  • This study concentrates on a new idea that is formulated as a creative space recognition in contemporary architecture and painting. It is stimulated from Deleuze's philosophy, which is expressed with the philosophical instrument, "Non-Representation". After discussing the concept of non-representation used in Deleuze's philosophy, case example in contemporary architecture are analysed to comparatively Investigate the relationship between the architectures by Rem Koolhaas and painting by Francis Bacon. Therefore, he founds expressions of "diagram" and "movement" in painting of F. Bacon. Diagram meansit is a power that is comprised of various points of wiew with the kind experiences that one has in life. Movement that were extracted form the Instrument in space recognition of Deleuze's panting theory were of topology, insertion of geometry, reiteration of layers, transparency and translucency, reflection effect.

  • This research examined he effects on preschool children's recognition of and attitude towards earth's nature of an early childhood environmental education program using children's literature. The subjects were 36 four-to six-year old children. The education program lasted for 8 weeks. Children were interviewed and surveyed about earth's nature, and the meanings of children's writings about nature were analyzed. The children who participated in this research showed a positive recognition of and attitudes towards the nature of the earth. Participants became keen observers of the world around them, examined the concept of change in nature, acquired knowledge about the earth through firsthand experiences, and developed caring attitudes for the natural world of the earth.

  • This article studied on international trade dispute of enforcement procedure of foreign arbitral awards at Korean Supreme Court, which is especially related to New York Convention article 5, The key points of most enforcement procedure were about public policy according New York Convention article 5, 2, b and New York Convention article 5, 1.   • This paper introduces a novel concept of 'Emotional Communication' for future smart phone. While traditional information based communication technologies focus on how to precisely transmit the content of message, emotional communication is intended to support and augment social relationship among people and to comfort the user to be happy. In this paper, we propose future communication services and core technologies which can estimate emotional desire of users and respond to the desire to be happy with connectedness and consolation from peoples. Firstly, we introduce emotion recognition techniques to estimate emotional desire of users. At second, the emotional responding services are categorized to four parts and the details are shown. Lastly we propose the process to implement emotional communication system and the main techniques to fulfill the system requirements for future smart-phone services.

  • This study focused the recognition and preference of Korean traditional food of elementary school students, in order to make effective educational materials about Korean traditional foods for the elementary school students. According to the responses of 356 elementary school students participating in this research, they understood the concept of traditional Korean food and recognized positively, but did not have much interest. However, the more they liked Korean food, the higher their interest in Korean traditional foods and the higher utilization rates of Korean traditional foods. Most elementary school students enjoyed Korean traditional food occasionally, especially soup, jjigae, tang and jeongol. Elementary school students suggested that complicated recipes should be improved for the succession of Korean traditional foods and that the class for cooking traditional foods in schools should be expanded.

  • Transform variation technique is constituted the vibration status of the flash-gap recognition level (FGRL) on the distribution recognition function. The recognition level condition by the distribution recognition function system is associated with the scattering vibration system. As to search a position of the dot model, we are consisted of the distribution value with character point by the output signal. The concept of recognition level is composed the reference of flash-gap level for variation signal by the distribution vibration function. For displaying a variation of the FGRL of the maximum-average in terms of the vibration function, and distribution position vibration that was the a distribution value of the far variation of the $Dis-rf-FA-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $5.74{\pm}1.12$ units, that was the a distribution value of the convenient variation of the $Dis-rf-CO-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $1.64{\pm}0.16$ units, that was the a distribution value of the flank variation of the $Dis-rf-FL-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $0.74{\pm}0.24$ units, that was the a distribution value of the vicinage variation of the $Dis-rf-VI-{\alpha}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $0.12{\pm}0.01$ units. The scattering vibration will be to evaluate at the ability of the vibration function with character point by the distribution recognition level on the FGRL that is showed the flash-gap function by the recognition level system. Behavioral Characteristics of Face Recognition for Self and Others in Patients with Social Phobia (사회공포증 환자에서 자기 및 타인 얼굴 인식의 행동 특성)

