Fatty Acid Composition of 72 Species of Korean Fish

  • Fatty acid compositions of seventy-two species of Korean fish muscle, 59 species of sea water fish and 13 species of fresh water fish, were studied. Polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) was the richest fatty acid group in all fish samples, accounting for $38.0\pm10.3\%$ of total fatty acids. Monounsaturated fatty acids $(MUFA,\;31.4\pm9.67\%)$ and saturated fatty acids $(SFA, 30.5\pm3.81\%)$ showed a similar level. There was a positive correlation between the total lipid content and MUFA (r=0.7788, p<0.001) and a negative correlation between the total lipid content and PUFA (r= -0.7786, p<0.001) while there was no correlation between the total lipid content and SFA. The proportion of n-3 PUFA and n-6 PUFA was $29.7\pm8.73\%$ and $6,48\pm3.70\%$, respectively, in all fish samples. The n-3 PUFA was rich in sea water fish while n-6 PUFA was rich in fresh water fish. The migratory fish contained the highest level of the n-3 PUFA $(1.82\pm1.01g/100g\;muscle)$, followed by the fresh water fish $(1.09\pm1.04g/100g\;muscle)$, the reef fish $(0.90\pm0.60g/100g\;muscle)$ and the demersal fish $(0.77\pm0.38g/100g\;muscle)$. There was a positive correlation between the total lipid and n-3 PUFA content, $y=0.2083\times+0.05 (r=0.9352,\;p<0.0010)$.

  • 이 논문은 지방문화산업지원센터의 역할모델을 중심으로 산 ${\cdot}$학 협력을 기반으로한 지역문화콘텐츠산업의 혁신 환경을 창출하기 위한 사업모델을 개발하는데 초점을 두었다. 이를 위하여 경기디지털콘텐츠진흥원의 공공아카데미사업과 경기문화원형디지털콘텐츠개발 사업에 대한 사례분석을 실시하였다. 이를 바탕으로 이 논문에서는 지역문화산업 혁신환경 차원에서 경기디지털콘텐츠진릉원의 산학협력사업 모델을 문화콘텐츠 R&D 네트워크센터 구축사업, 인력양성사업과 지역클러스터사업의 연계 강화사업, 산 ${\cdot}$ 학과의 파트너쉽 기반 문화콘텐츠체험 및 학습 프로그램 체계 구축사업 등 세 가지 차원에서 설정하였다.

Comparison of Lipid Classes and Fatty Acid Compositions among Eight Species of Wild and Cultured Seawater Fishes

  • Lipid classes and fatty acid compositions of eight species of wild and cultured seawater fish in Korea were investigated. Total lipid (TL) contents of wild and cultured fish were $2.64\pm1.88\%$ and $5.42\pm1.76\%$, respectively, except for rockfish and striped beakperch. Non-polar lipids (NL) in all fish samples comprised approximately $84\%$ of the TL content. The proportion equation of NL content to TL content was y=0.9296x-0.4468 $(R^2=0.98l2, p<0.001)$. The most abundant NL class was triglyceride. The prominent fatty acids in all fish samples were 16: 0, 18: 1(n-9), 22 : 6(n-3) (docosahexaenoic acid, DHA), 16: 1(n-7), 20 : 5 (n-3) (eicosapentaenoic acid, EPA), 18 : 0 and 18 : 1(n-7). The polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) group was the richest among the total fatty acids (TFA). DHA and EPA were comprised of approximately $85\%$ of n-3 PUFA. There was a positive correlation between TFA content and n-3 PUFA content; y=0.292x-0.0055 $(R^2=0.9349, p<0.001)$. The n-3 PUFA content of the cultured fish was approximately twice as much as that of the wild fish. Therefore, cultured fish were proven to provide better sources of n-3 PUFA if compared to wild fish.

