In digital mobile communication system, the transmission errors affect the quality of output speech seriously. There are many error concealment techniques using a posteriori probability which provides information about any transmitted parameter. They need knowledge about channel transition probability as well as the 1st order Markov transition probability of codec parameters for estimation of transmitted parameters. However, in applications of mobile communication systems, the channel transition probability varies depending on nonstationary channel characteristics. The mismatch of designed channel transition probability of the estimator to actual channel transition probability degrades the performance of the estimator. In this paper, we proposed a new parameter estimator which adapts to the channel characteristics using short time average of maximum a posteriori probabilities(MAPs). The proposed scheme, when applied to the LSP parameter estimation, performed better than the conventional estimator which do not adapt to the channel characteristics.

JPEG2000[1][2]은 DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform)[3] 변환을 기반으로 하는 이미지의 새로운 표준으로 오류가 빈번히 발생하는 네트워크상의 전송을 위한 오류 제어 기법들을 제공한다. JPEG2000에서 제공하는 오류 제어 기법은 스트림 내에서 오류를 발견하고 오류 전파를 제어하지만, 손실된 웨이블릿 계수를 복원하지는 못한다. 본 논문에서는 DWT 변환 후 각 부대역 및 이웃의 상호 연관성을 이용하여 오류로 인해 손실된 웨이블릿 계수를 효과적으로 예측하여 이미지의 화질을 향상시키는 오류 은닉 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법의 성능을 무선네트워크 환경에서 모의 실험한 결과 기존의 오류 제어 기법보다 성능이 뛰어났고 특히 이미지 내의 변화가 적은 경우 부대역 및 이웃 웨이블릿 계수의 상호 연관성이 크므로 더욱 효과적인 성능을 보였다.

본 논문에서는 H.264 표준 통영상 부호화 방식을 위한 순차적 움직임 벡터 오류 은닉 기법을 제안한다. H.264 표준 동영상 부호화 방식에서의 움직임 예측과정이 다양한 크기의 서브 매크로 블록 모드에 따라 자기 다른 움직임 벡터 개수를 갖게 되므로 움직임 벡터는 기존의 표준 부호화 방식에 비해 상대적으로 적은 영역을 대표하게 된다. 그러므로 이웃한 블록의 움직임 벡터간의 상관관계는 서브 매크로 블록의 크기가 작을수록 더 커지게 된다. 변화된 국부 통계 특성에 대한 적응도는 $\alpha-trimed\;mean$ 필터를 이용한 부호기의 부호화 순서를 따르는 순차적 움직임 벡터 오류 은닉기법의 성능을 좌우하는 가장 중요한 부분이다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안한 방식이 실시간 동영상 전송에 적합하며 기존 방식과 유사한 성능을 보임을 확인할 수 있었다

Since the government is fully aware of the specificity and importance of the healthcare field, it operates bureaucracy and affiliated organizations composed of many government ministries and experts and is also handling the related bureaus. However, recent incidents of humidifier disinfectant not only make these government activities unreliable but also cause disappointment to many people. Why did not the government take active measures to ensure product safety? But why was the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) able to speed up the identification of the cause and the recovery of the product? The purpose of this study is to clarify the behavioral mechanisms of government intervention by comparing the behaviors of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the KCDC. Then, we will discuss the desirable government structure.

본 논문에서는 블록 기반의 영상압축에 있어서 선택적 방향성 보간을 이용하는 공간적 에러 은닉 기법을 제안한다. 기존의 공간적 경계 정합 기법은 에지가 단순한 영역에서는 좋은 성능을 보이지만, 손실 블록 내에서 에지의 변화가 큰 영역에서는 좋지 못한 성능을 보인다. 제안된 기법은 이웃한 상하 블록들을 이용하여 에지의 연결성을 추정하고, 이에 따라 공간적 경계정합 기법과 이동 스트라이프 정합 기법을 선택적으로 이용한다. 따라서 에지변화에 적응적으로 대응함으로써 우수한 복원영상을 구할 수 있다. 제안된 기법은 슬라이스 단위의 에러에 대해 적합한 방식으로써, 복잡도가 낮을 뿐만 아니라 객관적 주관적으로 우수한 복원 화질을 얻게 해준다.

