A Soil Nail is a structural element which provides load-transfer to the ground in excavation reinforcement applications. The nail may simply consist of a steel tendon, but most commonly the tendon is encapsulated in a cement grouted body to provide corrosion protection and improved load- transfer to the ground. For temporary excavation support in a congested urban area, the steel bar of Soil Nails should be removed to get permission of the private land to install Soil Nails. Several removable nail systems were developed and evaluated by pull-out load tests. The Soil Nail pull-out tests were performed on five nails installed in soft and hard rock at a 00 housing-redevelopment area in seoul. Two nails are plastic socket type and two are complex socket type mixed steel and plastic. The nail was 0.1mm in diameter, 4m long. In this study verification tests, and steel bar removing tests of plastic socket type nails and complex socket type nails were performed and presented.

Objectives: This study determined the effect of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) on extraction socket bone regeneration and assessed the patterns and determinants of bone regeneration after the surgical extraction of impacted mandibular third molars. Materials and Methods: This prospective study randomly allocated 90 patients into two treatment groups: A PRF group (intervention group) and a non-PRF group (control group). After surgical extractions, the PRF group had PRF placed in the extraction socket and the socket was sutured, while the socket was only sutured in the non-PRF group. At postoperative weeks 1, 4, 8, and 12, periapical radiographs were obtained and HLImage software was used to determine the region of newly formed bone (RNFB) and the pattern of bone formation. The determinants of bone regeneration were assessed. Statistical significance was set at P<0.05. Results: The percentage RNFB (RNFB%) was not significantly higher in the PRF group when compared with the non-PRF group at postoperative weeks 1, 4, 8, and 12 (P=0.188, 0.155, 0.132, and 0.219, respectively). Within the non-PRF group, the middle third consistently exhibited the highest bone formation while the least amount of bone formation was consistently observed in the cervical third. In the PRF group, the middle third had the highest bone formation, while bone formation at the apical third was smaller compared to the cervical third at the 8th week with this difference widening at the 12th week. The sex of the patient, type of impaction, and duration of surgery was significantly associated with percentage bone formation (P=0.041, 0.043, and 0.018, respectively). Conclusion: Placement of PRF in extraction sockets increased socket bone regeneration. However, this finding was not statistically significant. The patient's sex, type of impaction, and duration of surgery significantly influenced the percentage of bone formation.
Set in constant increase and period current of lively technical development of railroad use and construction of cable stayed bridge railway bridge, one of bridge form of most suitable that think side police officer and the material enemy of bridge that use long rail, is increasing laying stress on the foreign countries. Main tower fixing department of this cable stayed bridge is consisted of main tower flange that support bearing plate, bay ring plate bearing plate, support end rib and diaphragm etc, as stress transmission mechanic that tensility of cable socket into normal force of main tower, and is used this time. These structural elements is very complex the structure and direction of load delivered from socket specially calbe particularly be different, and need FEM analysis that use Thick Shell element for suitable arrangement of mutual stress flowing grasping and absence that follow hereupon because all of the each support plate angle that suport this differ.
Genetic alsorithm (GA) , compared to the gradient-based optimization, has advantages of convergence to a global optimized solution. The genetic algorithm requires so many number of analyses that may cause high computational cost for genetic search. This paper proposes a personal computer network programming based on TCP/IP protocol and client-server model using socket, to improve processing speed of the genetic algorithm for optimization of composite laminated structures. By distributed processing for the generated population, improvement in processing speed has been obtained. Consequently, usage of network-based genetic algorithm with the faster network communication speed will be a very valuable tool for the discrete optimization of large scale and complex structures requiring high computational cost.

Existing large-scale complex programs usually reside In a single computer, and the user has to be physically in contact with the computer. With the wide spread use of the internet, the need to carry out the design and analysis tasks geographically away from the main computer is increasing. In this paper existing Windows-based propeller design and analysis package is separated into the server-client modules and the protocol program is developed to implement the communication between multi-client computers and a single server computer. A new protocol packet is designed to use the Windows socket and the server/client programs control the receive/send operations using the information transmitted in the packet. Test runs show that the remote user, connected to the server computer through the internet only, can perform the required tasks.
In order to maximize an efficient management of human cell resource under the cryogenic environments, in this paper, a middleware is introduced to support the function for multiple-perceiving RFID tags of intelligent sample case which can share medical information between sensor network devices. Optimized user interface is also designed for that. On based of the designing, special tasks required of a genetic resource working process can be processed on Complex Machine.

