, 오차의 원인을 환산모델의 문제로 제한시켰다. 그리고 환산모델에 의한 오차의 발생 여부를 여러 각도에서 연구하였다. 첫 번째고 반복법으로 계산된 환산모델의 변수에 대한 local minimum을 확인하였다. 두 번째로는 사용 주파수 범위에서 등가 모델의 모델링 여부를 확인하였다. 이러한 연구로부터 현재 사용하는 개선된 가상의 전송선로 모델의 사용범위를 알 수 있다.

폭염 하에서 음수 내 비타민 C와 트리메칠글리신 공급이 오리의 혈액 매개변수 및 생산성에 미치는 효과 (Effects of drinking water containing trimethyl glycine or ascorbic acid on growth performance and blood parameter in ducks under scorching heat wave)

  • The objective of this study was to determine the effect of drinking water containing trimethyl glycine or ascorbic acid on growth performance and blood parameter profiles of duck exposed to scorching heat stress. A total of 480 ducks were randomly assigned to the following eight experiment groups for 42 days : control group C with general water, treatment group 1 (T1) with drinking water containing 100 ppm ascorbic acid, treatment group 2 (T2) with drinking water containing 200 ppm ascorbic acid, treatment group 3 (T3) with drinking water containing 300 ppm ascorbic acid, treatment group 4 (T4) with drinking water containing 400 ppm trimethyl glycine, treatment group 5 (T5) with drinking water containing 800 ppm trimethyl glycine, treatment group 6 (T6) with drinking water containing 1,200 ppm trimethyl glycine, treatment group 7 (T7) with electrolytes of KCl (0.5%) + $NaHCO_3$ (1.0%)+NaCl (0.5%). Our results revealed that the body weights and feed intakes of treatment groups, especially T3 and T6, were increased compared to the control group, where as the feed conversion ratios of treatment groups were decreased (p<0.05). Blood levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, LDL-C, glucose, AST, ALT and pH in treatment groups were lower compared to those in the control group (p<0.05). Blood levels of red blood cell, platelets profiles, electrolyte and gas in treatment groups were higher compared to those of the control group (p<0.05).

3변수를 이용한 지적공부의 세계측지계 변환 연구 (A Study on the World Geodetic System Transformation of Cadastral Record Using by Three parameters)

  • 지적공부의 세계측지계 변환은 토지소유자의 재산권 보호와 직접적인 관련이 있기 때문에 좌표변환에 따른 공부상의 경계와 면적변화를 최소화할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 하지만 일반적으로 수학적인 변환식을 이용한 좌표변환은 지적도면의 형상을 변환 전 후에 정확하게 유지하기는 매우 어렵다. 현재 지적재조사 사업의 좌표변환 모델은 Helmert 변환방식에 의한 4개 변수를 이용하고 있으며 이중 축척계수는 동일 필지내에 경계점 간 상대적인 위치의 변화와 면적변동에 가장 민감한 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 경계점 좌표등록지역 지적공부의 세계측지계 좌표변환 시 토지소유권과 관련이 있는 경계점에 대한 오차를 공차 범위 내에 유지시키면서 면적의 변화가 없도록 축척계수를 고정할 수 있도록 Helmert 변환식을 응용한 3변수변환 방법을 제시하였다.

XLPE 케이블 절연체에서의 가지형 전기트리 성장에 따른 부분방전 위상 특성 연구 (A Study on the Partial Discharge Phase Properties with Branch Type Eleotrical Tree Growth in XLPE Cable Insulation)

  • In order to improve the reliability of XLPE cables, it is necessary to find the useful diagnostic parameter according to long term aging. This paper described the change of partial discharge(PD) phase Properties of XLPE cable insulation with branch type electrical tree degradation. for long term aging. To understand the PD Properties with $\phi$ -q-n distributed shape of XLPE insulation, specimens were prepared by 22.9㎸ distribution cable and made in a type of block(16${\times}$16${\times}$3[mm]). Ogura needles having tip radius of l0${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ were inserted into each block pieces. The measuring system was consisted of PD detector, digitizer for digital conversion, VXI system for signal processing. The PD properties of the specimens were measured from initiation of tree to breakdown and their characteristics were analyzed. We analyzed the relationship between electrical properties(PD Quantity, PD initiation angle, PD extinction angle, PD occurrence angle : (PD extinction angle - PD initiation angle)) and the normalized aging rate. We found PD parameter, PD initiation angle and occurrence angle, which are a useful diagnostic parameter in estimating the branch type electrical tree for XLPE insulation condition.

Analysis and Control Parameter Estimation of a Tubular Linear Motor with Halbach and Radial Magnet Array

  • In the machine tool industry, direct drive linear motor technology is an interesting means to achieve high acceleration, and to increase reliability. This paper analyzes and compares the characteristics of a tubular linear motor with Halbach and radial magnet array, respectively. First, the governing equations are established analytically in terms of the magnetic vector potential and two dimensional cylindrical coordinate systems. Then, we derive magnetic field solutions due to the PMs and the currents. Motor thrust, flux linkage and back emf are also derived. The results are shown to be in good conformity with those obtained from the commonly used finite element method. Finally, control parameters are obtained from analytical solutions.

  • Characteristic of partial oxidation of methane using arc-jet plasma by AC power is investigated. Arc-jet reactor used in this work is slightly modified from typical arc jet reactor so that it can make and sustain stable state of plasma. Methane conversion, selectivity of chemicals such as hydrogen and hydrocarbon materials in the product are analyzed. Parametric approach on the performance of the reactor or detail on the partial oxidation process is carried with $O_2/C$ ratio as parameter. In addition to the results, SED and arc length is changed to understand the effect of current-voltage correlation on the reforming performance and relative role of thermal process.

  • A study on experimental method of the model test for the impulse turbine is carried out. the wave simulator is used to reproduce the real wave condition. It controls two parameter correspond to wave height and wave frequency. The optimum design which is reported by T. Setoguchi is manufactured and tested for the validation of our test facilities. The comparison of model test show that our facilities produce little bit higher efficiency at maximum efficiency point. To increase the efficiency of turbine, the new rotor with negative tip clearance is designed and being tested.
