For the purpose of searching examination in the connection with clinical medicine and the basic theory of Korean Medicine, we comparatively studied on the physiological system of Hyun-Gok (1912~1987) and the Hyunsang system of Ji-San (1927~2000). The results are as follows. The metabolism of Yin and Yang is connected 'Gallbladder (膽)'-'Bladder (膀胱)' and Man (男), Woman (女), Old aged (老), Young child (小) style. Man and Woman are divided in the body form chacteristic not by the sex. 'Gallbladder (膽)'-'Bladder (膀胱)' style are divided in the body form chacteristic by the terms of Yin (陰) and Yang (陽). 'Gallbladder (膽)' style represents excessive Yang and deficient Yin, 'Bladder (膀胱)' style represents excessive Yin and deficient Yang. The four composition factor of the body is connected Material basis (精) type, Vital energy (氣) type, Mental faculties (神) type and Blood (血) type. In the diagnosis of body form on the Hyungsang Medicine, there are several types of body shape and categories of people. The Material basis (精) type, Vital energy (氣) type, Mental faculties (神) type and Blood (血) type are classified by the four composition factor of the body. The structural-mechanics organization of five Internal Organs (臟) is connected five Internal Organs (臟) types and the running-animal (走), bird (鳥), fish (魚), turtle (甲) types in the Hyunsang system. The five Internal Organs (臟) types are percived on the ears, eyes, nose, mouth and facial complexion. And the running-animal, bird, fish, turtle types are accorded to the individual personalities and the most-developed part in the body trunk by the Organ picture (藏象) theory. The six atmospheric influences (六氣) is connected the six Kyung types (六經形). The six Kyung types are regulated by the shape of eyes and nose representing for the relation of Vital energy (氣) and Blood (血). By the comparative study on the physiological system of Hyun-Gok and the Hyunsang system of Ji-San, we can search the connection with clinical medicine and the basic theory of Korean Medicine.

This study analyzed the effect of performance connected-type foundations of behavior and the connected beams according to the characteristics into soft clay transmission tower foundation. For this purpose, the finite element analysis model was built and connected to the transmission tower foundation mat and the contact area of the connection beam by the percentage change in the behavior and resistance characteristics were analyzed and finite element verification of the validity of the analytical model was conducted using connected-type transmission tower results of the model experiments constructed, and effective connected-type transmission tower basis of the behavior of connected beams were selected by analyzing the effect due to the increase of the stiffness. In addition, weak analysis by connected beam self-bending moment distribution was conducted.
This paper summarizes the results of full-scale cyclic seismic performance tests on three column-tree type steel moment connections. Each test specimen consisted of a $H-600{\times}200$ beam and a $H-400{\times}400$ column of SS41 (SS400). Key parameter included was column PZ (panel zone) strength relative to beam strength. The seismic performance of specimen with stronger PZ tended to be inferior. Total plastic rotations available in the specimens ranged from 1.8 to 3.0 (% rad). The limited test results in this study seem to support the speculation that permitting PZ yielding shall be more beneficial to enhancing total plastic rotation capacity of the moment connection. Beam flange fracture across the heat affected zone and divot-type pullout of the column flange were observed in the tests. A conceptual mechanical model consistent with observed test results was also sought.
Longitudinal shear failure is the most common failure-type in composite slabs. In this paper, the shear-connection behavior of composite slabs with a particular profiled steel sheeting, so called ACE-DECK, having a depth of 60mm is studied experimentaly. Twenty two pull-out test specimens of different shapes, concrete topping thickness, and different steel sheeting thickness are carried out. It is founded that the shear connection behavior of composite slabs are not affected significantly in the steel sheeting thickness and concrete topping thickness. A new type of profiled steel sheeting is more effective in shear-bond strength that of existing flat-type deck plate, which can offer longitudinal shear strength in composite slope up to $3.6kgf/cm^2$
In this paper, we consider the scheduling of SE(switching element)-disjoint multicasting in photonic Banyan-type switching networks constructed with directional couplers. This ensures that at most, one connection holds each SE in a given time thus, neither crosstalk nor blocking will arise in the network. Such multicasting usually takes several routing rounds hence, it is desirable to keep the number of rounds(i.e., scheduling length) to a minimum. We first present the necessary and sufficient condition for connections to pass through a common SE(i.e., make crosstalk) in the photonic Banyan-type networks capable of supporting one-to-many connections. With definition of uniquely splitting a multicast connection into distinct subconnections, the crosstalk relationship of a set of connections is represented by a graph model. In order to analyze the worst case crosstalk we characterize the upper bound on the degree of the graph. The successor paper(Part II)[14] is devoted to the scheduling algorithm and the upper bound on the scheduling length. Comparison with related results is made in detail.
PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to compare computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) abutment and prefabricated abutment in Morse taper internal connection type implants after cyclic loading. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The study was conducted with internal type implants of two different manufacturers (Group Os, De). Fourteen assemblies were prepared for each manufacturer group and divided into 2 groups (n=7): prefabricated abutments (Os-P, De-P) and CAD/CAM abutments (Os-C, De-C). The amount of axial displacement and the removal torque values (RTVs) were measured before and after cyclic loading (106 cycles, 3 Hz with 150 N), and the tensile removal force to dislodge the abutments was measured after cyclic loading. A repeated measures ANOVA and a pattern analysis based on the logarithmic regression model were conducted to evaluate the effect of cyclic loading on the axial displacement. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test and the Mann-Whitney test was conducted for comparison of RTV reduction% and tensile removal forces. RESULTS. There was no significant difference between CAD/CAM abutments and prefabricated abutments in axial displacement and tensile removal force; however, significantly greater RTV reduction% after cyclic loading was observed in CAD/CAM abutments. The correlation among the axial displacement, the RTV, and the tensile removal force was not significant. CONCLUSION. The use of CAD/CAM abutment did not significantly affect the amount of axial displacement and tensile removal force, but presented a significantly greater removal torque reduction% than prefabricated abutments. The connection stability due to the friction at the abutment-implant interface of CAD/CAM abutments may not be different from prefabricated abutment.
