소비자의 인터넷 상점과 일반 상점간의 크로스 채널 쇼핑행동 분석 - 패션상품 및 소재정보를 중심으로 - (Cross-Channel Shopping Behavior between the Internet Retail Type and Store-Based Retail Types - Focus on Information of Fashion Product and Fabrics -)

  • Consumers currently show cross-channel shopping behavior between the Internet and store-based retail types when searching information and purchasing sensory products such as fashion items to reduce risks. As consumers compare both types of stores before making a purchase decision, the Internet retail type and store-based retail type started conflicting/competing each other as the combined retail evolution theory proposed(Kim & Kincade, 2006). The purpose of this study is to examine consumers' cross-channel shopping behavior between the Internet and store-based retail types and their importance and satisfaction with information provided by the Internet retail stores. This study employs a quantitative research method using a survey. Demographics, types of stores used for purchase, satisfaction with the type of stores, Internet shopping behavior, importance and satisfaction with product information in the Internet retail stores were asked. MANOVA and descriptive statistics were used to test hypotheses. The result shows that a majority of participants(36.2%) shows cross-channel shopping behavior between the two retail types. Also, most participants(72.4%) decide on their purchase and are satisfied only after cross-channel shopping between the two retail types. Participants were grouped based on their information search and purchase behavior. Significant differences among the groups were found in importance and satisfaction with product information provided by the Internet stores. In measuring participants' satisfaction, a majority of participants(42.1%) showed satisfaction with their purchase at store-based retail stores after information search via the internet, followed by the satisfaction with the purchase at the internet retail stores after information search at store-based retail stores(30.3%). Fifty one point nine percent of participants search information via the internet(vs.48% at store-based retail stores), and they especially look for fiber contents and design details with pictures(37.4%). The satisfaction with price information provided by the Internet retail stores is the highest (m=3.70 out of 5.0) among fashion product information followed by design information(m=3.48). On the other hand, size information, refund/exchange and fiber content information received low satisfaction scores(m=2.81, 2.71, 2.57 in turn). This research suggests the Internet retail stores should provide more variety of information in detail using technology and improving customer services. This study could provide the Internet retail stores a guideline to establish a satisfactory information delivery system.

Prognostic Impact of Histology in Patients with Cervical Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Adenocarcinoma and Small Cell Neuroendocrine Carcinoma

  • Background: Clarifying the prognostic impact of histological type is an essential issue that may influence the treatment and follow-up planning of newly diagnosed cervical cancer cases. This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic impact of histological type on survival and mortality in patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), adenocarcinoma (ADC) and small cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (SNEC). Materials and Methods: All patients with cervical cancer diagnosed and treated at Chiang Mai University Hospital between January 1995 and October 2011 were eligible. We included all patients with SNEC and a random weighted sample of patients with SCC and ADC. We used competing-risks regression analysis to evaluate the association between histological type and cancer-specific survival and mortality. Results: Of all 2,108 patients, 1,632 (77.4%) had SCC, 346 (16.4%) had ADC and 130 (6.2%) had SNEC. Overall, five-year cancer-specific survival was 60.0%, 54.7%, and 48.4% in patients with SCC, ADC and SNEC, respectively. After adjusting for other clinical and pathological factors, patients with SNEC and ADC had higher risk of cancer-related death compared with SCC patients (hazard ratio [HR] 2.6; 95% CI, 1.9-3.5 and HR 1.3; 95% CI, 1.1-1.5, respectively). Patients with SNEC were younger and had higher risk of cancer-related death in both early and advanced stages compared with SCC patients (HR 4.9; 95% CI, 2.7-9.1 and HR 2.5; 95% CI, 1.7-3.5, respectively). Those with advanced-stage ADC had a greater risk of cancer-related death (HR 1.4; 95% CI, 1.2-1.7) compared with those with advanced-stage SCC, while no significant difference was observed in patients with early stage lesions. Conclusion: Histological type is an important prognostic factor among patients with cervical cancer in Thailand. Though patients with SNEC were younger and more often had a diagnosis of early stage compared with ADC and SCC, SNEC was associated with poorest survival. ADC was associated with poorer survival compared with SCC in advanced stages, while no difference was observed at early stages. Further tailored treatment-strategies and follow-up planning among patients with different histological types should be considered.

