In the existing text sentiment analysis models, the entire text is usually directly modeled as a whole, and the hierarchical relationship between text contents is less considered. However, in the practice of sentiment analysis, many texts are mixed with multiple emotions. If the semantic modeling of the whole is directly performed, it may increase the difficulty of the sentiment analysis model to judge the sentiment, making the model difficult to apply to the classification of mixed-sentiment sentences. Therefore, this paper proposes a sentiment analysis model BHGCN that considers the text hierarchy. In this model, the output of hidden states of each layer of BERT is used as a node, and a directed connection is made between the upper and lower layers to construct a graph network with a semantic hierarchy. The model not only pays attention to layer-by-layer semantics, but also pays attention to hierarchical relationships. Suitable for handling mixed sentiment classification tasks. The comparative experimental results show that the BHGCN model exhibits obvious competitive advantages.

How the port, shipping, shipbuilding, and vender industries in Korea can have a seamless value chain through their digitally smooth cooperation by applying the latest information and communications technology through the "4th industrial revolution" was examined. Also considered was the proposition that the value chain should be a smart, seamless value chain among industries with successful hyperconnection. Their cooperative relationships were defined, and the crucial elements for the sustainable development of these industries were considered. As a result, the direction for achieving environmental, social, and governance management by realizing decarbonization through today's digitalization could be studied. In particular, the importance of digitization as a way to respond to the future market from the perspective of small and medium-sized enterprises and the role of digitization realized by small and medium-sized equipment companies in the overall industry were examined. The results simultaneously show the state of linkage between industries and the reason why the value chain must maintain a smooth relationship. In addition, using the lessons learned from recent failure cases from the Korean shipbuilding industry as a cornerstone, the direction for creating a strategic pathway for intelligent connection was investigated.
Purpose - Drawing on relational institutional theory, we explored how demographic similarity between board members of a firm and newly emerged political elites led to firms' increased financial resource acquisition such as leverage ratio and decreased export intensity amidst the Asian financial crisis. We also studied how a firm's leverage ratio and export intensity can further affect firm profitability and financial credit rating. Design/methodology - We revisited and explored a unique, unprecedented crisis that affected most Korean firms: the Asian financial crisis that coincided with a governmental shift from a conservative to a liberal party. We collected demographic information from 432 listed Korean firms' board members and 43 political elites of the Blue House from 1998-2000 to create a demographic similarity measurement. We collected firms' financial information, built panel data, and used ordinary least squares regression to test our theory. Findings - Our results showed that demographic similarity between a firm's directors and newly emerged politicians had a positive association with a firm's leverage ratio but a negative association with a firm's export intensity. A firm's leverage ratio had a negative relationship with firm performance measured by firm profitability and financial credit rating. A firm's export intensity showed a positive effect on firm performance. Originality/value - We highlighted that during an economic crisis that coincided with a governmental shift and change of leading political actors, firms exerted efforts to survey the environment and build new external stakeholder relationships to cope with the changing landscape. We proposed that in an emerging market like Korea where low levels of trust and favoritism are prevalent across society, one of the relational institutional strategies that firms can employ is the selection of directors with similar demographic characteristics to political elites based on factors including birthplace and school affiliations. We examined the efforts of firms to build political networks with newly empowered political elites during a financial crisis, and the consequences of establishing such networks. We highlighted that during a financial crisis, the demographic similarity between a firm's board members and newly emerged politicians can provide firms with access to financial resources but can also result in poor management and reduced effort to enhance its international competitiveness.

Cellular Automata (CA) is a discrete and abstract computational model that is being applied in various fields. Applicable as an excellent pseudo-random sequence generator, CA has recently developed into a basic element of cryptographic systems. Several studies on CA-based stream ciphers have been conducted and it has been observed that the encryption strength increases when the radius of a CA's neighbor is increased when appropriate CA rules are used. In this paper, among CAs that can be applied as a one-dimensional pseudo-random number sequence generator (PRNG), one-dimensional 5-neighbor CAs are classified according to the connection state of their neighbors, and the ignition relationship of the characteristic polynomial is obtained. Also this paper propose a synthesis algorithm for an asymmetric 1-D linear 5-neighbor MLCA in which the radius of the neighbor is increased by 2 using the one-dimensional 3-neighbor 90/150 CA state transition matrix.