  • Ramie (Boehmeria nivea M.) has been used for fiber materials in Korea traditionally, but in recent years, the concern with ramie leaves for the food industry such as tteok (a kind of Korean rice cake) industry has been increasing, so a study for eatable ramie is required for the expansion of ramie consumption. Moreover, the ramie varieties for the food industry are not established, so the natural species are cultivated in general; therefore, it is very important to select the ramie varieties for the food industry such as rice cakes, tea, beverage and so on. This study was undertaken to compare the physiochemical properties among 9 ramie lines selected in the Yeonggwang-gun Agricultural Technology Center to select the eatable ramie varieties for the food industry. The contents of the protein among 9 ramie lines was 6.21~7.56% and had the highest content in the YG55. The folic acid (folate) and vitamin C content had varying differences among the 9 lines; the content of folate showed $771.52{\sim}1,978.84{\mu}g%$, that of vitamin C showed 149.42~275.34 mg%. The ACE inhibitory activity appeared to be the highest in YG88 (21.5%) among the 9 ramie varieties tested.

융합시대의 스타콘텐츠 발굴 및 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Decision and Selection of the Star Contents in the Convergence Era)

  • In this era of convergence, which is characterized by the integration and combination of technology and industries, broadcasting and communications, offline and online, and devices and services, the content industry is also experiencing rapid changes including inter-genre exchange, the creation of new industries, and customized demand. Specifically, IT-based digital content industries such as the online game, e-book, mobile contents and web portal industries are no longer restricted to the boundaries of video, music and games but are being expanded into the realms of education, medicine, fashion and sports thanks to CT innovation of 3D, CG, AR/VR, VFX, etc. As such, various countries have come to recognize the convergent content industry as a new growth engine that will pick up where the IT industry left off, and are forming policies for its development accordingly. This research aims to optimize the system of content taxonomy which is currently genre-focused and unable to support technological development and convergence, and to discover and select star contents to be rigorously developed with governmental support. In this paper, 20 star contents in 8 areas were selected, and these are expected to create tremendous cultural and economic value through ongoing technological and industrial development.

Effect of Dietary Conjugated Linoleic Acid on Growth, Lipid Class, and Fatty Acid Composition in Rainbow Trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss)

  • The development of a fish that functionally provides both antioxidant and fat-reducing effects is an important goal in nutrition and aquaculture research. Dietary conjugated linoleic acid(CLA) can be successfully incorporated in fish muscle and viscera, but CLA and carotenoids have not been evaluated in such fish. An 8 weeks growth trial was conducted using rainbow trout, and all fish were fed twice daily with experimental diets containing graded amounts of CLA(1% and 5%). At the end of the experiment, the daily growth index, feed conversion rate, lipid class, and fatty acid composition were determined. Dietary CLA did not enhance the growth parameters of rainbow trout but did improve the feed conversion rate. The muscular polar lipid content decreased during the feeding period, while the content was stable in the viscera. In addition, a diet high in CLA decreased the polyunsaturated fatty acid content, but had no effect on the content of monounsaturated and saturated fatty acid in muscle.

쇼트 클립 플랫폼 틱톡(TikTok)에 나타난 보디 포지티브 무브먼트 콘텐츠의 주제 유형 및 표현기법 (A study on the thematic types, expression techniques, and impact of body positive movement content on the short clip platform TikTok)

  • This study examines the rise of the Body Positive Movement on TikTok and its role as a form of online content activism influencing the fashion design and industry. Through a combination of literature review and case study methodology, the study explores the expression techniques and thematic types of Body Positive Movement on TikTok. Reviews of literature, previous studies, online articles, fashion journals, and relevant search terms on TikTok informed a definition of Body Positive Movement and an analysis of its formation and rise. The research findings confirm the impact TikTok content on Body Positive Movement has on the fashion industry in addressing external factors (i.e., 'Appearance', 'Race', 'Aging', 'Physical Disability') and intrinsic factors (i.e., 'Acceptance of Diversity', 'Self-Esteem', 'Rejection of Stereotypes', 'Appropriate Representation', 'Information Provision'). The key external factor , 'Appearance', includes subcategories such as 'Body Shape', 'Body Hair', 'Skin', and 'Facial Features'. TikTok content creators on fashion creatively combine music, emojis, and visual storytelling to exhibit positive self-perception concerning these factors. A significant finding of the study is that short clips predominantly manifesting external factors differentiate into informative or enlightening videos associated with intrinsic factors. The study underscores Body Positive Movement's important influence on the fashion industry from design to presentation.