  • Objective : Social Phobia is associated with extensive disability and reduced quality of life. The concept of 'social self' is a representation of the self-reflected in the eyes of others, and is recruited during self-face recognition, which is closely related to self-esteem. The aim of this study was to identify the relationship of face recognition for self and others using measures of social anxiety and self-esteem in patients with social phobia. Methods : Twenty-seven patients with social phobia and twenty-three normal controls were evaluated with scales of self-esteem, depression, anxiety and other psychiatric symptoms. All participants completed the self-face recognition task. Nine self-faces, nine other faces and eighty-one morphed faces were presented randomly for each trial. The participants were instructed to make a decision as to whether the stimuli were self-face or not. The responses and reaction times were recorded during the task. Results : There were no group differences of the morphing composition at the recognition start point as self-face. In patients with social phobia, the mean reaction time at the start point of recognizing as a self-face was 1,037.6 ms, which was significantly longer than that of normal controls (911.3 ms, p<0.05). Patients with social phobia showed a significant negative correlation between the mean reaction time and the severity of depression when the stimuli were recognized as a self-face (r=-0.421, p<0.05). Conclusion : A difficulty in attention rather than avoidance may be an important factor of face recognition in patients with social phobia. When considering self-face recognition in such patients, many factors, such as anxiety, depression, working memory and theory of mind, need to be considered.

  • While increasing demand of the service for the disabled and the elderly people, assistive technologies have been developed rapidly. The natural signal of human such as voice or gesture has been applied to the system for assisting the disabled and the elderly people. As an example of such kind of human robot interface, the Soft Remote Control System has been developed by HWRS-ERC in $KAIST^[1]$. This system is a vision-based hand gesture recognition system for controlling home appliances such as television, lamp and curtain. One of the most important technologies of the system is the hand gesture recognition algorithm. The frequently occurred problems which lower the recognition rate of hand gesture are inter-person variation and intra-person variation. Intra-person variation can be handled by inducing fuzzy concept. In this paper, we propose multivariate fuzzy decision tree(MFDT) learning and classification algorithm for hand motion recognition. To recognize hand gesture of a new user, the most proper recognition model among several well trained models is selected using model selection algorithm and incrementally adapted to the user's hand gesture. For the general performance of MFDT as a classifier, we show classification rate using the benchmark data of the UCI repository. For the performance of hand gesture recognition, we tested using hand gesture data which is collected from 10 people for 15 days. The experimental results show that the classification and user adaptation performance of proposed algorithm is better than general fuzzy decision tree.

Case Study on Teaching Practice for Biological Adaptation of Elementary School Teachers: Focus on the Influence of Teacher's Guide and Teachers' Understanding and Belief of Biological Evolution (초등교사의 생물의 적응에 관한 수업에서 나타난 교수실행 사례 연구 -교사용 지도서와 교사의 진화 개념 이해 및 신념의 영향을 중심으로-)

  • In this study, we examine whether the description of the elementary science curriculum guide, the concept of evolution, and the beliefs of teachers affect the teaching practice in classes related to adaptation of elementary school teachers. First, we examined the alternative concept among the sentences described in the bio-adaptation-related unit of the 2009 Elementary Science Curriculum Teacher's Guide and identified the effects of this description on the teaching practice of elementary school teachers. Next, six elementary school teachers were classified according to the results of the evolutionary concept test paper and the evolutionary belief test paper, and based on the class recording data and interview data, whether there is a difference in teaching execution. As a result, it was confirmed that there were a total of 18 descriptions corresponding to the concept of evolutionary alternatives in the analysis of instruction descriptions, and that these descriptions influenced elementary school teachers' adaptation concepts and teaching practice. Next, the group with high and low levels of evolution differ in the areas of "recognition of importance in the unit, distinction between adaptation concepts in the general sense and adaptation concepts in the biological sense, errors in the class," and "recognition of evolutionary education needs in the elementary curriculum." This study is meaningful in that it qualitatively confirms the research on the evolution concept of elementary school teachers, which has been approached quantitatively, and in-depth, confirms how the description, evolution concepts, and evolutionary beliefs affect elementary school teachers' biological adaptation concepts.