In the 4th industry, drones are being used while having a close relationship with our lives. The development and use of various drones suggests a new paradigm for the domestic industry in the future, and is expected to become more advanced and scientific. Meanwhile, in the field of defense, efforts are being made in various ways to overcome the social phenomenon of reduced service resources. It is concentrating its efforts on strengthening the national defense power by preparing an exit strategy to supplement the shortage of service resources and to maintain and improve combat power, and by combining various science and technology related to the 4th industry. The military is planning to reinforce its combat power in connection with future industries to effectively respond and perform missions in preparation for the future combat aspects that have been researched and planned, and is planning an unmanned combat system for the science and technology army by investing a separate budget. Therefore, we systematically introduce and utilize drones, which are the core of the unmanned combat system, to create more active combat power and seek countermeasures for the battle vacuum, It is expected to provide a new paradigm for the battlefield when using advanced technology developed in the private sector and grafting it to the military sector.
Spatial cable systems can provide more transverse stiffness and torsional stiffness without sacrificing the vertical bearing capacity compared with conventional vertical cable systems, which is quite lucrative for long-span earth-anchored suspension bridges' development. Higher economy highlights the importance of refined form-finding analysis. Meanwhile, the internal connection between the lateral and vertical sags has not yet been specified. Given this, an analytic algorithm of form-finding for the earth-anchored suspension bridge with spatial cables is proposed in this paper. Through the geometric compatibility condition and mechanical equilibrium condition, the expressions for cable segment, the recurrence relationship between catenary parameters and control equations of spatial cable are established. Additionally, the nonlinear general reduced gradient method is introduced into fast and high-precision numerical analysis. Furthermore, the analytic expression of the lateral and vertical sags is deduced and discussed. This is very significant for the space design above the bridge deck and the optimization of the sag-to-span ratio in the preliminary design stage of the bridge. Finally, the proposed method is verified with the aid of two examples, one being an operational self-anchored suspension bridge (with spatial cables and a 260 m main span), and the other being an earth-anchored suspension bridge under design (with spatial cables and a 500 m main span). The necessity of an iterative calculation for hanger tensions on earth-anchored suspension bridges is confirmed. It is further concluded that the main cable and their connected hangers are in very close inclined planes.

Ag sintering technologies have received great attention as it was applied to the inverter of Tesla's electric vehicle Model III. Ag sinter bonding technology has advantages in heat dissipation design as well as high-temperature stability due to the intrinsic properties of the material, so it is useful for practical use of SiC and GaN devices. This study was carried out to understand the sinter joining temperature effect on the robust Ag sintered joints in air without pressure within 10 min. Electroplated Ag finished Cu dies (3 mm × 3 mm × 2 mm) and substrates (10 mm × 10 mm × 2 mm) were introduced, respectively, and nano Ag paste was applied as a bonding material. The sinter joining process was performed without pressure in air with the bonding temperature as a variable of 175 ℃, 200 ℃, 225 ℃, and 250 ℃. As results, the bonding temperature of 175 ℃ caused 13.21 MPa of die shear strength, and when the bonding temperature was raised to 200 ℃, the bonding strength increased by 157% to 33.99 MPa. When the bonding temperature was increased to 225 ℃, the bonding strength of 46.54 MPa increased by about 37% compared to that of 200 ℃, and even at a bonding temperature of 250 ℃, the bonding strength exceeded 50 MPa. The bonding strength of Ag sinter joints was directly influenced by changes in the necking thickness and interfacial connection ratio. In addition, developments in the morphologies of the joint interface and porous structure have a significant effect on displacement. This study is systematically discussed on the relationship between processing temperatures and bonding strength of Ag sinter joints.
