The progressive in English is taken to be an operator which takes a non-stative predicate and returns a predicate which denotes a process with a temporal frame around some definite time or event. When, it is combined with a predicate which has a culmination in the event, the sentence means that the culmination has not come yet. So the event denoted by the base predicate is not true at the current time. On the other hand, when it is combined with a predicate which has no culmination in the event, the event denoted by the base predicate is taken to be true. In this paper, this is explained by the semantics of the progressive based on the notion of contributiveness. I propose that a progressive sentence is verified by some subevents which are contributive to the current situation and the progress of the event beyond the threshold level of the event denoted by the base predicate. A sub-situation is contributive if the addition of it to the previous situation is more likely to lead to the whole situation than the previous situation.

The purposes of this study are to figure out the labor and leisure of the rural couples through the analysis of the related literatures and to make some contributive suggestions for the higher quality of rural life. To solve the rural family's problems and to promote welfare reductive method of house work and farm-work active leisure-participation and other psyco-social approach etc. various methods are discussed.

It is well known that a suspension bridge may display certain oscillations under external aerodynamic forces. Under the action of a strong wind, in particular, a narrow and very flexible suspension bridge can undergo dangerous oscillations. So it would be very contributive to determine under what conditions a similar situation cannot occur, and find out safe parameters of the bridge construction. In this paper, we investigate relations between the multiplicity of solutions and nonlinear terms in this suspension bridge equation using critical point theorem and linking theorem.

고객기반 온라인 커뮤니티에서 고객들이 생성하는 정보 자원은 기업의 상품 및 서비스를 개발하는 데에 직접적으로 반영되기도 하며 기업과 고객 사이의 직접적인 상호작용을 촉진하기도 한다. 따라서 최근 고객기반 온라인 커뮤니티의 운영과 지속적인 성장에 대한 기업의 관심이 점차 증가하고 있다. 온라인 커뮤니티의 존속과 성장은 커뮤니티 회원들의 자발적인 기여에 의해 이루어진다. 본 연구는 고객기반 온라인 커뮤니티 사용자들의 기여행위 기저에 존재하는 사회 심리학적인 요인들에 대해 초점을 맞추고, 물리적 세계의 실제 자아와 온라인 공간에서 창조되는 가상 자아 사이의 차이가 익명성과 관련된 심리적 반응 요인들(자율권, 회복, 카타르시스)과 기여행위에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 고찰하였다. 114명의 고객기반 온라인 커뮤니티 사용자로부터 수집된 서베이 자료를 분석한 결과, 실제 자아와 가상 자아의 차이는 개인적 능력을 나타내는 측면과 사회적 능력을 나타내는 부분으로 구별되며, 각각은 지각하는 자율권, 회복에 서로 다른 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자율권, 회복, 카타르시스 각각의 요인들도 기여의 질적인 측면과 양적인 측면에 서로 다른 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 기반으로 이론적, 실무적 함의에 대해 토의하였다.

본고는 <센과 치히로의 행방불명>에 나타난 세계관을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 2장 '존재 왜곡을 치유하는 휴머니즘'에서는 존재의 원형을 회복시키는 데 기여하는 휴머니즘 사상을 논의하였다. 실명(失名) 위기를 맞은 치히로에 대한 하쿠의 사랑, 귀신 세계에 갇힌 엄마 아빠에 대한 치히로의 사랑, 용으로 변하여 고통스러워하는 하쿠에 대한 치히로의 신뢰 등에서 대가를 바라지 않는 휴머니즘을 읽을 수 있었다. 3장 '공생 공존을 지향하는 금욕주의'에서는 공동체 질서에 기여하는 금욕주의를 논의하였다. 돼지로 변한 치히로의 엄마 아빠의 모습, 직원들을 착취하는 유바바의 모습, 보이는 대로 먹어치우는 가오나시의 모습 등은 지나친 욕망의 폐해를 보여준다. 반대로 순진무구한 치히로, 소박한 제니바의 모습에서 금욕주의적 가능성을 읽을 수 있다. 4장 '근대 문명을 반성하는 생명사상'에서는 자본주의의 모순을 반성하는 생명 사상을 논의하였다. 오물신은 근대 문명에 대한 철저한 반성을 촉구하고 있다. 고향인 강을 떠나온 하쿠의 삶 역시 자연과 생명의 소중함을 일깨워준다.

Sandwich shells made of composite materials are the main focus on recent literature parallel to the requirements of industry. They are commonly chosen for the modern engineering applications which require moderate strength to weight ratio without dependence on conventional manufacturing techniques. The investigations on hyperbolic paraboloidal formed sandwich composite shells are limited in the literature contrary to shells that have a number of studies, consisting of doubly curved surfaces, arbitrary boundaries and laminations. Because of the lack of contributive data in the literature, the aim of this study is to present the effects of curvature on hyperbolic paraboloidal formed, layered sandwich composite surfaces that have arbitrary boundary conditions. Analytical solution methodology for the analyses of stresses and deformations is based on Third Order Shear Deformation Theory (TSDT). Double Fourier series, which are specialized for boundary discontinuity, are used to solve highly coupled linear partial differential equations. Numerical solutions showing the effects of shell geometry are presented to provide benchmark results.

This study examined the emergent literacy development of children and the effects of the home literacy environment on it. 861 pairs each-consisting of a mother and a child aged from three to six years old were asked to complete the early literacy parent questionnaire (Boudreau, 2005) and the home literacy environment questionnaire (Park & Kim, 2008). The results showed that : (1) girls achieved higher scores than boys in emergent literacy and its subcategories. (2) there were age differences in all of the subcategories of emergent literacy except the categories of 'orientation toward literacy' and 'phonological awareness'. (3) The study revealed that 'reading books' in the home literacy environment was the most contributive variable in predicting emergent literacy after controlling the age and gender followed by 'literacy learning'

1. Under the current workroom conditions It is very difficult to control the moisture contents of raw materials in season of summer or winter. 2. The moisture absorption of the materials under the contributive conditions showed the efficiency of 65% in relative humidity and temperature of the currant workroom. 3, The results from this study, however , appeared the deviation of moisture content of the products by the order of 0.1% compared to the current deviation of 2.6~2.7%. 4. Equilibrium moisture contents of the tobacco was Inversely proportional to the temperature and directly related to the relative humidity of the workroom. 5. On the basis of the above results , the standard conditions of the workroom obtained from this study considering with the external temperature in winter could reduce energy by 17.4% through 38.4% .

Experimental investigations were conducted to study the forced convection of fully-developed turbulent flow in horizontal equilateral duct fabricated with the same length and equivalent diameter, but different surface roughness pitch ratio(P/e) of 4, 8 and 16 on the one side wall only. The experiments were performed with the hydraulic diameter based Reynolds number ranged from 70,000 to 10,000. The entire bottom wall of the duct was heated uniformly and the other surfaces were thermally insulated. To understand the mechanisms of the heat transfer enhancement, measurements of the heat transfer were done to investigate the contributive factor of heat transfer promotion, namely, the fin effect. And the results were compared with those of previous investigations for similarly configured channels, at which they were roughened by regularly spaced transverse ribs in the rectangular and circular channels.
