  • The purpose of this study is to examine how change recipients react to change (affective commitment to change) and how change leads to positive consequences (job satisfaction) in Revolution and Evolution, taking into account the change content (perceived change impact), change context (change climate), and change process (participation in the change process). The present study uses a deductive approach with an exploratory research design. Data was collected from 254 employees of the head offices of three major banks, who have gone through Revolution, and 354 employees of the head offices, three banks who have gone through Evolution in the last five years. The hypothesized model is tested and analyzed through structural equation modeling using SmartPLS. The findings revealed that, in the case of Revolution, the presence of the favorable context and process might revert the negative perception of the change and lead towards explicit positive reactions (affective commitment to change) and change consequences (job satisfaction). In the case of Evolution, the change can be more effectively implemented using favorable context and process by achieving explicit positive reactions (affective commitment to change) and change consequences (job satisfaction).

  • As new smart devices are evolved into the intelligent agent who can reflect user intention and use context, user experience design for easy and convenient usability becomes a core competitive edge. Under the assumption that human centered natural interaction is necessary for the optimal smart TV experience, this study explores the types of voice interaction which are peculiar to TV watching context. In order to build a model for the users to naturally interact with Smart TV, conversation patterns were collected by requesting key features of Smart TV to intelligent agent. Collected sentences were applied to CfA model and classified by responses to activate features. The classified conversation patterns were divided into feature activation and information search. This study has identified that CfC1 occurred when voice interaction between Smart TV and users was vague and CfC2 occurred when the requests were complex or conditional. In conclusion, Simple Request Type is the most efficient model and voice interaction is more appropriate to use to clarify users' vague requests.

  • The injection is the input method of the image feature vector from the encoder to the decoder. Since the image feature vector contains object details such as color and texture, it is essential to generate image captions. However, the bidirectional decoder model using the existing injection method only inputs the image feature vector in the first step, so image feature vectors of the backward sequence are vanishing. This problem makes it difficult to describe the context in detail. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the parallel injection method to improve the description performance of image captions. The proposed Injection method fuses all embeddings and image vectors to preserve the context. Also, We optimize our image caption model with Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (Bi-GRU) to reduce the amount of computation of the decoder. To validate the proposed model, experiments were conducted with a certified image caption dataset, demonstrating excellence in comparison with the latest models using BLEU and METEOR scores. The proposed model improved the BLEU score up to 20.2 points and the METEOR score up to 3.65 points compared to the existing caption model.

  • Information visualization, generally speaking, consists of three steps: transform from raw data to data model, visual mapping from data model to visual structure, and transform from visual structure to information model. In this paper, we propose a visual mapping method from spatiotemporal table information, which is related to events in large-scale building, to 3D map metaphor. The process has also three steps as follows. First, after analyzing the table attributes, we carefully define a context to fully represent the table-information. Second, we choose meaningful attribute sets from the context. Third, each meaningful attribute set is mapped to one well defined visual structure. Our method has several advantages. First, users can intuitively achieve non-spatial information through the 3D map which is a powerful spatial metaphor. Second, this system shows various visual mapping method applicable to other data models in the form of table, especially GIS. After describing the whole concept of our visual mapping, we will show the results of implementation for several requests.

  • This study aims to identify Archimedes' idea used while proving proposition 23 in 'Quadrature of the Parabola' and to provide an alternative way for finding the sum of geometric series without applying the concept of limit by extending the idea though metaphor. This metaphorical model is characterized as static and thus can be complimentary to the dynamic aspect of limit concept adopted in Korean high school mathematics textbooks. In addition, middle school students can understand $0.999{\cdots}=1$ with this model in a structural way differently from the operative one suggested in Korean middle school mathematics textbooks. In this respect, I argue that the metaphorical model can be an useful educational tool for Korean secondary students to overcome epistemological obstacles inherent in the concepts of infinity and limit by making it possible to transfer from geometrical context to algebraic context.

  • The current smart lighting is shaped to offer the lighting environment suitable for current context, after identifying user's action and location through a sensor. The sensor-based context awareness technology just considers a single user, and the studies to interpret many users' various context occurrences and conflicts lack. In existing studies, a fuzzy theory and algorithm including ReBa have been used as the methodology to solve context conflict. The fuzzy theory and algorithm including ReBa just avoid an opportunity of context conflict that may occur by providing services by each area, after the spaces where users are located are classified into many areas. Therefore, they actually cannot be regarded as customized service type that can offer personal preference-based context conflict. This paper proposes a priority-based LED lighting control system interpreting multiple context conflicts, which decides services, based on the granted priority according to context type, when service conflict is faced with, due to simultaneous occurrence of various contexts to many users. This study classifies the residential environment into such five areas as living room, 'bed room, study room, kitchen and bath room, and the contexts that may occur within each area are defined as 20 contexts such as exercising, doing makeup, reading, dining and entering, targeting several users. The proposed system defines various contexts of users using an ontology-based model and gives service of user oriented lighting environment through rule based on standard and context reasoning engine. To solve the issue of various context conflicts among users in the same space and at the same time point, the context in which user concentration is required is set in the highest priority. Also, visual comfort is offered as the best alternative priority in the case of the same priority. In this manner, they are utilized as the criteria for service selection upon conflict occurrence.

  • Voice is one of the most efficient communication media and it includes several kinds of factors about speaker, context emotion and so on. Human emotion is expressed in the speech, the gesture, the physiological phenomena (the breath, the beating of the pulse, etc). In this paper, the method to have cognizance of emotion from anyone's voice signals is presented and simulated by using neuro-fuzzy model.

  • An adaptive EEG waveform detection is presented. The method is based on a layered process model. The model allows the bilateral information exchange across the layers. The criteria for the waveform detection and epoch-wise classification can be adapted according to the higher layer context information embedded in a wider range of adjacent signals. The designed system is experimentally tested to show the adaptive operation of the waveform detection.

  • SWE(Sensor Web Enablement) is the standard platform of OGC for the sensor data service. SWE is only focusing in the data transmission protocols, but supporting the semantic decision. Sensor data service is the decision service of the status whether is on normal or not. In this study, we study the semantic decision model of the sensor data. It can support the context-aware service based on the decision information.
