QRS검출에 의한 ECG분석 기능을 갖춘 무선센서노드를 활용한 u-헬스케어 시스템 (An u-healthcare system using an wireless sensor node with ECG analysis function by QRS-complex detection)

  • Small size real-time ECG signal analysis function by QRS-complex detection was put into sensor nodes. Wireless sensor nodes attached on the patient’s body transmit ECG data continuously in normal u-healthcare system. So there are heavy communication traffics between sensor nodes and gateways. New developed platform for real-time analysis of ECG signals on sensor node can be used as an advanced diagnosis and alarming system for healthcare. Sensor node does not need to transmit ECG data all the time in wireless sensor network and to server PC via gateway. When sensor node detects suspicion or abnormality in ECG, then the ECG data in the network was transmitted to the server PC for further powerful analysis. This system can reduce data packet overload and save some power in wireless sensor network. It can also increase the server performance.

  • The current meaning of "Big Data" refers to all the techniques for value eduction and actionable analytics as well management tools. Particularly, with the advances of wireless sensor networks, they yield diverse patterns of digital records. The records are mostly semi-structured and unstructured data which are usually beyond of capabilities of the management tools. Such data are rapidly growing due to their complex data structures. The complex type effectively supports data exchangeability and heterogeneity and that is the main reason their volumes are getting bigger in the sensor networks. However, there are many errors and problems in applications because the managing solutions for the complex data model are rarely presented in current big data environments. To solve such problems and show our differentiation, we aim to provide the solution of actionable analytics and semantic reusability in the sensor web based streaming big data with new data structure, and to empower the competitiveness.

  • 본 연구는 가정 내에서 사용하는 가전 기기의 사용 에너지를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 비접촉 가전 기기 식별 기법을 제시한다. 제안하는 기법은 총 전력 사용량 정보를 이용한 기존의 가전 기기 식별 기법을 개선하기 위해서 복합 센서 정보를 종합적으로 활용한다. 이를 위해서 기기 상태와 측정된 센서 값 간의 영향도를 그래프 형태로 정의한다. 기기 상태에 영향을 미치는 복합 센서를 표현하는 영향도 그래프를 통해 기기 식별 예측 결과를 계산하기 위해 총 전력 사용량 기반 예측값과 센서 데이터 처리 알고리즘 예측값의 가중치 합을 사용한다. 시뮬레이션 실험을 통한 성능 분석으로 기존 비접촉 가전 기기 식별 기법의 기기 식별 정확도와 비교한다.

  • In this paper, Wireless sensor network technology applied to various greenhouse agro-industry items such as horticulture and local specialty etc., we was constructed automatic control system for optimum growth environment by measuring growth status and environmental change. existing monitoring systems of greenhouse gather information about growth environment depends on the temperature. but in this system, Can be efficient collection and control of information to construct wireless sensor network by growth measurement sensor and environment monitoring sensor inside of the greenhouse. The system is consists of sensor manager for information processing, an environment database that stores information collected from sensors, the GUI of show the greenhouse status, it gather soil and environment information to soil and environment(including weather) sensors, growth measurement sensor. In addition to support that soil information service shows the temperature, moisture, EC, ph of soil to user through the interaction of obtained data and Complex Growth Environment information service for quality and productivity can prevention and response by growth disease or disaster of greenhouse agro-industry items how temperature, humidity, illumination acquiring informationin greenhouse(strawberry, ginseng). To verify the executability of the system, constructing the complex growth environment measurement system using wireless sensor network in greenhouse and we confirmed that it is can provide our optimized growth environment information.

  • All image data acquisition systems for example the digital camera and digital camcorder, use the image sensor to convert the image data (light) into electronic data. These image sensors are used in satellite camera for high quality and resolution image data. There are two kinds of image sensors, the one is the CCD (charge coupled device) detector sensor and the other is the CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) image sensor. The CCD sensor control system has more complex than the CMOS sensor control system. For the high quality image data on CCD sensor, the precise timing control signal and the several voltage sources are needed in the control system. In this paper, the comparison of the CCD with CMOS sensor, the CCD sensor characteristic, and the control system will be described.

Design of an Intelligent Streetlight System in USN

  • In this paper, we propose an intelligent streetlight system that has a complex sensor module of temperature, humidity, luminance and motion detection and controlled by the fuzzy logic based central monitoring system in order to get flexible and precise manipulation of the streetlight system in USN environment. The proposed streetlight system provides low power consumption and high efficiency by using sensed data from the complex sensor module, which were collected, processed, and analyzed by the fuzzy logic based central monitoring system. The performance of the proposed streetlight system is to be evaluated by a simulation study in terms of power savings and safety at the fields constructed as a test-bed under several suggested scenarios. Finally, we know that the proposed intelligent streetlight system can maximize the energy savings efficiently with the fuzzy logic based central monitoring system and selective remote dimming control by connecting it to the wireless ubiquitous sensor network (USN) using a Zigbee module.

