Rolling stock is the method of railway transportation. Especially, in the subway system which has short headways particularly during the rush hours, even one train's trouble on the main line might influence the whole line. Accordingly, to prevent a train trouble on the main line, high expense is used for the maintenance parts, workforce and facilities, etc. according to the preventive maintenance program. Therefore, in designing a EMU, emphasis should be put on the minimization of trouble and its extending influence on the mainline with the priority of safety and reliability. Seoul subway line 5 is the line that complements the first stage Seoul subway(lines 1,2,3 and 4) and is built deeply with many curved sections causing lots of dust. Studies were made to find out the importance of car design, selection of specifications and continuous maintenance on the basis of the analysis and countermeasure of the line 5 EMU inverter trouble case.
The recent decades have seen a growing rate of international cooperation in science, technology, and innovation (STI) including in the field of green technologies. However, current approaches to national systems of innovation (NSI) have not kept up with this development. International aspects are rather treated as external conditions within which policymakers operate and respond but not influence. This paper tackles this problem by applying a refined NSI concept that includes an international dimension and complements past frameworks by focusing on those Korean government policies, actors, and activities relevant for the internationalization of STI. Austria and Korea have both formulated differing strategies to acquire international leading positions in the field of innovation and the development of green technologies. In the first step, the paper assesses Korea's international activities within the field of green technologies that transcend national boundaries and establish international connections. The government has still a strong influence on selecting technology areas for strategic funding but our findings show that international STI actors have difficulties in identifying the appropriate point of contact to initiate cooperation or apply for related funding. Second, an external perspective on Korea's international collaborations in the field of green technologies is offered. Austria has tentatively identified the East Asian country as a second-priority cooperation partner for its future STI internationalization activities. Interviews with Austrian stakeholders in the field of green technologies indicate a high interest in cooperation with Korea that is facilitated by a similar business culture based on personal networks. Moreover, researchers and policymakers referred to a shared need of small countries for intelligent decision-making processes regarding potential cooperation partners abroad. However, in order to enhance awareness, visibility and demand for Korean STI cooperation in European countries, more long-term funding programs featuring a more permanent point of contact should be introduced.
Competing theories predict that others' contributions might be either substitutes or complements to one's own. Based on such competing theoretical discussions, this study attempted to examine the relationship between information about other citizens' giving behavior and citizens' giving. To achieve study objective, this study utilized a natural field experiment that investigates citizens' voluntary contributions to three types of kettle (transparent kettle with no money, transparent kettle with a large amount of bills and coinage, and red invisible kettle) during Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign in 2011 and 2012. The experiment took place at subway stations which does not differences in the amount donated in previous years. In this field experiment, this study manipulated information about other citizens' giving behavior available to citizens by altering the different red kettle donation boxes. This study found that there are no positive or negative information effect on individual citizens' contributions. The results did not show either crowding-out effect or crowing-in effect. Thus, this study showed that social information has statistically non-significant impact on the propensity to donate and the amount donated.
As the smartphone and mobile environment develop, the time and space constraints for individual work performance are disappearing. Companies can reduce costs and expand their business quickly through cloud computing. As the use of various cloud expands, the boundaries of users, data, and applications are disappearing. Traditional security approaches based on boundaries (Perimeter) are losing their utility in the cloud environment. This paper describes the limitations of existing network access control (NAC) in a cloud environment and suggests network security technology that complements it. The study explains the SDP and combines SDP(Software Defined Perimeter) to overcome the limitations of NAC, while at the same time explaining its role as a new framework for supporting the cloud environment. The new framework proposed in this paper suggests a software-based network security solution that supports physical and software parts, providing identity-based access control, encrypted segment management, and dynamic policy management, not IP-based.

This paper presents a method to perform a more efficient electromagnetic wave analysis inside a large building by external electromagnetic waves. Topological analysis and the PWB method are introduced for electromagnetic wave analysis. In addition, a Performance-Enhanced PWB method, which complements the performance of the PWB method is proposed. A large virtual structure was selected and an analysis environment was set up to perform the electromagnetic wave analysis inside a large building from external electromagnetic waves. A commercially available software, Wireless Insite, was used to verify the accuracy of the the Performance- Enhanced PWB method. As a result of comparing the two results in terms of accuracy, time, and memory, We conclude that the Performance-Enhanced PWB method proposed in this paper is a more efficient method in a large bulding.

