In connection with the plan for improving the residential environment gradually by analyzing the present condition of the reconstruction and parcel form of the housing area in a inner area, the main objective of this research is to develop a cooperative urban housing model based on the neighborhood agreement. The parcel form has a structure that is inappropriate for individual reconstruction; thus, the substantial improvement only through the residential environment improvement project has its limitations. As an alternative plan to resolve such limitations, I proposed a system that enables step-by-step reconstruction within the small-scaled blocks through the annexation of the land based on the neighborhood agreement. Nonetheless, I realized that it is difficult to apply such reconstruction system to individual housing. Therefore, I presented a design concept on the cooperative urban housing project as a residential form for the reconstruction inside blocks. A model plan vouches for its effectiveness. To apply substantially the cooperative urban housing plan based on the neighborhood agreement, we need to supplement the sectional plan system.

Green Frame is a building frame system composed of precast concrete columns and beams. For the construction to run smoothly, the quantity of frames should be estimated in the planning phase and a plan on production of members should be established in connection with the overall work plan. The algorithm for calculation of the amount of forms used in Green Frame automatically estimates the quantity of forms using the design structure prepared in the design phase. The number and area of forms are calculated using the member size drawn from the structure design. Based on the quantity calculated, the type and area per form size are estimated to be used in preparing BOQ (Bill of Quantity). Thus, the time required for architectural planning and design can be shortened when the algorithm for calculation of the amount of forms is applied. This study is on the basic research of calculating the quantity of forms using the structure design and of the algorithm for calculation of the amount of forms used for production of composite PC members.
This study analyzed about Banbitgan of Anchae in High-Class Housing in Hanseong-bu (漢城府), Latter Part of Joseon Dynasty, by the drawings of Jangseogak Library. which were drawn the figure of house in Hanseong-bu (漢城府), during from the middle part of 17th Century to the end of 19th Century. These drawings were drawn in the form of Gangado ((間架圖), the layout and floor plan, the function of room of each houses can be examined. Focusing on drawings which the room name was written among those drawings, ascertainable form of Banbitgan. This Study has treated particular houses which houses were verified form of Banbitgan. As the result, it was investigated that Anchae of upper class housing in Hanseong-bu (漢城府), as the place where large-scaled housework was managed, its attached space has ever been developed. Especially, in this Study, by means of concretely research on the space organization of Anchae along with space composition and connection method of Banbitgan, the upper-class housing in Hanseong-bu (漢城府), it was quite examinable on the architectural figure of the upper-class housing in Hanseong-bu (漢城府), During the latter part of the Joseon Dynasty, which was not known well in the meanwhile.
In these days, high dimensional data prediction technology based on neural network shows compelling results in many different kind of field including engineering. Especially, a lot of variants of convolution neural network are widely utilized to develop pixel level prediction model for high dimensional data such as picture, or physical field value from the sensors. In this study, velocity vector field of ideal flow on ship surface is estimated on pixel level by Unet. First, potential flow analysis was conducted for the set of hull form data which are generated by hull form transformation method. Thereafter, four different neural network with a U-shape structure were conFig.d to train velocity vectors at the node position of pre-processed hull form data. As a result, for the test hull forms, it was confirmed that the network with short skip-connection gives the most accurate prediction results of streamlines and velocity magnitude. And the results also have a good agreement with potential flow analysis results. However, in some cases which don't have nothing in common with training data in terms of speed or shape, the network has relatively high error at the region of large curvature.
Purpose: Higher Order Thinking Skills is one of the important aspects in education that must be mastered by the students in order to be qualified in competing at international level. Success in mastering HOTS among the students is always linked to preparation of a good and conducive learning environment. However, does this connection impacts the students' HOTS achievement? Therefore, this research is carried out in order to evaluate the relationship between HOTS and learning environment with the main focus on Accounting Principle Elective Subject (MPEI PP). Research design, data and methodology: Research in the form of correlation is implied in this study and it involves 59 Form 5 students that has learned all syllabus in Form 4's MPEI PP. Results: Evaluation of HOTS level is based on Taxonomy Bloom that covers applying skill, analysing skill, evaluating skill, and creating skill. Result from data analysis found that there is a very weak correlation (r = 0.02) between the two variables with regression equation of average grade point = 75.023 + (-.273) Learning Environment. Conclusion: Thus, a non-significant relationship between HOTS and learning environment is successfully proven through correlation and regression statistical analysis.
The recently published papers and essays regarding 'tectonic' bring us to rumination of its importance on comprehending modern architectural process. Many architectural theorists may seem to seek the substance of architecture through the discussion of 'tectonic' for the purpose of overcoming the dilemma of representation which can be easily found in modern architectural forms. Their emphasizing on its double-faced aspect as the manner of representation, that is semantic and aesthetic, may imply the significance of philosophical approach especially to the recent architectural phenomena. From this point, it ought to be meaningful to manifest etymological connection between the terms with semantic analysis and interpret the substance and ontological meaning of 'tectonic' referring Martin Heidegger's existential philosophy. Besides the works of Carlo Scarpa, that are known as the art of making, are exampled to prove the way how the ontological meaning of practical act is exposed on an artwork. The idea of 'tectonic' connotes not only technological aspect as construction of form and space, but also ontological aspect as joint or detail, that is the result of logos. The 'tectonic' means etymologically 'joint' having double-meaning structure, technology and aesthetics. It means 'detail' as minimum units of architectural form and as sites where making relationship or connection takes place in the way of ontological apprehension. The 'detail' as the place of innovation and invention implies the culture of an area, and expresses craftsmanship, which modem architecture buries in oblivion. This study aims to deviate from the aesthetical commercialization in which the modern architecture tends to fall, and further, propose the possible way to succeed traditional locality in an epistemological point of view.
