  • In industrial production-distribution systems, production and purchasing rates, associated inventories, and sales are very critical for the profits of each component in the system. The objective of this study is to investigate an effective information control scheme for a production -distribution system by automatic feedback control techniques. In this work, a dynamic control scheme that has an integrated -error with state-feedback and filtering (ISFF) is proposed as a new algorithm for a dynamic controller. Generalized formulations of the dynamic control are proposed in the continuous-time and discrete-time cases. A methodology for an evaluation of ISFF controller gains using the eigen structure property is presented. When an upper-limit is imposed on the production capability by available factory space and capital equipment, supervisory control is provided to avoid integrator-windup and deterioration of system performance.

  • Advantages of switched reluctance motor(SRM) drives make it an attractive candidate for replacing adjustable speed ac and dc drives in both industrial and consumer applications. Furthermore, a simple, low cost and robust SRM drive can be efficiently operated in the hostile environment of an automobile. Generally, the speed control of SRM has a large step change or large torque reference, the output of its PI controller is often saturated. When this happens, the integral state is not consistent with the SRM input, while may give rise to the windup phenomenon. This paper proposes anti-windup control method for SRM speed control system by hysteresis current controlled asymmetry bridge converter. The experimental results show that the speed response has much improved performance, such as a small overshoot and fast settling time at the acceleration and particulary deceleration period with braking mode.

  • Since it has an advantage of possibility to control using experimentally given coefficient, PID Control is the most widely used method of control in the field of industry. However, since PID controller is not able to reflect the inherent characteristics of individual systems, it needs to be accompanied by additional techniques to supplement. Also, it has disadvantage that it is hard to find a satisfactory coeffi cient when the state of the system's dynamic characteristics and static characteristics are different each other. When the dynamic one shows up, it means the state of system shows a great amount of difference from that of desired such as the moment of beginning control or change of desired state. But, if the state of the system comes close to the desired state, the static characteristics shows up in the system. There are many solutions suggested to overcome problems according to the conversion of two examples of motion shown above. This paper is to confirm PID control's integration ingredient windup phenomenon, and experiment through technique of pre vention of windup actually using PLC(Programmable Logic Co ntroller), and to verify the change in characteristics of control.

  • This paper deals with mathmatical of an induction motor, considering non-linearity in the torque balance equation under closed loop operation with a reference speed. A controller based on Adaptive Nuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) is developed to minimize overshoot and settling time following sudden changes in load torque. The overall system is modeled and simulated using the Matlab/simulink and Fuzzy Logic Toolbox. The advantages of fuzzy logic and neural network based fuzzy logic controller. Required training data the ANFIS controller is generated by simulation of the anti-windup PI controller is eliminated using the ANFIS controller. The transient deviation of the response from the set reference following variation in load torque is found to be negligibly samll along with a desirable reduction in settling time for the ANFIS controller.

  • 항공기, 차량, 유도탄 등과 같은 동적인 플랫폼에서 표적을 추적하기 위해서는 시선을 안정화하는 외부의 추적루프와 내부의 속도 루프를 포함하는 서보 구조가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 내부의 속도 루프인 안정화 루프에 큰 입력 전압이 인가되었을 때 구동기(Actuator) 포화 현상에 의해서 공간 안정화 루프 성능이 나빠지지 않게 와인드업 방지(Anti-windup) 기능을 가진 디지털 비례적분(Proportional Integral, PI) 제어기를 설계한다. 디지털 와인드업 방지 비례적분 제어기는 일반적으로 SISO 시스템 설계를 위한 방법으로 와인드업 방지 기능을 가진 R, S, T 다항식으로 표현되는 입출력 형태의 제어기를 이용하여 설계하였다. 설계된 제어기는 모델링에 의한 시뮬레이션 결과와 실험결과를 통해 성능을 분석하였다.

  • A new algorithm based upon TDC (Time Delay Control) is proposed to improve the robustness of TDC performance in systems where the stick-slip friction is strong. Experiments were performed at the different levels of friction. The reponses of the TDC and the modified TDC were compared each other, and against those of a PID controller with an anti-windup. The results show that the TDC and the modified TDC equally perform better than the PID, and that the modified TDC performs consistently well even with variations in the friction level while the TDC does not.

  • 비례-적분(PI) 제어기 출력이 포화되었을 때, 와인드업(windup) 현상이 나타나게 되는데 이것은 큰 오버슈트 및 느린 응답 특성으로 이어지게 되어 제어기의 성능 저하를 야기한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해서 새로운 방식의 Anti-windup PI제어기를 이용하여 IPMSM 구동에 있어 오버슈트 및 정착 시간 단축과 같은 제어 성능이 개선되었음을 보여준다.

  • Of all known power quality problems, voltage sags provide the largest reason for concern. Sags occurs more frequently than outages and therefore tend to be more costly for industry as modern technical equipment becomes all the more sensitive to the quality and reliability of supply. Therefore we designed for a new model for Voltage Sag compensator, and we will implement Anti-Windup PI Controller with IP Block.

  • The high performance position controller named 'Unified PID Position Controller'is presented in part 1 of this paper. In part 2, we provide smart gain adjustment methods including the freedom utilizations for rare sensitivity toward the system parameter variation and for increasing the stiffness of the system. Owing to the provided gain tuning strategy, the overall system characteristics can be stabilized without over-shoot phenomena when the system parameter is changed in the rate of from 0.5 to 2∼4. Moreover, for the actual feasibility to the industrial fields, a simple butt effective anti-windup strategy prohibiting the integral component of the PID position controller from saturation is presented too. All of the presented algorithms are verified through the experiment works with commercial linear motor.
