  • The part Ⅰ was for developing regression models to predict the moisture content, protein content and viscosity of brown and milled rice using Near Unfrared (NIR) Reflectance analyzer. The purpose of this study(part Ⅱ) is to measure fundamental data required for the prediction of rice quality , and to develop regression models to predict the protein content of brown and milled rice, brown rice yield from undreid paddy powder by using Near Infrared (NIR) Reflectance analyzer. The results of this study were summarized as follows . The predicted values of protein contents obtained from the undried paddy powder were will correlated to the measured values from brown and milled rice. The predicted yields of brown rice from undried paddy powder were not well correlated to be lab measured values from dried paddy. Continuous study in wavelength selection and of constituent relationship is necessary for practical application.

  • The three kinds of tests are used to further study the effect of the amount of mineral powder in this mixture design. Firstly, comparing the relationship of the content of mineral powder and asphalt bitumen membrane thickness at different asphalt content, through film thickness to determine the range of gradation and asphalt content in laboratory tests, Grade A and Grade D, asphalt content 2.6%, 3.4% and 3.8% are set for the benchmark, then fatigue properties of the test are carried out in the established range, the result show that asphalt film thickness decreases with the addition of mineral powder. The result also show that fatigue properties of asphalt rubber mixture will reduced, when mineral powder added in, especially when the asphalt content is high.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a sexuality education course of study for students in the lower grades of elementary school. Method: On the basis of the sexuality education guidebook for elementary school students published by Korea Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development, the state-designated textbooks for first to third grade were analyzed. Results: 1) In the category of physical and psychological development, physical development and psychosexual development content were covered, but not sexual health content. 2) In the category of understanding of human relationship, marriage and family, and the opposite sex and love were presented but self-determination and selection were only partially presented. 3) In the category of sexual culture and sexual ethics, sexual role in society was covered, but not social environment or equality of the sexes. Conclusion: These results suggest that content on sexuality which is not covered in textbooks for students in lower grades should be included in other school courses or activities in class.

  • In this study, the measurements of the dielectric constants of soil at 900 MHz and 1 GHz were made to relate those properties to the moisture content of the soil. This study's intention was to use the relationship between the dielectric constant and the moisture content to develop a landslide prediction system. By monitoring the change of the moisture content within the soil using ground penetrating radar (GPR) systems in the field, the possibility of a landslide is expected to be detected. To establish a database for the dielectric constants and the moisture content, the measurements of soil samples were made using both an open-ended dielectric coaxial probe and the GPR. Based on the measurement results, correlations between the GPR and reflector for each frequency at 900 MHz and 1 GHz were found for the dielectric constants and the moisture content. Finally, the mechanism of the measurement device to be implemented in the field is suggested.

  • This study explored the relationship between post types and linguistic characteristics in marketer-generated content and social media engagement to find the optimized content to enhance social media engagement level. Post data of 23,588 marketer-generated content were collected from 50 states' destination marketing organization Facebook pages in the United States. The collected data were analyzed by employing social media analytics, linguistic analysis, multivariate analysis of variance, and discriminant analysis. The results showed that there are significant differences in both engagement indicators and linguistic scores among the three post types. Based on research findings, this research not only provided researchers with theoretical implications but also suggested practitioners the most effective content designs for travel destination marketing in Facebook.

  • The relationship between sound and vision was experimentally confirmed by physicist Ernst Florens Friedrich Chladni as early as the 18th century and formally entered into systematic research. With the development of emerging media technology, sound reactive type visual content is not limited to a single visual interaction based on the vibration of sound, and its visual content shows a diversified and scalable development trend according to different purposes in many fields. This study analyzes the development and changes of sound visual art contents from early stage to modernization, and analyzes the development characteristic of sound visual art content in different fields and scene environments influence by interactive media, new media technologies and devices by means of case analysis. Through this research, it is expected that the sound reactive type visual art content can continue to develop and extend in the existing fields, while explore the scalability of the application of sound reactive type visual art content in more fields.

  • This study is to explore how TV drama describes divorce process by the reason of extramarital relationship in the drama. To explore this subject, 30 drama synopses delineating extramarital relationship were analyzed. The results revealed that most of the couples had difficulties in emotional relationship and communication. The couples relationship was described traditionally patriarchal: husbands showed their authorities and wives showed dependency on their husbands. The partners of extramarital relationship were the lovers before current marriage. The patterns of extramarital relationship included 'intention to look for vitality despite satisfying current marriage' for the husbands and 'intention to avoid dissatisfied current marriage temporally' or 'to maintain marriage despite dissatisfaction' for the wives. For those who married 6 years and longer, more extramarital relationship was accepted as a terminator of the marriage. And in many cases, the divorce dose not mean to maintain the relationship with extramarital partner but to collapse of trust in partner. The results imply that the social work needs to be more sensitive to middle-class couples' communication and relationship problems. This will lead to the development of the social work intervention program for the couples.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between water absorption (or hygroscopic property) and growth rate of rubra oak (Quercus rubra) from 5 different origins of seed (Carleton, Simcoe, Chatham, Bancroft, Unknown). Water absorption at cross section of Quercus rubra was $0.43{\sim}0.92g/cm^2$ and the property was not related with growth rate. Overall equilibrium moisture content of rubra oak were 11.35~11.56% and 15.15~15.83% at $40^{\circ}C$ with 75% and 90% relative humidities, respectively. There was no relationship between growth rate and moisture content(hygroscopy) in rubra oak. Based on the results, Rubra oak can be classified as a low hygroscopic wood grade, and thus might be a good raw material for furniture productions owing to its superior dimensional stability.

  • To estimate the chemical mass balance of several kinds of trace metals in sea water, suspended matter and bottom sediments, sixty samples from the Kum and Mankyung estuaries were analyzed. In both estuaries, the distribution patterns of leachabl suspended trace metals and of bottom sediments were established to be similar. The relationship between the metal concentration and clay content of the sediments was found to be such that the metal concentration increases with an increase in clay content. A linear correlation ws determined between pairs of leachable metals (Fe-Zn, Fe-Mn and Zn-Mn) in the Kum estuary. However, in the Mankyung estuary linear relationship does not exist. Finally, it is suggested that the trace metals are reworking in the Kum estuary and those in the Mankyung estuary are sinking.
