  • Increasing construction costs are required due to increasing the supply of small type houses with changes in multi-family housing trends. However, a sharp rise in the construction cost of small type houses can raise the sale price, threatening the stability of national housing. Therefore, this study aims to estimate the change in the construction cost of small type houses from the basic construction cost of the sale price ceiling system and suggest an improvement plan.

  • 건설현장에서는 일반적으로 많은 양의 자재재고를 보유해 왔다. 이러한 자재재고는 현장의 불확실한 수요에 대응하여 공정지연을 방지하고, 원자재 가격 상승으로 인한 비용증가에 대비하는 등 순기능적 측면이 있다. 하지만 과도한 자재재고는 재고보유에 소요되는 재고유지비를 증가시키고 현장물류 공간배치의 효율성을 저하시키는 등 낭비요인으로 작용하기도 한다. 따라서 현장의 다양한 변동성을 고려하여 적정 자재재고 수준을 결정하고 관리하는 것은 건설공사의 효율성 측면에서 매우 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구는 시스템 접근방법의 절차에 의하여 철근가공 조립공정과 같이 현장에 투입되기 이전에 원자재 조립 가공과정을 갖는 건설 프로세스론 분석하고 이러한 흐름과정에서 재고수준을 적정화하는 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 이러한 재고관리 방안의 적용성을 확인하기 인하여 수도권지역 경전철 건설사업의 철근 가공장에서의 재고관리 사례를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 알고리즘을 적용한 결과, 현장의 실제 철근 소요량과 가공장에 입고되는 철근 원자재의 입고량이 균형을 이루었고, 이에 따라 평균 재고량과 재고유시비용이 크게 감소되는 것으로 나타났다.

  • For deciding the profitability and feasibility of the construction project, the schematic estimation has to not only link the design decision-making but also estimate the cost with reliability. The Object-based schematic estimation system was developed for easily linking with design-making and supports to evaluate the design alternatives in the design development stage but didn't consider the cost estimated by object supplementary and parameter work item. This research presents the Integrated Object-Parameter Schematic Estimation Model in the design development stage that can lead to more accurately estimate the cost through analyzing historical data from the high-storied office buildings. For the development of the proposed model for schematic estimation, after analyzing and classifying the work items from the Bills of Quantities(BOQs) and drawings of historical data, this research proposed the methods of estimating cost in accordance with attributes of each work item using regression analysis. In addition, a case study is performed for the effectiveness as comparing the proposed model with the previous estimating model.

  • 건설사업에서 설계변경으로 인해 공사기간의 연장뿐만 아니라 이로 인한 추가적인 비용이 발생하고 있다. 추가비용 중에서 간접비 부분은 산정방법이 다양하다. 외국의 경우, 작업 생산성 손실 산정과 관련된 많은 클레임에서 각 연구기관에서 수행한 발표자료를 인용하고 있다. 하지만, 국내의 경우 생산성 손실을 발생시키는 여러 요소들이 왜 발생하는지, 그리고 전체 프로젝트에 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 대한 이해 및 연구에 관한 자료는 극히 미비한 실정이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 건설현장에서 생산성 손실에 영향을 주는 요소들을 분석하고, 이로 인해 발생하는 손실을 국내 현실에 적합하게 정량적으로 산정 한 수 있는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

Efficient Large Dataset Construction using Image Smoothing and Image Size Reduction

  • With the continuous growth in the amount of data collected and analyzed, deep learning has become increasingly popular for extracting meaningful insights from various fields. However, hardware limitations pose a challenge for achieving meaningful results with limited data. To address this challenge, this paper proposes an algorithm that leverages the characteristics of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to reduce the size of image datasets by 20% through smoothing and shrinking the size of images using color elements. The proposed algorithm reduces the learning time and, as a result, the computational load on hardware. The experiments conducted in this study show that the proposed method achieves effective learning with similar or slightly higher accuracy than the original dataset while reducing computational and time costs. This color-centric dataset construction method using image smoothing techniques can lead to more efficient learning on CNNs. This method can be applied in various applications, such as image classification and recognition, and can contribute to more efficient and cost-effective deep learning. This paper presents a promising approach to reducing the computational load and time costs associated with deep learning and provides meaningful results with limited data, enabling them to apply deep learning to a broader range of applications.

  • The new paradigm called 'Low Carbon Green Growth' involved in reducing greenhouse gas is on the rise as a critical issue worldwide. The essential of Kyoto protocol issued in 1997 is to achieve the sustainable economic growth environments by converting existing production system to eco-friendly one. The protocol imposes the liability to reduce greenhouse gas to the countries joined to it. The paradigm is directly involved in the energy consumption and environmental pollution caused by construction activities. Value Engineering which are mainly applied in the design phase in practice is a measure to improve the value of a constructed facility by analyzing and/or appraising the functions and costs of it. However, an appropriate method which assesses eco-friendliness of constructed facility has not been propose by researchers. This paper proposes a method which assesses the performance involved in eco-friendliness of constructed facility using Value Engineering (VE) in the design phase. The method estimates the environmental cost relative to the amounts of energy consumption and environmental pollution occurred over the entire project life cycle. The database called "Life Cycle Inventory DB", which stores information about the amounts of environmental pollution, is used. The algorithm which retrieves the amounts of environmental pollutions from the DB and converts them into environmental costs is developed. The algorithm is implemented into a system which quantifies the eco-friendliness of constructed facility in the design phase using VE.