Purpose This study investigates the impact of organizational characteristics on organizational performance through case studies of smart factory implementation in the context of Korean small and medium Enterprises (SMEs). To achieve this goal, this study adopts the smart factory index of KOSMO (Korea Smart Manufacturing Office) established by Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups. We visited 3 firms implemented smart factory projects. This study presents the results of field study in detail with evaluation criteria on how organizational competences like AI technology adoption and facility automation can be exploited to positively influence organizational performance through smart factory implementation. Design/methodology/approach There are not so many results of empirical studies related to smart factories in Korea. This is because organizational support and user involvement are required for facility AI platform service beyond factory automation after the start of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Korean government's KOSMO (Korean Smart Manufacturing Office) has developed and proposed a level measurement index for smart factory implementation. This study conducts case studies based on the level measurement method proposed by KOSMO in the process of conducting case studies of three companies belonging to the root and mechanic industries in Korea. Findings The findings indicate that organizational competences, such as facility AI platform adoption and user involvement, are antecedents to influence smart factory implementation, while smart factory implementation has significant relationship with organizational performance. This study provides a better understanding of the connection between organizational competences and organizational performance through smart factory case studies. This study suggests that SMEs should focus on enhancing their organizational competences for improving organizational performance through implementing smart factory projects.
Scientific forensic techniques are used to verify environmental impact of groundwater pollution, surface water pollution, air pollution, noise, and vibration according to residents' complaints in connection with construction and civil engineering works. In this study, we investigated the contamination of groundwater and the lowering of the groundwater level in an area surrounding a tunnel excavation site for the Andong-Yeongdeok national road, using a forensic hydrogeological technique. We reviewed the groundwater level and water quality of well GW1 in the area surrounding the tunnel excavation site as well as tunnel construction information and then we analyzed the correlations among the obtained data. Before tunnel excavation, the water level of well GW1 was lower than the tunnel elevation. Considering the relationship between the precipitation, tunnel discharge, tunnel depth, and groundwater level of well GW1, the groundwater flowed from the tunnel to well GW1. Moreover, the tunnel discharge and groundwater levels were not related to each other. The pH of well GW1 was 8.4 before tunnel excavation. During excavation, the pH declined to 8.1-8.2 at the beginning, and increased to 8.8 at the end of the excavation. The fluorine concentration in well GW1 was 2.49 mg/L, 1.91-3.22 mg/L, and 1.7-2.67 mg/L, respectively, before, during, and after the excavation. The sulfate ion concentration was very high, over 2,000 mg/L, before and during the excavation; after the excavation, it was between 200 and 323 mg/L. Turbidity was 1.47, 10.5, and 4.51 NTU before, during, and after tunnel excavation, respectively. Therefore, the excavation of this tunnel is not related to the groundwater quality of well GW1.
The proliferation of online customer reviews has completely changed how consumers purchase. Consumers now heavily depend on authentic experiences shared by previous customers. However, deceptive reviews that aim to manipulate customer decision-making to promote or defame a product or service pose a risk to businesses and buyers. The studies investigating consumer perception of deceptive reviews found that one of the important cues is based on review content. This study aims to investigate the impact of the information amount of review on the review truthfulness. This study adopted the Information Manipulation Theory (IMT) as an overarching theory, which asserts that the violations of one or more of the Gricean maxim are deceptive behaviors. It is regarded as a quantity violation if the required information amount is not delivered or more information is delivered; that is an attempt at deception. A topic modeling algorithm is implemented to reveal the distribution of each topic embedded in a text. This study measures information amount as topic diversity based on the results of topic modeling, and topic diversity shows how heterogeneous a text review is. Two datasets of restaurant reviews on Yelp.com, which have Filtered (deceptive) and Unfiltered (genuine) reviews, were used to test the hypotheses. Reviews that contain more diverse topics tend to be truthful. However, excessive topic diversity produces an inverted U-shaped relationship with truthfulness. Moreover, we find an interaction effect between topic diversity and reviews' ratings. This result suggests that the impact of topic diversity is strengthened when deceptive reviews have lower ratings. This study contributes to the existing literature on IMT by building the connection between topic diversity in a review and its truthfulness. In addition, the empirical results show that topic diversity is a reliable measure for gauging information amount of reviews.
