One of today's very critical and sensitive accurate accelerometer which can be used higher temperature than $200^{\circ}C$ and corrosive environment, is particularly demanded for automotive engine. Because silicon is a material of large temperature dependent coefficient, and the piezoresistors are isolated with p-n junctions, and its leakage current increase with temperature, the performance of the silicon accelerometer degrades especially after $150^{\circ}C$. In this paper, The temperature characteristic of a accelerometer using silicon on insulator (SOI) structure is studied theoretically, and compared with experimental results. The temperature coefficients of sensitivity and offset voltage (TCS and TCO) are related to some factors such as thermal residual stress, and are expressed numerically. Thermal stress analysis of the accelerometer has also been carried out with the finite-element method(FEM) simulation program ANSYS. TCS of this accelerometer can be reduced to control the impurity concentration of piezoresistors, and TCO is related to factors such as process variation and thermal residual stress on the piezoresistors. In real packaging, The avarage thermal residual stress in the center support structure was estimated at around $3.7{\times}10^4Nm^{-2}^{\circ}C^{-1}$ at sensing resistor. The simulated ${\gamma}_{pT}$ of the center support structure was smaller than one-tenth as compared with that of the surrounding support structure.

The purpose of this study was to compare the apical microleakage in root canal filled with Resilon by methacrylate-based root canal sealer or 2 different self-adhesive resin cements. Seventy single-rooted extracted human teeth were sectioned at the CEJ perpendicular to the long axis of the roots with diamond disk. Canal preparation was performed with crown-down technique using Profile NiTi rotary instruments and GG drill. Each canal was prepared to ISO size 40, .04 taper and 1 mm short from the apex. The prepared roots were randomly divided into 4 experimental groups of 15 roots each and 5 roots each for positive and negative control group. The root canals were filled by lateral condensation as follows. Group 1: Gutta-percha with AH-26, Group 2: Resilon with RealSeal primer & sealer, Group 3: Resilon with Rely-X Unicem, Group 4: Resilon with BisCem. After stored in $37^{\circ}C$, 100% humidity chamber for 7 days, the roots were coated with 2 layers of nail varnish except apical 3 mm. The roots were then immersed in 1% methylene blue dye for 7 days. Apical microleakage was measured by a maximum length of linear dye penetration after roots were separated longitudinally. One way ANOVA and Scheffe's post-hoc test were performed for statistical analysis. Group 1 showed the least apical leakage and there was no statistical significance between Group 2, 3, 4. According to the results, the self adhesive resin cement is possible to use as sealer instead of primer & sealant when root canal filled by Resilon.

This study was designed to investigate effects of pulsed electric field (PEF) treatment on physiological changes of microbial cells, using domestically fabricated pilot scale PEF device. The effect of non-thermal PEF treatment on physiological characteristics of microorganisms was determined by salt resistance, the amount of UV absorbents, cell staining, recovery rate of defected cells, and changes in structure of cell membrane. Salt resistance of Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and Rhodotorula minuta was examined after PEF treatment at 40 kV/cm, 84 pulse, $10{\mu}s$ pulse duration. Approximately $1\;log_{10}$ cell number of viable microorganisms was decreased by addition of salt. PEF treatment significantly increased the amount of UV absorbents at 260 and 280 nm because of leakage from damaged cell membrane by PEF treatment. Although three kinds of microorganisms treated by PEF were difficult to be observed due to their cell membrane damage, untreated cells were clearly observed by a microscope. PEF-treated R. minuta was not stained by methylene blue due to cell membrane defect. When E. coli, B. subtilis and R. minuta were cultured after PEF treatment, they showed 5, 4, and 8 hr longer lag phase, respectively, compared to control, but growth rates were not affected.
Two field cooling tests were conducted to evaluate the cooling characteristic of paddy with a prototype grain cooler. The first test was carried out during summer season in a steel bin with 180.3ton of paddy at Sunchon. And the second test was carried out during harvesting season in a steel bin with 272.2ton of paddy at Ulsan. At the first test, initial paddy temperature of 23.6$^{\circ}C$ was dropped to 14$^{\circ}C$, and initial moisture content of 19.9% was dropped to 19.3% after 52.5 hours of cooling. At the second test, initial paddy temperature of 16.1$^{\circ}C$ dropped to 5.5$^{\circ}C$ after 78.0 hours of cooling. And, at the first test, the average air flow rates of chilled air leaving the grain cooler and penetrating the grain layer were 77.5 ㎥/min and 42.5 ㎥/min, respectively. To prevent leakage of chilled air from plenum chamber of steel bin, which was about 45% of the average air flow rates of chilled air leaving the grain cooler, a proper method was required. The average total power consumption at the first test during summer was 22.1 ㎾ with control of fan damper. At the second test, it was 17.4 ㎾ due to controlling the capacity of compressor with unloading solenoid valve and changing the flow rates of hot refrigerant gas flowing into evaporator and reheater from compressor, resulting in 27% reduction of energy consumption.

