  • This study aims to examine the relationship between customer satisfaction and revisit intention according to the selected attributes of dessert cafes in Korea. Additionally, we would like to provide useful data to maintain a continuous competitive advantage by comprehensively reviewing the effective operation of dessert cafes and strategic plans and methods to identify customer needs in the rapidly spreading competitive environment of the domestic dessert restaurant industry in Korea. A qualitative analysis method was applied through a literature review on satisfaction and revisit according to the selected attributes of dessert cafes, and data using theoretical backgrounds obtained through web searches and existing cases. As a result, dessert quality and convenience showed inconsistent results, and coffee quality was found to have a statistically significant positive (+) effect in various data. Moreover, various attributes such as service, image, price, diversity, and service had a significantly positive (+) effect, and satisfaction with dessert cafes also had a significantly positive (+) effect on revisit intention. In conclusion, dessert cafe managers should develop various desires that reflect consumers' tastes and are competitive so that customers can revisit dessert cafes, which requires more in-depth analysis by obtaining a more systematic sample group in the future.

  • The voice recognition has been made continuously. Now, this technology could support even natural language beyond recognition of isolated words. Interests for the voice recognition was boosting after the Siri, I-phone based voice recognition software, was presented in 2010. There are some occasions implemented voice enabled services using Korean voice recognition softwares, but their accuracy isn't accurate enough, because of background noise and lack of control on voice related features. In this paper, we propose a sort of multi-purpose preprocessor to improve this situation. This supports Keyword spotting in the continuous speech in addition to noise filtering function. This should be independent of any voice recognition software and it can extend its functionality to support continuous speech by additionally identifying the pre-predicate and the post-predicate in relative to the spotted keyword. We get validation about noise filter effectiveness, keyword recognition rate, continuous speech recognition rate by experiments.

  • The paper reviews an improved continuous-wave (CW) terahertz (THz) imaging system developed for nondestructive inspection, such as CW-THz quasi-time-domain spectroscopy (QTDS) and interferometry. First, a comparison between CW and pulsed THz imaging systems is reported. The CW-THz imaging system is a simple, fast, compact, and relatively low-cost system. However, it only provides intensity data, without depth and frequency- or time-domain information. The pulsed THz imaging system yields a broader range of information, but it is expensive because of the femtosecond laser. Recently, to overcome the drawbacks of CW-THz imaging systems, many studies have been conducted, including a study on the QTDS system. In this system, an optical delay line is added to the optical arm leading to the detector. Another system studied is a CW-THz interferometric imaging system, which combines the CW-THz imaging system and far-infrared interferometer system. These systems commonly obtain depth information despite the CW-THz system. Reportedly, these systems can be successfully applied to fields where pulsed THz is used. Lastly, the applicability of these systems for nondestructive inspection was confirmed.

  • A decimation chain for multi-standard reconfigurable radios is presented for 900-MHz and 1,900-MHz dual-band cellular standards with a data interpolator based on the Lagrange method for adjusting the variable data rate to a fixed data rate appropriate for each standard. The two proposed configurations are analyzed and compared to provide insight into aliasing and the signal bandwidth by means of a newly introduced measure called interpolation error. The average interpolation error is reduced as the ratio of the sampling frequency to the signal BW is increased. The decimation chain and the multi-rate analog-to-digital converter are simulated to compute the interpolation error and the output signal-to-noise ratio. Further, a method to operate the above-mentioned chain under a compressed mode of operation is proposed in order to guarantee continuous packet connectivity for inter-radio-access technologies. The presented decimation chain can be applied to LTE, WCDMA, GSM multi-mode multi-band digital front-end which will ultimately lead to the software-defined radio.

  • In vocabulary recognition using HMM(Hidden Markov Model) by model for the observation of a discrete probability distribution indicates the advantages of low computational complexity, but relatively low recognition rate has the disadvantage that require sophisticated smoothing process. Gaussian mixtures in order to improve them with a continuous probability density CHMM (Continuous Hidden Markov Model) model is proposed for the optimization of the library system. In this paper is system configuration thread control in recognition Gaussian mixtures model provides a model to optimize of the CHMM vocabulary recognition. The result of applying the proposed system, the recognition rate of 98.1% in vocabulary recognition, respectively.

  • This paper describes design and development of a system that supports continuous creation of hazard maps by local residents in their daily life. We made an interview survey to design our system in a model traditional town in Saga, Japan. The results show that in spite of continuous efforts, many practical problems remain and residents feel unsafe. Based on these results, we designed and developed a unique ICT-based support system which contributes to community-based disaster prevention/reduction. The continuous resident participation and posting design are core concept for our sustainable community-based approach. Our system continues to support making a hazard map by integrating the community-based hazard information. Local residents register information about the spot (disaster types, a risk level, a photograph, comments, positional information) that can be dangerous in case of disaster. We have evaluated the usefulness and possibilities of our prototype system implemented as an iOS application.

  • The performance of optimisation methods, based on penalty functions, is highly problem- dependent and many methods require additional tuning of some variables. This additional tuning is the influences of penalty coefficient, which depend strongly on the degree of constraint violation. Moreover, Binary-coded Genetic Algorithm (BGA) meets certain difficulties when dealing with continuous and/or discrete search spaces with large dimensions. With the above reasons, Real-coded Micro-Genetic Algorithm (R$\mu$GA) is proposed to find the global optimum of continuous and/or discrete nonlinear constrained engineering problems without handling any of penalty functions. R$\mu$GA can help in avoiding the premature convergence and search for global solution-spaces, because of its wide spread applicability, global perspective and inherent parallelism. The proposed R$\mu$GA approach has been demonstrated by solving three different engineering design problems. From the simulation results, it has been concluded that R$\mu$GA is an effective global optimisation tool for solving continuous and/or discrete nonlinear constrained realworld optimisation problems.

  • In this paper, we estimate the degree of approximation by means of the complete modulus of continuity, the partial modulus of continuity, the Lipschitz-type class and Petree's K-functional for the bivariate Szász-Kantorovich operators based on Brenke-type polynomials. Later, we construct Generalized Boolean Sum operators associated with combinations of the Szász-Kantorovich operators based on Brenke-type polynomials. In addition, we obtain the rate of convergence for the GBS operators with the help of the mixed modulus of continuity and the Lipschitz class of the Bögel continuous functions.