VoIP를 이용한 인터넷 전화에서 패킷 손실로 인한 음질 저하는 큰 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 VoIP에서 가장 많이 쓰이는 코덱 중 하나인 G.729 에서의 기존 패킷 손실 복구 방법들을 살펴보고 성능을 개선하고자 한다. 제안한 방법은 보간법의 적용을 위해 LSP 파라미터와 FCB 이득 파라미터의 미래값을 추정하며, 연속된 패킷 손실에서의 파라미터 자연성을 높이기 위해 LSP 파라미터와 ACB 길이 파라미터를 선택적으로 3차 spline 보간한다. TMIT 등의 환경에서 기존의 방법과 제안한 방법의 SD를 비교하여 객관적 평가를 수행하였고, 실험 결과 제안한 방법으로 성능이 개선됨을 확인하였다.

In the communications systems with diversity, we are commonly faced on needing of new source coding technique, error resilient coding. The error resilient coding addresses the coding algorithm that has the robustness to unreliability of communications channel. In recent years, many error resilient coding techniques were proposed such as data partitioning, resynchronization, error detection, concealment, reference picture selection and multiple description coding (MDC). In this paper, we proposed an MDC using whitening transform. The conventional MDC using correlating transform is need additional information to decode the image. But, if an image is transformed using the whitening transform, the additional information is not necessary to transform because the coefficients of whitening transform have uni-variance statistics.

In this paper, we propose an efficient video streaming method to improve quality of service (QoS) over wireless 3G network. In the proposed method, the video stream is adopted in various available bandwidth (AB) using dynamic frame skipping (DFS). In addition, error concealment (EC)compensates the video degradation by transmitting the MVs of the skipped frame. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method provides better QoS for video stream than the conventional methods.

Purpose: This study attempted to grasp the significance of high school boys smoking experiences, and to define its structure, then utilizing the results to create effective nursing intervention in order to protect students from smoking habit. Method: This study is based on a phenomenological approach. A group of eight male high school students who had experience in smoking were selected as the subject of this study. Intimate interview with participatory observation were carried out from them and the resulted data were analyzed by Giorgi's method as below. Result: The male high school students’smoking experiences were found to be a direct result from the environments around them and misty curiosity, masculinity, maintenance of close relations with peers, habitualness, stress relief, and concealment from the family. Conclusion: The result indicates that the male high school students' smoking, especially in an aspect from its starting point, motivational perspective, from the early stage of childhood as possible.

에러 발생율이 높은 이동 통신 채널 환경에서는 부호화된 비디오 스트림 전송시 발생된 채널 에러는 비디오 화질에 큰 영향을 줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서 현재 널리 사용되고 있는 H.263 부/복호화기에서 전송도중 에러가 발생했을 경우 추가적인 데이터 삽입 없이 효율적으로 에러를 은닉할 수 있는 기법에 관하여 제안하였다. 특히, 영상신호는 대개 인트라 픽쳐와 인터 픽쳐로 크게 구분되는데, 이들 중 부호화된 스트림에서 발생빈도가 놀은 인터 픽쳐에 대한 오류은닉을 우선적으로 목표로 하였다. 인터 프레임 픽쳐에서 DFD나 움직임벡터 손실시, 정확히 복원된 손실된 매크로블럭에 인접한 주변 픽셀 4*4을 이용해서 이전픽쳐에서 움직임벡터을 추정하고, 추정된 움직임 벡터을 가지고 손실된 매크로블록을 복원한다. 이때 주변블럭의 움직임벡터 추정시 소요되는 계산량은 충분히 디코더측에서 수용한다는 전제하에서 실험하였다.