The design, construction and performance test of a convenient multi-purpose irradiator is described. A multi-purpose irradiator using Cesium-137 has been developed for studies of low dose radiation effects in biology and for calibration of Thermo Luminescent dosimeter(TLD). During the operation, three rods of radioactive material which are 10cm in length revolve 180 degrees and irradiate biological samples, or TLD, and return to their shielded position, after the programmed time. A programmable Logic Controller(PLC) controls the sequence of operation, interlock, motor rotation and safety system. The rotation speed of biological samples can vary up to 20 RPM. A real time monitoring system was also incorporated to check and control the operation status of the irradiator. The capacity of the irradiation chamber was 4.5 liters. The isodose distribution at arbitrary vertical planes was measured by using film dosimetry. The dose-rate was 0.13 cGy/min in air and 0.11 cGy/min in water equivalent material in the case of Cesium-137. Range of activity was 2 Ci. The homogeneity of dose distribution in the chamber was ${\pm}$7%. The actual radiation level on the surface was within permissible levels. The irradiator had a maximum 0.35 mR/min radiation leakage on its surface.

In this paper, a low-power direct-conversion transmitter based on current-mode operation, which satisfies the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, is proposed and implemented in a $0.13{\mu}m$ CMOS technology. The proposed transmitter consists of DACs, LPFs, variable gain I/Q up-conversion mixer, a divide-by-two circuit with LO buffer, and a drive amplifier. By combining DAC, LPF, and variable gain I/Q up-conversion mixer with a simple current mirror configuration, the transmitter's power consumption is reduced and its linearity is improved. The drive amplifier is a cascode amplifier with gain controls and the 2.4GHz I/Q differential LO signals are generated by a divide-by-two current-mode-logic (CML) circuit with an external 4.8GHz input signal. The implemented transmitter has 30dB of gain control range, 0dBm of maximum transmit output power, 33dBc of local oscillator leakage, and 40dBc of the transmit third harmonic component. The transmitter dissipates 10.2mW from a 1.2V supply and the die area of the transmitter is $1.76mm{\times}1.26mm$.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of various low-viscosity resin systems used as rebonding agents to prevent microleakage at the margins of class I composite resin restorations. Seventy sound human premolars were selected for experiment. Class I cavities were prepared and each cavity was conditioned with a 37% phosphoric acid for 15 sec, rinsed with water for 15 sec, and dried with compressed air. Bonding agent(Scotchbond Multipurpose, 3M Co.) was applied and a hybrid composite resin (Z-100, 3M Co.) was placed using an incremental technic. The excess cured composite resin was carefully removed with Sof-Lex discs(3M Co.) to expose the original margins of the cavity. The following seven groups were established : group 1 was not rebonded and used as control group ; group 2 was rebonded with a Scotchbond Multipurpose(3M Co.) and finished ; group 3 was rebonded with a Fortify(BISCO) and finished ; group 4 was rebonded with a Concise white sealant(3M Co.) and finished ; group 5 was rebonded with a Concise white sealant(3M Co.) and not finished ; group 6 was rebonded with a P&F sealant(BISCO) and finished; group 7 was rebonded with a P&F sealant(BISCO) and not finished. The specimens were then subjected to 500 thermocycles between 5 & 65 with a 10 see dwell time and immersed in 2% methylene blue dye solution for 24 hours and sectioned with low-speed diamond cutter into two part under water condition. The extent of microleakage at rebonded margins was evaluated microscopically and scored for dye penetration according to the following scale : 0=no dye penetration ; 1=dye penetration