A STUDY ON THE LIFE-CYCLE FOR SELECTING A GRATING

  • A gutter-shaped U grating is a facility that is installed at the sides of a road to provide pedestrians with a rainwater-free road. The previous studies on this facility focused mainly on the progress of the efforts that are being made to improve its performance and interception efficiency so as to prevent damages in regional areas due to the heavy rains caused by climate change. The studies on its maintenance, however, are still inadequate. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze and compare the life cycle costs and performance evaluations of the steel and magic gratings, which are installed in apartments. The results of the study show that the replacement period and rate of gratings differ depending on where they are installed. The initial capital investment cost of a magic grating installed at a road where many vehicles pass is quite high, but in terms of its maintenance and entire-life-cycle costs, its total expenses are lower than those of a steel grating. The results of this study are expected to serve as preliminary data for the selection of an adequate grating that is suitable for particular places in the design phase of construction projects.

도시재생 사업의 매몰비용에 관한 이해집단간의 의식조사 연구 (A Study on the Perception of Stakeholders on Sunken Costs of an Urban Development Project)

  • 본 연구는 현재 사회적 문제가 되고 있는 도시재생 사업의 매몰비용 관련 인식 조사를 목적으로 실시하였다. 조사결과 지방정부, 중앙정부, 정치권, 조합원 및 토지 등 소유자 모두 매몰비용에 관하여 일정부분 책임과 부담 의무의 필요성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 매몰비용에 대한 지원은 어느 하나의 주체에게 책임을 전가하기보다 정비 사업에 참여했던 주체 모두가 함께 책임을 통감하여 문제가 되고 있는 매몰비용의 부담과 해결 방안까지 공유해야하는 것으로 나타났다. 공공은 매몰비용에 대해 직접적인 지원보다는 간접적 지원(기반시설 부담, 세제혜택, 규제기준 완화 등)을 통하여 조합 등이 사업 추진의 지속 여부에 대하여 합리적인 선택을 할 수 있도록 유도하여야 하여야 할 것이다.

공공의무화 제도에 따른 신재생에너지 보급 실태 분석 (The Supply Status Analysis of New Renewable Energy Based on Public Obligation System)

  • Based on the supply status statistics of new renewable energy according to public obligation system, current status of overall application centered on solar heat, solar ray, and geothermal heat as energy sources that can be applied to buildings may be analyzed as follows. (1) After the public obligation system, the investment costs on the total construction costs by years were between 5.21% and 7.12%: they were 7.12% in 2004, where the system was initially implemented; and they were gradually declined from 2005 to 2011, 5.76% in average. The ratio of equipment investment per energy sources in the total construction costs was 5.9%, which was slightly more than the obliged ratio. The order of investment costs per energy source was solar ray, geothermal heat, and solar heat. (2) Among the 1,433 sites in the plan of new renewable energy installation based on the public obligation system, "for cultural & social use" was most in target institution, and facilities for education & research was most in use classification, followed by public working, culture & rally, and sports. The number of facilities applied according to the case for planning installation per use classification of the target institution was between 1.1 and 1.5, or 1.4 in average of energy source. Conclusively, the authors of this study investigated overall current status of new renewable energy supply from the analysis of statistic data, and it may be needed of further supplementation of various examinations by visiting investigation and interviews with practitioners based on classification of use of target institutions.

교량의 생애주기비용 최적설계 (Optimal Life Cycle Cost Design of a Bridge)

  • 최근 들어 교량과 같은 구조물에 대한 생애주기비용(Life Cycle Cost, LCC) 분석의 중요성이 점차 커지고 있다. 그러나 교량의 공용수명 동안 발생할 수 있는 생애주기비용은 설계 및 시공조건 그리고 사용환경에 따라 많은 불확실성을 내포하고 있기 때문에 정확히 예측하기 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 교량의 생애주기비용 최적설계를 위한 설계방법을 제시하였다. 교량의 총생애주기비용은 초기비용, 손상비용 유지관리비용, 보수/보강비용, 사용자비용, 해제/폐기비용의 합으로 산정하였다. 생애주기비용을 목적함수로 하고 도로교설계기준을 제약조건으로 최적화를 수행하였다. 초기비용은 종합불가정보 및 참고자료를 근거로 산출하였으며, 하중 및 부재에 대한 불확실성을 고려하기 위해 손상확률의 개념을 도입하여 손상비용을 산출하였다. 교량의 내하율곡선을 이용하여 교량의 보수/보강 비용을 추정하였으며, 차량운행비용과 시간지연비용으로부터 사용자비용을 산정하였다. 이로부터 교량에 대한 생애주기비용 최적설계를 수행하고 주요인자들에 대한 영향을 살펴보았다.