Prior to the concrete and practical use of closed schools, this study was designed to identify trends in the use of closed schools, and the possibility and direction of the library's use of closed schools based on the status of closed schools and use cases. As a result of the case analysis, the building of libraries using closed schools can be reborn as libraries with different characteristics from general public libraries, such as providing complex cultural spaces, eco-friendly spaces, and local community places. In addition, based on the results of the study, future direction of library closure is suggested as follows: Provide local economic contribution and local revitalization opportunities, life-friendly and friendly space for local residents, recycling space linked with elderly welfare, care service, urban to rural Immigrants, creation of added value and creation of local business using closed schools, environment-friendly space, recycling as a complex community center, recycled into a space that meets and complements local needs.

To effectively cope with new and different types of disasters, it is very important to communicate and update disaster information to the public quickly and efficiently. SNS enables rapid spread of information and continuous exposure. SNS enables two-way communication by directly communicating with users. SNS complements the shortcomings of mass media, and increases the effectiveness of disaster management work. This study analyzed user awareness and requirements to derive effective methods of SNS operation of disaster management institutions. For this purpose, a user survey was conducted to identify the types of information that are highly user-interested and to select information items suitable for SNS services. Through this, we suggest ways to improve the SNS disaster record information service of the disaster management institution.

A civil-military facility sharing project is a part of mutual cooperative efforts, which enables the military to use any civilian (local government or company) or a civilian to use any military facility. Such facility sharing project may reduce or clear possible conflicts with the local residents in the surrounding area of a military facility while being available to save budgets for new construction or maintenance of a defense or military facility. Various measures have been proposed for institutional resolutions on conflicts with the local residents in the surrounding area of a military facility. This study collects and organizes previous cases of the civilian-military facility sharing projects, and analyzes the characteristics of such cases based on the project types. In addition, by organizing and proposing the project characteristics, plans (ideas) and determination criteria to expand and vitalize are presented regarding the project types having restrictions. AHP technique is employed to research on the matrix for the project feasibility determination. Also, the opinions organized through the cause analysis are categorized and presented as a project for the expansion and vitalization of future project. According to the rearch result, Type I, II and III are determined to be projects that can be implemented without difficulties. Type IV, on the other hands, is determined as not illegal, yet inadequate so that some legal and institutional complements are required to expand and vitaliza this facility sharing project.

Infobutton is an important concept from long time in use and much has been done with respect to its standardization and context supplementation. The concept is to create contextual links to information resources from within the information systems usually health information systems. The need which has been realized by the authors of this paper is the augmentation of Infobuttons from the level of only information links to the level of knowledge links. The authors proposed the concept of knowledge links named as "Knowledgebuttons" which complements the concept Infobuttons. It adds further capabilities of getting knowledge to the users instead of just connectivity to information resources. The better representation of the information retrieved with Infobuttons is the first and foundation step to achieve the goal of getting knowledge. This paper discusses about the concept and applicability of Knowledgebuttons in health information systems. It is envisioned that this concept will add to the overall quality of patient care. Both physicians and patients can benefit from this technique as per their needs. Physicians can help in patient diagnosis and treatment critical decisions while patients can educate them to know more about their health conditions by studying the right knowledge at right time. Knowledgebuttons are able to create a true learning environment for the users while using health information systems.
Recently, COVID-19 has spread and time to stay at home has been increasing in accordance with quarantine guidelines of the government such as recommendations to refrain from going out. As a result, the number of single-person households staying at home is also increasingsingle-person households are less likely to be notified to the outside world in times of emergency than multi-person households. This study collects various situations occurring in the home with lidar, image, and voice sensors and analyzes the data according to the sensors through their respective algorithms. Using this method, we analyzed abnormal patterns such as emergency situations and conducted research to detect abnormal signs in humans. Artificial intelligence algorithms that detect abnormalities in people by each sensor were studied and the accuracy of anomaly detection was measured according to the sensor. Furthermore, this work proposes a fusion method that complements the pros and cons between sensors by experimenting with the detectability of sensors for various situations.