Purpose: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of the fixture abutment connection type and diameter on the screw joint stability in external butt joint for 2nd surgery and internal cone connected type implant system for 1st and 2nd surgery using ultimate fracture strength. Materials and Methods: USII system, SSII system and GSII system of Osstem Implant were used. Each system used the fixture with two different diameters and cement-retained abutments, and tungsten carbide / carbon coated abutment screws were used. Disc shaped stainless steel metal tube was attached using resin-based temporary cement. The experimental group was divided into seven subgroups, including the platform switching shaped specimen that uses a regular abutment in the fixture with a wide diameter in USII system. A static load was increased to the metal tube at 5mm deviated point from the implant central axis until it reached the compression bending strength at a rate of 1mm/min. Then the deformations and patterns of fracture in threaded connection were compared. Results and Conclusion: 1. In the comparison between the Regular diameter, compression bending strength of SSII system was higher than USII system and GSII system. There was no significant difference between USII system and GSII system. 2. In the comparison between wide diameter, compression bending strength was increased in the order of GSII system, USII system, and SSII system. 3. In comparison between the implant diameter, compression bending strength of the wide diameter was greater than the regular diameter in any system(P<0.05). 4. There was no significant difference between the platform switching (III group) and the regular diameter (I group) in USII system. 5. In USII system, fracture of abutment screw and deformation of both fixture and abutment were observed in I, II and III subgroups. 6. Failure pattern of SSII system, which was the fracture of abutment screw and deformation of the abutment and fixture, was observed in both IV and V subgroups. Fracture of some fixtures was observed in subgroup V. 7. Failure pattern of GSII system, which was the fracture of the abutment screw and deformation of the fixture and the abutment, was observed in both VI and VII subgroups. Apart from other subgroups, subgroup VII demonstrated no bending neither the fracture at the top of the fixture. The compressive deformation of internal slope in the fixture was the only thing observed in subgroup VII.
Statement of problem: Since the introduction of the concept of osseointegration in dental implants, high long-term success rates have been achieved. Though the use of dental implants have increased dramatically, there are few studies on domestic implants with clinical and objective long-term data. Purpose: The aim of this retrospective study was to provide long-term data on the $Implantium^{(R)}$ implant, which features a sandblasted and acid-etched surface and internal connection with microthreads. Material and methods: 106 $Implantium^{(R)}$ implants placed in 38 patients at Yonsei University Hospital were examined to determine the effect of various factors on implant success and marginal bone loss, through clinical and radiographic results during a 6 to 30 month period. Results: 1. Out of a total of 106 implants placed in 38 patients, one fixture was lost, resulting in a 99.1% cumulative survival rate. 2. Among the 96 implants which were observed throughout the study period, the survival rates were 97.0% in the maxilla and 100% in the mandible. The survival rate in the posterior regions was 98.9% and 100% in the anterior regions. 3. The mean bone loss during the first year after prosthesis placement was 0.17 mm, while the mean annual bone loss after the first year was 0.04 mm, which was statistically less than during the first year(P<.05). 4. There was no significant difference in marginal bone loss according to age during the first year(P>.05), but after the first year, the mean annual bone loss in patients above 50 years was significantly greater(P<.05) compared with patients under 50 years. 5. No significant difference in marginal bone loss was found according to the following factors: gender, jaw, location in the arch, type of implant(submerged or non-submerged), presence of bone grafts, type of prostheses, and type of opposing dentition(P<.05). Conclusion: Based on these results, the sole factor influencing marginal bone loss was age, while factors such as gender, jaw, location in the arch, type of implant, presence of bone grafts, type of prostheses and type of opposing dentition had no significant effect on bone loss. In the present study, the success rate of the $Implantium^{(R)}$ implant with a SLA surface and internal connection with microthreads was satisfactory up to a maximum 30 month period, and the marginal bone loss was in accord with the success criteria of dental implants.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the visual sensibilities of brassiere design. Brassieres were divided into three types according to connection of a cup and a strp. In each type Lace was used where the part of the cup divided by Lines which were constructed such as a mold a horizontal a vertical a mixed and an oblique design. As a result 39 brassieres were obtained. The experiment has been done for seven groups which were divided by the type line and lace with 5 semantic differential bi-polar scales and 10 specialists. The data was analyzed using the statistical SPSS package. The major findings of this research were as follows. An oblique design line in the brassiere were effective in making the breast look bigger more buxom and more voluminous. To make the breast look small and unvoluminous the use of a mold in the 1/2 cup brassiere was effective. Also a mold using lace ion the 1/2 cup brassiere had an effect in making the breast look flatter and broader.

Equations of motion of thin-walled composite H-type cross-section beams incorporating a number of nonclassical effects of transverse shear and primary and secondary warping, and anisotropy of constituent materials are derived. The vibrational characteristics of a composite thin-walled beam exhibiting the circumferentially asymmetric stiffness system(CAS) and the circumferentially uniform stiffness system(CUS) are exploited in connection with the bending-transverse shear coupling and the bending-twist coupling resulting from directional properties of fiber reinforced composite materials.
