  • This study aims to analyze whether facilities linked to the inside and outside of the station affect the revitalization of commercial spaces inside the station where individual rental stores are clustered. Rent, which can replace sales, was set as the determining factor for revitalization. In addition to the variables related to sales, culture, office work/residential, public institutions, and transportation facilities, the independent variables were the number of daily passengers, which is a location factor of the station, and the product sales business, which accounts for the largest number of industries in the commercial space inside the station. As a result of regression analysis, it was proved that rent has an effect on product sales business, linked sales facilities, transportation facilities, and the number of passengers on board. These results indicate that the formation of sales products that can increase purchasing power and the direction of facility linkage that can increase the inflow population into the station are needed to revitalize commercial spaces in the station. In this study, the establishment of a living-friendly SOC for residents' convenience daily life was suggested as a policy management plan for stations with a high vacancy rate due to reduced vitalization.

  • The purposes of this study were as follows. First is to compare the importance of operational factors to determine types of school breakfast program, and second is to do the preference analysis of operation-related people depending on the attributes and levels of the operation of school breakfast program. The questionnaires developed for this study were distributed to 134 school dietitians, 114 school foodservice officials at the educational board, 68 staff members of foodservice contractors and 493 parents. Statistical data analyses were performed using SPSS/WIN 12.0 for descriptive statistics and conjoint analysis. The conjoint design was applied to evaluate the hypothetical foodservice types. According to the analysis on the attributes and levels of the school breakfast operation, the relative importance of each attribute was as followsprice (36.30%), menu (29.60%), foodservice staff (22.54%), serving type (11.55%) to school dietitians, price (34.99%), menu (28.15%), foodservice staff (23.52%), serving type (13.35%) to school foodservice officials at the educational board, menu (30.55%), price (30.24%), foodservice staff (28.75%), serving type (10.47%) to staff members of foodservice contractors and price (36.34%), menu (29.73%), foodservice staff (21.01%), serving type (12.92%) to parents. The results of the conjoint analysis indicated that the school dietitians and school foodservice officials at the educational board preferred the school breakfast operation program with 3 traditional menus and 2 convenience menus per 5 day, $1{\sim}3$ foodservice staff, with a price range of $1501{\sim}2000won$, and tray serving. Staff members of foodservice contractors preferred the school breakfast operation program with 3 traditional menus and 2 convenience menus per 5 day, $1{\sim}3$ foodservice staff, with a price range of $2501{\sim}3000won$, and tray serving. Parents preferred the school breakfast operation with 5 traditional menus per 5 day, $6{\sim}7$ foodservice staff, with a price range of $2501{\sim}3000won$, and tray serving. About a half of school dietitians considered that elementary schools were appropriate for the suggested school breakfast operation program. But, 68.2% of school foodservice officials at the educational board, 69.1% of staff members of foodservice contractors, and 38.1% of parents considered high schools to be the suitable model. Therefore, it indicated the need to recognize the different opinions among breakfast operation-related people and take these factors into consideration in developing the school breakfast program.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine social networking service (SNS) use and recommended information utilization (SURU) according to the food-related lifestyles (FRLs) of consumers and analyze how the interaction between the FRL and SURU affects the practice of eating alone and visiting restaurants. Methods: Data on 4,624 adults in their 20s to 50s were collected from the 2021 Consumer Behavior Survey for Food. Statistical methods included factor analysis, K-means cluster analysis, the complex samples general linear model, the complex samples Rao-Scott χ2 test, and the general linear model. Results: The following three factors were extracted from the FRL data: Convenience pursuit, rational consumption pursuit, and gastronomy pursuit, and the subjects were classified into three groups, namely the rational consumption, convenient gastronomy, and smart gourmet groups. An examination of the difference in SURU according to the FRL showed that the smart gourmet group had the highest score. The result of analyzing the effects of the FRL and SURU on eating alone revealed that both the main effect and the interaction effect were significant (p < 0.01, p < 0.001). The higher the SURU, the higher the frequency of eating alone in the convenience pursuit, and gastronomy pursuit groups. The main and interaction effects of the FRL and SURU on the frequency of eating out were also significant (p < 0.01, p < 0.001). In all the FRL groups, the higher the SURU level, the higher the frequency of visiting restaurants. Specifically, the two groups with convenience and gastronomic tendencies showed a steeper increase. Conclusion: This study provides important basic data for research on consumer behavior related to food SNS, market segmentation of restaurant consumers, and development of marketing strategies using SNS in the future.

Selected variables were the age, education level, and employment status of housewives, ideal number of children, monthly income, plan to give birth, and so on. Using purposive sampling method, five hundred questionnaires were administered and 360 questionnaires were analyzed. In accordance with the questions related to housing values, housing satisfaction of respondents was examined. In order to compare the housing values, preferences, and satisfaction among diverse variables of respondents, mean, t-test, F test, Duncan's multiple range test, $x^2$ test, and factor analysis were used. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, there were significant differences in current housing type, tenure type, and floor area according to housewives' age, education level, monthly income, and plan to give birth. Interestingly, households not having a plan to give birth in the future were living in larger house than the households having a plan to give birth. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with a convenience sample of 100 older adults (mean age: $76.11{\pm}6.35$ years, female: 86.0%). Data were collected from a community senior center through face to face interviews by using instruments including measuring knowledge, perceived threat, self-efficacy, compliance with respiratory infection preventive behaviors. Results: The mean score of knowledge was 7.52 out of 13 in total. The compliance with hand washing with soap was 6.0% for 8 or more times per day. Among the participants, 12.0% adhered to the cough etiquette. Sixty-two older adults (62.0%) didn't use interdental brushes or floss at all. The stepwise linear regression indicated that age and self-efficacy for respiratory infection preventive behaviors were significant factors and explained 24.0% of the compliance with hand washing and the cough etiquette. Education level, cancer diagnosis, and self-efficacy for respiratory infection preventive behaviors were significant predictors of oral hygiene. The factor with the greatest effect was self-efficacy in the two models.