  • The fluorescence sensor is utilized to monitor the complex fluorescence patterns of intra- and extracellular components in cultivation processes. Especially biogenic fluorophores such as proteins and peptides (tryptophan, phenylalanine), coenzymes (FAD, NAD(P)H) and vitamins (riboflavin, pyridoxine) within cells are detected by a fluorescence sensor. In this work a 2-dimensional fluorescence sensor has been used to monitor a production process of itaconic acid by Aspergillus terreus and the on-line monitored spectra data can be con-elated to off-line data measured by a few methods.

  • In wireless mesh sensor networks (WMSNs), sensor nodes are connected in the form of a mesh topology and transfer sensor data by multi-hop routing. A data aggregation method for WMSNs is required to minimize the number of routing hops and the energy consumption of each node with limited battery power. This paper presents a shortest path data aggregation method for WMSNs. The proposed method utilizes a simple hash function based on shuffled row major indexing for addressing sensor nodes. This allows sensor data to be aggregated without complex routing tables and calculation for deciding the next hop. The proposed data aggregation algorithms work in a fractal fashion with different mesh sizes. The method repeatedly performs gathering and moves sensor data to sink nodes in higher-level clusters. The proposed method was implemented and simulations were performed to confirm the accuracy of the proposed algorithms.

  • This paper outlines a framework for a diagnosis of a complex system with uncertain information. Sensor validation ploys a vital role in the ability of the overall system to correctly determine the state of a system monitored by imperfect sensors. Here, emphases are put on the heuristic technology and post-processor for reasoning. Heuristic Sensor Validation (HSV) exploits deeper knowledge about parameter interaction within the plant to cull sensor faults from the data stream. Finally the modified probability distributions and validated data are used as input to the reasoning scheme which is the runtime version of the influence diagram. The output of the influence diagram is a diagnostic mapping from the symptoms or sensor readings to a determination of likely failure modes. Once likely failure modes are identified, a detailed diagnostic knowledge base suggests corrective actions to improve performance. This framework for a diagnostic expert system with sensor validation and reasoning under uncertainty applies in $HEATXPRT^{TM}$ a data-driven on-line expert system for diagnosing heat rate degradation problems in fossil power plants [1].

유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크를 위한 이벤트 처리 기법에 관한 연구 (A study on the event processing methods for ubiquitous sensor network)

  • RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)와 WSN(Wireless Sensor Network)은 기술적 유사성과 상호 영향에도 불구하고 별개의 연구로 인식되었으며 RFID와 WSN의 기술적인 융합에 대한 연구는 미비한 수준이다. 이러한 문제점을 인식한 EPCglobal에서는 국제 표준인 EPCglobal Network를 기반으로 RFID와 WSN 기술을 효율적으로 통합/연동할 수 있는 EPC(Electronic Produce Code) 센서 네트워크를 제안하였다. 제안된 EPC 센서 네트워크는 미들웨어에서 복합 이벤트 처리(Complex Event Processing) 기법을 이용하여 RFID와 WSN을 통해 발생되는 데이터를 단일 환경에서 통합하고, 발생된 이벤트를 EPC global Network를 기반으로 연동하는 기술이다. 하지만 이러한 EPC 센서 네트워크는 미들웨어에서 복합 이벤트를 검출하기 위해 복합 이벤트를 구성하는 모든 기본 이벤트가 발생하지 못하는 경우에도 계속적인 검사를 수행하기 때문에 연산 비용이 증가되는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 EPC 센서 네트워크의 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 미들웨어에서 복합 이벤트의 최소 조건을 정의하고 조건을 만족하는 경우에만 복합 이벤트를 검출하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 복합 이벤트의 최소 조건을 검사하기 위하여 인덱스 기반의 질의 색인을 사용하여 복합 이벤트를 추출한다. 제안하는 인덱스 기반의 복합 이벤트 검출 알고리즘은 기존의 검출 알고리즘과 NS2 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 성능 평가를 수행하여 복합 이벤트를 검출하는 시간에서는 기존 알고리즘과 비교하여 평균 6.8msec 적게 나타났으며, 검출에 필요한 연산수는 기존 알고리즘과 비교하여 평균 226개로 적은 연산 수를 나타내었다. 결과적으로 기존 알고리즘에 비해 복합 이벤트 검출을 위해 제안하는 알고리즘이 우수한 성능을 나타내었다.
