Primary lymphoma of the larynx is rare, accounting for less than 1% of all laryngeal neoplasm. Early symptoms are ambiguous and nonspecific, and confirmation of the diagnosis is often difficult. The aim of this study was to report the experience of our department in the management of these aggressive lesions, as they require special diagnostic and therapeutic attention. We enrolled 3 patients who diagnosis of lymphoma involving the larynx were retrospectively reviewed. The histopathological diagnosis revealed 1 case of diffuse large B cell lymphoma, and 2 case of NK-T cell lymphoma. Details of the presentation, diagnostic procedures, treatment, and outcome of these patients were presented. Primary laryngeal lymphoma is a rare entity. Early symptoms are subtle and nonspecific, and confirmation of the diagnosis is often difficult. Because of the rarity of this tumor type, the optimal management remains controversial and it seems that should be managed not as a distinct disease entity but as an unusual presentation of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, according to the recent treatment trends.

Object: To evaluate the efficiencies of the arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery which is Performed without the traction system in the lateral decubitus position. Methods: Twenty-nine cases of the arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery performed without the traction system in the lateral decubitus position were studied from February, 2002 to January, 2005. We performed a repair using the arthroscopic debridement and the arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, or using the mini-open incision technique after the confirmation of rotator cuff tear, then, the arthroscopic subacromial decompression was performed after the confirmation of subacromial lesions Results: We could easily find the subscapularis tear which was often overlooked in the arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery performed with the traction surgery by the relaxation of the subscapularis, as the arm position was internally rotate about 45 to 70 degrees from abducted position. We found that the operation time was reduced 14 minutes shorter than the operation time of the controlled group which had the surgery with the traction system on the average. We also found that there were no neurovascular complications from all cases. Conclusions: The arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery without traction system in the lateral decubitus position provided the better visual field, easy manipulation of the joint and reducing operation time.

Objective : The aim of the study is to determine the efficacy of indocyanine green (ICG) videoangiography for confirmation of vascular anastomosis patency in both extracranial-intracranial and intracranial-intracranial bypasses. Methods : Intraoperative ICG videoangiography was used as a surgical adjunct for 56 bypasses in 47 patients to assay the patency of intracranial vascular anastomosis. These patients underwent a bypass for cerebral ischemia in 31 instances and as an adjunct to intracranial aneurysm surgery in 25. After completion of the bypass, ICG was administered to assess the patency of the graft. The findings on ICG videoangiography were then compared to intraoperative and/or postoperative imaging. Results : ICG provided an excellent visualization of all cerebral arteries and grafts at the time of surgery. Four grafts were determined to be suboptimal and were revised at the time of surgery. Findings on ICG videoangiography correlated with intraoperative and/or postoperative imaging. Conclusion : ICG videoangiography is rapid, effective, and reliable in determining the intraoperative patency of bypass grafts. It provides intraoperative information allowing revision to reduce the incidence of technical errors that may lead to early graft thrombosis.

100여 년 동안 사용자 확인의 한 축을 담당해오던 비밀번호가 비대면 거래가 활성화 되면서 점차 제 기능을 다하지 못하여 이제 바뀔 때가 되었으며, 그 한 방편으로써 간접패스워드인 브레인키를 패스워드시스템에 적용하면 사용자의 패스워드의 해킹 등 다양한 유출 경로가 없으므로, 보다 안전한 전자 상거래를 활성화시킬 수 있다. 비밀번호는 현대인에게 있어서 생활필수품이므로 이에 대한 독점적 지위와 시장선점은 중요한 의미를 갖는다. 또한 비밀번호에 대한 문제는 국내에 국한 되지 않으므로 국내의 상업성은 일개 기업에 국한되지 않고 국제표준화를 선도할 수 있으므로 국가적 이익에도 부합된다. 본 연구에서는 전자상거래에서 발생하는 보안 솔루션을 제시하고자 한다.

The backward tracing scheme(BWT) of the finite element method has been extended lot the design of sheet blank in three-dimensional deformation. Originally the scheme was developed for preform design in bulk forming, and applied to several forming processes successfully. Its key concept is to trace backward from the final desirable configuration to an intermediate preform or initial blocker. A program for initial blank design in sheet forming which contains the capabilities of forward loading simulation by the finite element method and backward tracing simulation, has been developed and proved the effectiveness by applying to a square cup stamping process. In the blank design of square cup stamping, the backward tracing program can produce an optimum blank configuration which forms a sound net-shape cup product without machining after forming. For the confirmation of the analytic result derived from the backward tracing simulations as well as forward loading simulations, a series of experiment were carried out. The experiments include the first trial sheet forming process with a rectangular blank, an improved process with a modified blank preform and the final process with an optimum blank resulted from the backward tracing scheme. The experiments show that the backward tracing scheme has been implemented successfully in blank design of sheet metal forming.

The objective of this study was to validate performance characteristics of the Access 2 (Beckman coulter) system for hCG assays for use as a confirmation test for doping control. The Access 2 assay was linear up to 500 IU/L. The correlation coefficient was higher than 0.999, and the sensitivity of the linearity was 0.82. There were no false positive or false negative cases. LOD was 0.59 IU/L. The method was robust when performed by different people. Repeatability and reproducibility were below 7%. We compared reproducibility and recoveries of Access 2 and Elecsys 2010. Access 2 demonstrated higher reproducibility than Elecsys 2010. Recoveries (accuracy) of Access 2 were between 85 and 105%. Recoveries for Elecsys 2010 were between 91 and 104%.

Over the last 20 years, women's development has been ambiguous. According to Freud, the mother-daughter relationship has been considered as an essential component of women's development. This study investigated how the mourning experience from daughters who were separated from their mothers by death offers any meaningful idea to women's life. For Hermeneutic phenomenology, researchers collected data from three women who have lost their mothers through in-depth interviews and drawing pictures with each of them. As a result, this study found that daughters started to fight with their mothers' death from the moment when they were informed. They also experienced a symbolic death until the moment of their mothers' death and even after the confirmation of their mothers' death. Daughters experienced symbolic death, both emotionally and physically as well as familiar experiences with their mothers through the repeated confirmation of death. However, these experiences encouraged daughters to adapt to the reality that was the absence of their mothers through the processes such as "Reflection," "Living in the Center of My life," and "Another Embrace." Through this new perspective, attempts, and relationships, daughters form a new identity and experience 'rebirth'. These daughters' changes were paradoxically strengthened through their resistances towards changes of reformation of themselves.

This study investigates the impact of tweets on box office revenue. Specifically, the study focuses on the times when tweets were written by examining the impact of pre- and post-consumption tweets on box office revenue; an examination that is based on Expectation Confirmation Theory. The study also investigates the impact of intention tweets versus subjective tweets and the impact of negative tweets on box office revenue. Targeting 120 movies released in the US between February and August 2012, this study collected tweet information on a daily basis from two weeks before the opening until the closing and box office revenue information. The results indicate that the disconfirmation that occurs in relation to the total number of pre-consumption tweets for a movie has a negative impact on box office revenue. This premise suggests that the formation of higher expectations of a movie does not always result in positive results in situations where tweets on perceived movie quality after watching spread rapidly. This study also reveals that intention tweets have stronger effects on box office revenue than subjective tweets.