This study was conducted to investigate optimum cultural conditions for Amanita hemibapha isolated in Korea and its hyphae characteristics. Micrographs shows the presence of clamp connection. A. hemibapha grows as mycelial form(M-phase) 2-4 ${\mu}m$ and yeast-like form(Y-phase) 7-8 ${\mu}m$. The fungal spores were broadly elliptical and papillate, 8-11 ${\times}$ 6-9 ${\mu}m$ in size. The nucleotide sequence analysis of the ITS of nuclear ribosomal DNA from sporocarps and in-vitro-grown mycelium supported the fungal species is Amanita hemibapha. A. hemibapha showed sequence similarity in the ITS rDNA with A. caesarea(97.5) and A. jacksonii(98.5%) which are morphologically similar species to A. hemibapha. The optimal pH and temperature for mycelial growth of A. hemibapha were pH 6.0 and $28^{\circ}C$, respectively. The fungal species showed best growth in SYP and GYS medium. A. hemibapha grew well with mannitol and glucose as carbon sources and peptone as a nitrogen source.
A railway station appears in the form of multi-use station building where cultural and commercial elements such as shopping and leisure are mixed, getting out of simple space configuration oriented to the space for station work, where a passenger stays for a little while. Now, a railway station is a place expanded to the inside of city, and builds a relationship with urban fabric, and therefore it should receive the social change in the time together with the surrounding infrastructure, and should inevitably form the urban environment. And it should become the 'Place' so as to be capable of playing a role of buffer and a role of regional gateway landmark by making users included in the inside through various uses with regard to the dispersed urban connection. Hence, this study is intended to examine the planning through the place branding of railway station. In the method of research, the characteristics that place branding had was investigated, and an analysis was made on the basis of 10 place branding strategic elements and 6 railway design guidelines. And it was intended to set a direction in which the existing place branding strategy could be applied to the railway station, and was intended to derive the place branding planning strategic elements of railway station. Hence, the planning can be classified into the following 5 kinds in connection with railway station. First, identity should be embodied through the strategy of constructing the symbolic image of railway station. Second, a role of mediating variously approaching flows in the city should be played. Third, the spatial layout of railway station, which can increase the efficiency of use, should be arranged. Fourth, special characteristics should be intensified through creative storytelling that stimulates emotion. Fifth, an organic change is gradually necessary for sustainability. These planning elements should be applied in harmonious combination. Therefore, a new railway station can be maded by building identity and placeness and by giving the value through these planning directions in the future.
This study deals with the reliability analysis approach of the temporary structure that can consider the uncertainty in rotational stiffness at the joints of the members, for which the semi-rigid connections are modelled as rotational spring and its coefficient is treated as a random variable following uniform distribution. In addition, this study introduces a computational procedure of the effective length coefficient for more accurate buckling load according to connection conditions of the supporting members attached to the joint. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the failure probability of the joint-hinge model (Case 1) presented in the design standard is higher than that of the practical model (Case 5) considering the rotational stiffness at the joints. This implies that the design standard leads to a conservative design of the temporary structure. The results also confirmed that the failure probability of the vertical member, i.e., the most critical member, can be further reduced when the base connection is provided with a fixed end. The comparative results between FORM, SORM and MCS further demonstrated that FORM can have a high level of numerical efficiency while ensuring the accuracy of the solution, compared with SORM and MCS. Based on these results, the proposed approach can be used as an accurate and efficient reliability analysis method of the three dimensional temporary structure.
The purpose of this study was to provide basic information about design guidelines of activity areas in elderly nursing facilities. For the study, the activity areas of 44 facilities in Korea were investigated to categorize their spatial compositions and forms, and then a case study about 19 facilities was conducted to analyse their hierarchical characteristics. The results of the study were as follows: First, the major type of spatial composition among 44 research facilities was concentration, but compartment type was the main among unit-care facilities. By the year, all the types of spatial composition were evenly distributed during recent five years, while concentration type was about 40% before 2003. Second, the major form of activity areas was hall or corridor extension for large group. But there was more alcove or separation form among small group spaces. Third, in the case analysis about hierarchical characteristics, hall and corridor extension form met the requirements of accessibility and openness of public and semi-public areas. On the other hand, separation form had a problem in satisfying both requirements. The semi-private areas, which were around the elderly bedrooms and the elderly were able to watch activities in, were not sufficient in many facilities. Fourth, the division of public and semi-public area was mainly by furniture, and the individuality of semi-private area was defined by dead-end place and corner seats of the window or the corridor. The diversity of semi-private area was likely to be appeared in connection or distribution type. On the basis of the results, the basic design guidelines for activity areas in elderly nursing facilities could be suggested as follows: On the whole, connection or distribution type in spatial composition is more efficient for hierarchical flow than concentration or compartment type is, especially in Korean facilities having many elderly residents per floor. In detail, the design of public and semi-public area should be focused on their openness and accessibility. The recommended forms of activity areas were hall or corridor extension in public area, and living room, corridor extension, or large corridor in semi-public area to effectively function as large or small group spaces. In semi-private areas, the spatial diversity and individuality should be considered.