Drilled shafts are a common foundation solution for large concentrated loads. Such piles are generally constructed by drilling through softer soils into rock and the section of the shaft which is drilled through rock contributes most of the load bearing capacity. Drilled shafts derive their bearing capacity from both shaft and base resistance components. The length and diameter of the rock socket must be sufficient to carry the loads imposed on the pile safely without excessive settlements. The base resistance component can contribute significantly to the ultimate capacity of the pile. However, the shaft resistance is typically mobilized at considerably smaller pile movements than that of the base. In addition, the base response can be adversely affected by any debris that is left in the bottom of the socket. The reliability of base response therefore depends on the use of a construction and inspection technique which leaves the socket free of debris. This may be difficult and costly to achieve, particularly in deep sockets, which are often drilled under water or drilling slurry. As a consequence of these factors, shaft resistance generally dominates pile performance at working loads. The efforts to improve the prediction of drilled shaft performance are therefore primarily concerned with the complex mechanisms of shaft resistance development. The shaft resistance only is concerned in this study. The nature of the interface between the concrete pile shaft and the surrounding rock is critically important to the performance of the pile, and is heavily influenced by the construction practices. In this study, the influences of asperity characteristics such as the heights and angles, the strength characteristics and elastic constants of surrounding rock masses and the depth and length of rock socket, et. al. on the shaft resistance of drilled shafts are investigated from elasto-plastic analyses( FLAC). Through the parametric studies, among the parameters, the vertical stress on the top layer of socket, the height of asperity and cohesion and poison's ratio of rock masses are major influence factors on the unit peak shaft resistance.
HLA is made for interoperability and reusability as distributed system framework under DMSO. RTI provides the necessary services for message transmission, object management as HLA 's understructure. But its performance can decrease as it becomes larger and more complex because of communication overhead. To solve this problem, RTI and TCP socket are partially used during data exchange and OMM is designed to efficiently manage objects. The efficiency of the proposed method is proved through simulation when it is applied to an air traffic control simulation based on HLA/RTI.

The appropriate treatment for eruption guide of impacted teeth necessitates the formulation of a comprehensive treatment plan, which is dependent upon a number of factors such as the condition of the deciduous teeth, dental and skeletal relationship, dental age of the patient, willingness of the patient to undergo extensive dental treatment and financial considerations. If the etiology of the eruption disturbance has been identified, the elimination of the causes and various procedures can be used for eruption guide. Particularly the transplantation is a valuable alternative to extraction of impacted teeth, where surgical exposure and subsequent orthodontic realignment are difficult or impossible. This report present three cases of autotransplantation of impacted maxillary canine. As the result in these cases, atraumatic removal of donor tooth during operation is prerequisite to an optimal clinical result. Due to a high possibility of pulp necrosis, endodontic treatment of fully developed transplanted teeth should be undertaken. In complex case, autotransplantation can save time and less expensive than orthodontic forced eruption. Recipient socket should be prepared to a size that is slightly larger than the root of the donor tooth, and can be prepared with open or close procedure depends on root size of donor tooth and buccolingual width at transplantion site.
In case of drilled shafts installed by drilling through soft overburden onto a strong rock, the piles can be regarded as end-bearing elements and their working load is determined by the safe working stress on the pile shaft at the point of minimum cross-section or by code of practice requirements. Drilled shafts drilled down for some depth into weak or weathered rocks and terminated within these rocks act partly as friction and partly as end-bearing piles. The efforts to improve the prediction of drilled shaft pile performance are therefore primarily concerned with the complex mechanisms of shaft resistance development. In this study, the numerical analyses are carried out to investigate the behavior characteristics of side of rock socketed drilled shafts varying the loading condition at the pile head. The difference of behavior characteristics of side resistance is also evaluated with the effects of modelling of asperity.
