In this paper, we shall consider a class of hyperbolic nonlinear differential equations with continuous deviating arguments. Some new sufficient conditions for oscillation of all solutions with two kinds of boundary conditions are obtained.

In this paper, we consider the oscillation second order unstable neutral difference equations with continuous arguments $\Delta^2_{/tau}(\chi(t)-p\chi(t-\sigma))=f(t,\chi(g(t)))$ and obtain some criteria for the bounded solutions of this equation to be oscillatory.

This paper presents the application of continuous wavelet transform for determination of dynamic parameters of continuous beam subjected to moving load. Morlet wavelet is used as mother wavelet in wavelet transform. Dynamic parameters are estimated from the magnitudes and arguments of the wavelet coefficients obtained by wavelet transforming the response time histories of joints on the beam. This study shows that the estimated parameters such as natural frequencies, dmping ratios and mode shapes are to be well-compared with those of the finite element analysis.

This study aims to investigate the factors influencing followers' continuous usage intention of twitter based on Elaboration Likelihood Model. In particular, central route(information itself) and peripheral route(twitterian's trustworthiness) are tested to reveal which has a more influential role in effecting the continuous usage intention of power-twitter. Furthermore, this study tests the relationship of users' attitude and continuous usage intention. The results indicate that argument quality, accuracy(central route), source expertise and source trustworthiness (peripheral route) have an influence on attitude. However, trustworthy on central route is not significant. Argument quality, trustworthy, accuracy(central route) and source expertise(peripheral route) have an influence on perceived usefulness. But source trustworthiness on peripheral is not significant. Attitude has an influence on perceived usefulness, and attitude and perceived usefulness both have an influence on perceived usefulness. In conclusion, central route is more influential than peripheral route in forming a positive attitude towards arguments, which in turn leads to the perception of twitter's usefulness, and in the end brings the continuous usage intention of twitter.

이 논의는 고등평생학습생태계 구축에 초점을 두고 기존의 주장들에 대해서 비판적 고찰을 목적으로 진행하였다. 첫째, 현 한국의 대학교육 특성과 지방대학 위기 담론을 논의하였다. 둘째, 평생학습사회와 평생학습체제 구축에 대한 주장을 고찰하였다. 셋째, 고등평생학습생태계 구축에 대한 주장을 검토하고 실천적 방안에 대해 비판적 고찰을 하였다. 결론은 다음과 같다. 고등평생학습생태계 구축을 위한 방안은 상당히 구체적으로 논의 해왔고 이를 통한 지방대학의 위기 극복과 지역균형발전의 가능성은 충분하다. 다만 첫째, 대학이 중심적인 역할을 해야 하는데 이를 위해 대학 개혁이 이루어질 수 있는지 의문을 제기하였다. 둘째, 위기 극복을 위해 국가의 책임과 책무, 지속적인 지원이 요구되고 있다. 반면 현 한국의 정부 당국의 협조가 가능한지 의문을 제기하였다. 셋째, 지역사회 중심으로 거버넌스를 이루어 민주적인 방식에 따라 진행하는데 이해 관계자 합의를 위한 토대 형성 전략이 구성되어 있는지 의문을 제기하였다.

The goal of this paper is to develop a nonlinear observer-based control strategy for a multi-variables continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR). A new robust nonlinear observer is constructed to estimate the whole process state variables. The observer is coupled with a nonlinear controller, designed based on the input-output linearization for controlling the concentration and reactor temperature. The closed loop system is shown to be globally asymptotically stable based on Lyapunov arguments. Finally, computer simulations are developed for showing the performance of the proposed controller.

This study has analyzed the interrelation between transformational leadership (TL) and organizational commitment (OC) so as to verify the mediating effect of their trust on OC, finding that charisma and intellectual stimulus have a significant effect on affective and continuous commitment. This finding is different from any existing arguments where the charisma of TL and the individual consideration are said to have a significant and positive effect on affective and continuous commitment. Furthermore, the mediating effect, which was expected to be highly relevant on the grounds of the findings of previous researches that any high trust of a leader would lead to a high level of OC of members, has been revealed as a complete mediation in the relationship of emotional trust between individual consideration and OC, which shows that the correlation between TL and OC may vary depending on the characteristics of an organization and its members both of which are sample objects. This study, unlike most previous researches with their research samples in industrial fields, has estimated the growing interrelation of NGOs. Therefore, while this study itself may have its research-limit of specificity, it is expected to make a useful contribution to any future researches of the same category.

A family of $Ap{\acute{e}}ry$-like series involving reciprocals of central binomial coefficients is studied and it is shown that they represent transcendental numbers. The structure of such series is further examined in terms of finite combinations of logarithms and arctangents with arguments and coefficients belonging to a suitable algebraic extension of rationals. Monotonicity of certain quotients of weighted binomial sums which arise in the study of competitive cheap talk models is established with the help of a continuous extension of the discrete model at hand. The monotonic behavior of such quotients turns out to have important applications in game theory.

The most known continuum damage theories for brittle structures are suitable to model the degradation of the material due to the deformation process and the consequent initiation of a macro-crack. Nevertheless, they are not able to describe the propagation of the crack that leads, eventually, to the breakage of the structure into parts that undergo rigid body motion. This paper presents a theory, formulated from formal arguments of Continuum Mechanics, that may describe not only the degradation but also the fracture of elastic structures. The modeling of such a discontinuous phenomenon through a continuous theory is possible by taking a cohesion variable, related with the links between material points, as an additional degree of kinematical freedom. The possibilities of the proposed theory are discussed through examples.

In this paper, we are mainly concerned with two-sided estimates for transition probabilities of symmetric Markov chains on ℤ^d, whose one-step transition probability is comparable to |x - y|^-dϕ_j (|x - y|)^-1 with ϕ_j being a positive regularly varying function on [1, ∞) with index α ∈ [2, ∞). For upper bounds, we directly apply the comparison idea and the Davies method, which considerably improves the existing arguments in the literature; while for lower bounds the relation with the corresponding continuous time symmetric Markov chains are fully used. In particular, our results answer one open question mentioned in the paper by Murugan and Saloff-Coste (2015).
