이 연구의 목적은 학습자 활동 중심 과학수업 프로그램을 개발하고, 초등학교 4학년 학생들에게 적용하여 학생들의 과학에 대한 태도, 학업성취도 및 개념 지속성에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 '화산과 지진'에 관련한 초등학교 4학년 교과 내용을 12차시에 걸쳐 재구성을 진행하였으며, 두 집단으로 학급을 나눈 다음 비교집단에는 일반적인 과학수업을 적용하였고, 실험집단에는 글쓰기, 만들기, 표현하기 등 학습자중심활동이 포함된 프로그램을 수업에 적용하였다. 적용 전과 후 두 집단에 과학에 대한 태도, 학업 성취도, 개념 지속성을 알아보기 위한 마인드맵의 자료를 수집하고 마인드맵 채점기준을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 실험집단과 비교집단의 사후 검사 결과 과학에 대한 태도의 하위영역인 인식, 능력, 가치, 흥미지속성에서 모두 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 나타냈는데, 특히 흥미지속성에서 가장 차이가 큰 것으로 분석되었다. 학업성취도와 관련해서는 사후 성취도 검사 결과 실험집단이 비교집단보다 평균 점수가 높았으며, 사전 성취도 검사 결과와 비교할 때에도 실험집단은 평균 점수의 향상이 확인되었다. 또한 사후 성취도 검사 결과 두 집단은 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 사후 성취도 검사 이후 실시한 개념 지속성 검사에서는 실험집단이 비교집단보다 마인드맵 분석의 평가 기준인 중심원, 가지, 표현 영역에서 모두 평균 점수가 높았으며, 가지 영역을 제외한 두 영역에서 모두 통계적으로 두 집단이 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 따라서 학습자 활동 중심 과학수업은 과학에 대한 태도, 학업성취도 및 학생들의 개념 지속성에 효과가 있었다. 학습자 활동 중심 과학수업을 실제 교육 현장에서 적극적으로 도입하고 활용한다면 교실수업을 개선시키는 데에 효과가 있으리라 기대된다.

In the 21st century numerous universities continue to have an interest in building a more sustainable campus. The concept related to sustainable development and sustainability is applied to new master plan of university or university building planning. The field of sustainable development can be conceptually broken into three constituent parts: environmental sustainability, economic sustainability and social sustainability. The realization of sustainable development will become when considered eco-friendly life of users, not only environmentally friendly technologies. This study aims to research the method of sustainable access to university building planning in Europe and Canada. First, certification and standards will focused on acquisition Green Building Certification. Then we look at trends of sustainability based on users and community through the system of prior consultation between university and users. For the desirable development of the sustainable campus, the sustainable planning of campus should be investigated with campus community, members and local residents considering the generation, the preservation, the maintenance of existing building.

Sustainable development has been praised as important new planning paradigm. The concept is being increasingly used in planning processes to address environmental, social and economic sustainable development. The social sustainability is important as community in modern life. The purpose of this study is to find out the community elements of sustainable housing to make it better life in residential environment. The Methods are content analysis and experts survey. We execute the literature for method to find the importance and indicator of social sustainability. We execute the experts survey to find the adequacy of the classification criteria, the adequacy of the indicators and the adequacy of the classification system. The findings of this study are as following; the social sustainability is important to support the sustainable housing planning. The indicator of the social sustainability is deduced; 'Locality' are deduced 'Native support', 'History and culture' and 'Reflected the local characteristics'. 'Communality' are deduced 'Citizen participation', 'Social integration', 'Community space and facilities' and 'community activities and programs'. 'Organic' are deduced 'Employment', 'Self-sufficiency', 'Safety and convenience', 'Infrastructure and service' and 'Housing condition'.

Climate change and global warming are the biggest challenges of the current generation. Every industry has contributed to the climate change and global warming. Even the apparel industry cannot avoid the criticism regarding fast fashion and its contribution to the pollution. The transition to the decarbonized economy is in progress. All aspects of business functions are influenced by climate change. Sustainable development and climate change are closely linked, and business plays the key role in addressing and finding solutions to the challenges of climate change. Luxury brands are the trendsetters and tastemakers. They are the leaders in the fashion industry and therefore responsible for improving on sustainability as well. Even luxury business cannot avoid environmental issues. The relation between luxury and sustainability is explored with the Burberry case based on the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework. There are various ways for luxury brands to excel in sustainability and affect other companies' practices. The companies can incorporate the concept of sustainability in their brand stories as part of the branding process. They can also improve demand planning accuracy and produce upcycled goods. Centering on Burberry's case, this paper aims to explore the current sustainable practices of luxury business along with its future direction toward sustainable development. Its contribution and directions for both researchers and business practitioners are discussed.