to half-way along axial wall between enamel surface and DEJ ; 2=dye penetration beyond halfway along axial wall between enamel surface and DEJ ; 3=dye penetration to the full depth of DEJ or beyond DEJ. Selected samples were prepared for SEM observation to determine the depth of penetration of the rebonding agent into the marginal interface. The obtained results were as follows: 1. In the group 2 and 3, which is rebonded with a Scotchbond Multipupose and Fortify, dye penetration score were decreased significantly than that of group 1 (P<0.05), but group 4 and 6 were not statistically different from group 1(P>0.05). 2. There were significant differences between group 4, 6 and group 5, 7 when compared by dye penetration score (P<0.05). 3. In the SEM observation, Scotchbond Multipurpose and Fortify were penetrated within $30-40{\mu}m$ depth of the outermost surface. However, both sealants were failed to penetrate into the debonded interface.
The effect of three polyacetylene compounds. panaxydol. panaxynol and panaxytriol isolated from Korean ginseng on $CCI_4-induced$ lipid peroxidation in vitro and in vivo hepatic microsomal lipid peroxidation were investigated. Lipid peroxide levels both in serum and liver and serum enzyme (GOT. GPT. LDH) activities of normal or $CCI_4-treated$ mice and rats were also determined after administration of polyacetylenes. Hepatic microsomal cytochrome P-450 content and activities of aniline hydroxylase and aminopyrine demethylase were measured after treatment of polyacetylenes with or without carbon tetrachloride. As results. treatment with polyacetylenes to control mice did not influence the levels of lipid peroxides and serum enzyme activities while panaxynol did. Panaxynol itself inhibited liver lipid peroxidation in normal mice. Polyacetylene compounds protected hepatic lipid peroxidation and lowered serum lipid peroxide levels induced by $CCI_4$ Polyacetylenes prevented leakage of LDH to serum but elevated GOT and GPT levels caused by $CCI_4$ were not changed by polyacetylene pretreatment. $CCI_4$ caused losses in the content of cytochrome P-450 and activities of aniline hydroxylase and aminopyrine demethylase. When polyacetylenes were treated without $CCI_4$ panaxydol and panaxynol induced aniline hydroxylase and all three polyacetylenes induced aminopyrine demethylase. Cytochrome P-450 contents were not affected by polyacetylenes. In vitro hepatic microsomal lipid peroxidation was inhibited by polyacetylenes and $DL-{\alpha}-tocopherol$ in a concentration-dependent manner.

As the penetration rate of smartphones increases, the number of malicious codes targeting smartphones is increasing. I 360 Security 's smartphone malware statistics show that malicious code increased 437 percent in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the fourth quarter of 2015. In particular, malicious applications, which are the main means of distributing malicious code on smartphones, are aimed at leakage of user information, data destruction, and money withdrawal. Often, it is operated by an API, which is an interface that allows you to control the functions provided by the operating system or programming language. In this paper, we propose a mechanism to detect malicious application based on the similarity of API pattern in normal application and malicious application by learning pattern of API in application derived from static analysis. In addition, we show a technique for improving the detection rate and detection rate for each label derived by using the corresponding mechanism for the sample data. In particular, in the case of the proposed mechanism, it is possible to detect when the API pattern of the new malicious application is similar to the previously learned patterns at a certain level. Future researches of various features of the application and applying them to this mechanism are expected to be able to detect new malicious applications of anti-malware system.
