  • In this paper, we consider various types of convergence theorems of Choquet integral. We also show that the autocontinuity of finite fuzzy measure is equivalent to a convergence theorem with respect to convergence in measure.

  • This paper introduces the statistical convergence concepts of double sequences of complex uncertain variables: statistical convergence almost surely(a.s.), statistical convergence in measure, statistical convergence in mean, statistical convergence in distribution and statistical convergence uniformly almost surely(u.a.s.).

  • The purpose of this study was to development of the 'convergence motive' scale for interdisciplinary knowledge fusion. Based on results from literature review, this study clarifies a theoretical ground for 'convergence motive'. Initial items to measure this concept were verified by content analysis and then finalized. After a pilot test done with 568 college students, gathered data were analyzed by item selection and exploratory factor analysis to verify their validity. Next, the main test implemented with 1,211 college students was analyzed with exploratory factor analysis using the method for rotation based on maximum likelihood analysis and direct oblimin for validating the final items to measure 'convergence motive'. As a result, the scale for 'convergence motive' consists of 43 items to measure the following four factors: collaboration to identifying and solving problems, challenge of a new perspective, communication for convergence, cohesion for convergence. Construct validity and criterion-related validity were performed at last to check this scale's theoretical construct. In conclusion, this study concluded that the scales for convergence motive could be generalized and applicable to other samples.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of p-distance in a complex uncertain sequence space. By using the concepts of p-distance, we give some theorems of convergence. Also, in a complex uncertain sequence space, we develope some properties on convergence in measure.

  • This study proposes a method to measure software reliability according to software reliability measurement model to measure software reliability. The model presented in this study uses the distribution of Non - Homogeneous Poisson Process and presents a measure of the software reliability of the presented model. As a method to select a suitable software reliability growth model according to the presented model, we have studied a method of proposing an appropriate software reliability function by calculating the mean square error according to the estimated value of the reliability function according to the software failure data. In this study, we propose a reliability function to measure the software quality and suggest a method to select the software reliability function from the viewpoint of minimizing the error of the estimation value by applying the failure data.

  • Recently, Zhang et al.(Fuzzy Sets and Systems 147(2004) 475-485) proved Fatou's lemma and Lebesgue dominated convergence theorem under some conditions of fuzzy measure. In this note, we show that these conditions of fuzzy measure is essential to prove Fatou's lemma and Lebesgue dominated convergence theorem by examples

  • In this paper, we use the Patterson-Sullivan measure and results of [H] to show that for a nonelementary discrete group of divergence type, the conical limit set .LAMBDA.$_{c}$ has positive Patterson-Sullivan measure. The definition of the Patterson-Sullivan measure for groups of divergence type is reviewed in section 2. The Patterson-Sullivan measure can also be defined for groups of convergence type and the details for that case can be found in [N]. Necessary definitions and results from [H] are given in section 3, and in section 4, we prove our main result.t.