A Study on the Educational Plan First Person Storytelling of Realistic Content

  • 본 논문은 실감 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 스토리텔링 교육 방안을 제시하려 한다. 미디어 기술이 발전하면서 기술적 융합과 함께 실감 콘텐츠의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 현상은 COVID-19로 인해 가속화되고 있다. 이러한 저변 환경 속에서 2019년 정부는 미래 성장 동력을 확보하기 위한 전략을 수립하고, "콘텐츠산업 3대 혁신 전략"을 발표하면서, '선도형 실감 콘텐츠 육성'을 강조했다. 실감 콘텐츠는 사용자의 직접 체험이 가능한 콘텐츠 영역이다. 실감 콘텐츠 제작에서 기술의 발전과 함께 중요하게 다뤄져야 하는 것이 1인칭 스토리텔링이다. 실제 교육 현장에서 이루어진 스토리텔링 수업의 결과를 분석하고, 기존의 문학적 글쓰기에서 통용되는 1인칭 시점과의 변별점을 찾아내, 1인칭 스토리텔링이 실감 콘텐츠 개발에 활용될 수 있는 효과적인 교육 방안 제시하고자 한다.

국내 창조산업 콘텐츠 진흥정책의 동기구축효과에 관한 연구 -수혜자 만족도를 중심으로- (Analysis of Creative Content Policy in Korea -Effect of Extrinsic Rewards on Intrinsic Motivation-)

  • 본 연구는 국내 창조산업 콘텐츠 진흥정책의 성과를 측정하기 위한 목적을 지니며, 국내 창조산업 종사기업 402개 업체를 대상으로 동기구축효과를 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 콘텐츠 진흥정책의 수혜자들은 장르별, 매출별로 평균 3.5 이하의 낮은 정책 만족도를 나타냈고, 특히 매출규모가 낮은 업체의 만족도가 더 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 국내 진흥정책이 창조적 자산을 지닌 다양한 집단의 동기를 충족시키지 못하고 있음을 의미한다. 그러나 정책 수혜 집단이 시장 성장에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하고 있는 점은 진흥정책의 긍정적 성과로 파악된다. 또한 비수혜 집단의 정책 기대치가 높은 점은 국내 진흥 정책의 지속적 확장이 필요함을 의미한다. 반면, 수혜 여부에 관계없는 국내 시장에 대한 유사한 문제의식, 저조한 정책 도움 정도 평가 등은 현행 진흥정책의 재고가 필요함을 시사한다.

주세 체계 개편으로 인한 주류 산업의 변화와 주세 부과 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Change of the Korean Liquor Industry and the Imposition of Liquor Tax by Changes in Tax system)

  • On January 1, 2020, the liquor tax for beer and takju was reorganized from the ad valorem tax to the specific tax. The purpose of the reorganization of the liquor tax announced by the National Tax Service is to improve the quality of the liquor and to resolve unreasonable discrimination between domestic and imported liquor. However, it is necessary to determine whether the National Tax Service's standard for levying the liquor tax is appropriate for the purpose. In this study, the change in the liquor industry is estimated due to the reorganization of the liquor tax using Hicks net price elasticity. In addition, the specific tax for each of the liquors and the alcohol content derived from the social cost minimization model is compared. The main findings are as follows. First, when the liquor tax of beer and takju is converted to the specific tax, social costs increase, and social welfare decrease. Second, if all the liquors are converted to the specific tax, social costs decrease. Third, when comparing specific tax by each of the liquors and the alcohol content according to the social cost minimization model, The specific tax by alcohol content can be considered more appropriate in terms of social cost and the stakeholders in the liquor industry.