In this paper, the concept of sustainability was applied to mechanical design and manufacturing of mobile-phone case. A new evaluation method to find products' good and weak point for sustainability was developed. Two mobile phones were evaluated using the evaluation tool. As a result, electro-magnetic (EM) wave was considered as a harmful factor of the products, and improved front panel was made using nano particles that absorb EM waves. The EM shielding tests revealed that silver nano powders absorbed EM while MWCNT had no effect.

Growing concern and technical improvement in the housing industry has promoted continuous customization to be the most significant parameter for ecological and social sustainability of housing. The basic principle of Open Building is based on the concept of sustainability, but the theoretical relationship of the open housing system in terms of environmental architecture has not been examined profoundly yet. In order to generate an overall approach toward sustainable housing, a further alignment between Open Building and sustainability should be established. Therefore, this study aims at the establishment of the theoretical relationship between Open Housing system and environmental architecture, and the examination of Open Housing system in terms of sustainability for the suggestion of the future development in housing environment.

The issue of sustainability has been prevailed not only in building industry but also all other industries. It has been raised that the concept of sustainability should take into account for the design of multi-use high-rise apartments. In this study, the present situation and trends of the multi-use high-rise apartment construction have been reviewed. The definition of sustainable design of high-rise apartment has been clarified so as to perceive the related design elements through the literature survey. Finally this study has derived the sustainable design elements of high-rise apartment unit plans through the comparative analysis of sustainable design guidelines, environmentally friendly building accreditation systems and literature survey in and abroad.

The purpose of this study is to identify the important evaluatio items for developing the environmental sustainability indices of housing estate. In this research, the principles of environmental sustainability were established on the concept of ESSD, and twenty-two evaluation items were explored on the basis of questionnaire of experts, the twenty-two items are ranked in order of iportant level and it is a appeared that 'development density' is most iportant evaluation item. In conclusion, twelve important items were selectd; 'development density', 'preservation of natural forest and topography' , 'amount of green area', 'reduction of water pollution','reuse of wastes','garbage discharge','reduction of air pollution','distribution of land use','rainwater infiltraton and preservaton of underground water','site planning for energy saving','separated collection of wastes','access to natural forest andwaters around housing estate'

Hotels have recently started to implement enterprise information systems to measure and report sustainability indicators in a smart manner. However, a complex ownership structure in a hotel chain prevents full smart systems adoption at the individual property level. This study explores how a smart sustainability performance measurement system (SPMS) for waste management adoption correlates with customer ratings, customer reviews, operational efficiency scores, and between franchised and corporate-managed properties. We derive insights from the secondary data constructed from multiple sources for a large multinational hotel chain hotel. The findings suggest that hotels that adopt SPMS have better operational efficiency scores and more customer reviews. Within the hotels that adopted SPMS, corporate-managed hotels have a lower level of ratings than franchised hotels, but they have higher operational efficiency scores and more reviews. We discuss research implications for the concept of smart tourism and hotel management literature and managerial implications.

지속가능성은 경제적, 사회적 그리고 환경적 이슈를 아우르는 광의의 개념으로 해석된다. 이 논문은 2013년 초 부산항에서 수행한 인터뷰를 기반으로 항만운영의 지속가능 활동을 개념화함으로써 국제항만 운영의 지속가능성 확보를 위한 전략적 의사결정을 돕고 또한 향후 관련 연구에 초석을 마련하고자 한다. 빈도 및 패턴 분석을 이용하여, 지속가능 활동은 환경친화적 기술, 지속적인 관리와 향상, 내적 성장, 대화와 협력 등을 포함하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 분석결과, 항만 및 항만관계자의 현재와 미래 요구사항을 수용할 수 있는 전략적/운영적 활동으로서의 지속가능 활동의 역할이 확인되었다. 지속가능 활동을 실천하는데 있어서 나타나는 장벽과 도전과제를 보여줌으로써, 연구결과는 항만이 지속가능 활동을 도입하고 실천하도록 하는 전략적 과제에 대한 유용한 정보을 제공한다.