취업형태의 지속성에 관한 연구 (Persistence of Employment Types)

  • 본 논문에서는 취업형태를 정규직 임금근로, 비정규직 임금근로 및 자영업의 세 유형으로 구분하여 한국노동패널 자료에 포함된 남자근로자들의 전직에 따른 취업형태의 변화를 살펴보았으며, 또한 경쟁적 위험도 모형을 추정함으로써 이들의 재취업시의 취업형태의 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 분석을 행하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면 퇴직한 일자리애서의 취업형태가 새 일자리에서의 취업형태를 결정하는 데에 중요한 영향을 미치며, 또한 직장이동이 반복되는 경우 그 영향력이 점차로 약화되기는 하나 직전 직장 이전에 취업했던 일자리에서의 취업형태도 새 직장에서의 취업형태의 결정에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 직전 직장에서 비정규직으로 근무하다 실직한 근로자는 전직 이전의 직장에서 정규직으로 취업했던 근로자에 비해 정규직에 재취업할 가능성은 크게 낮은 반면 또다시 비정규직에 재취업할 가능성온 크게 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 마찬가지로 퇴직한 직장에서의 취업 형태가 자영직이었던 근로자는 전직 이전의 직장에서 정규직으로 취업했던 근로자에 비해 정규직에 재취업할 가농성은 크게 낮은 반면, 또다시 자영직에 재취업할 가능성은 크게 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 분석결과는 우리나라 남자근로자의 경우 비정규직 또는 자영직 일자리가 막다른 일자리로서의 성격을 가진다고 단정할 수는 없다고 하더라도 일단 비정규직 또는 자영직에 취업한 근로자가 전직을 통해 정규직 일자리로 옮겨가기가 쉽지 않음을 보여주는 것이라 생각된다. 이와 함께 실업률이 높아질수록 정규직과 자영직에의 취업 가능성은 낮아지나 비정규직에의 취업 가능성은 오히려 높아지는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 노동시장에서의 수급조건이 근로자에게 불리할수록 노동시장의 비정규화가 빠른 속도로 진행될 수 있음을 의미하는 것으로 해석된다.

Liver-to-Spleen Volume Ratio Automatically Measured on CT Predicts Decompensation in Patients with B Viral Compensated Cirrhosis

  • Objective: Although the liver-to-spleen volume ratio (LSVR) based on CT reflects portal hypertension, its prognostic role in cirrhotic patients has not been proven. We evaluated the utility of LSVR, automatically measured from CT images using a deep learning algorithm, as a predictor of hepatic decompensation and transplantation-free survival in patients with hepatitis B viral (HBV)-compensated cirrhosis. Materials and Methods: A deep learning algorithm was used to measure the LSVR in a cohort of 1027 consecutive patients (mean age, 50.5 years; 675 male and 352 female) with HBV-compensated cirrhosis who underwent liver CT (2007-2010). Associations of LSVR with hepatic decompensation and transplantation-free survival were evaluated using multivariable Cox proportional hazards and competing risk analyses, accounting for either the Child-Pugh score (CPS) or Model for End Stage Liver Disease (MELD) score and other variables. The risk of the liver-related events was estimated using Kaplan-Meier analysis and the Aalen-Johansen estimator. Results: After adjustment for either CPS or MELD and other variables, LSVR was identified as a significant independent predictor of hepatic decompensation (hazard ratio for LSVR increase by 1, 0.71 and 0.68 for CPS and MELD models, respectively; p < 0.001) and transplantation-free survival (hazard ratio for LSVR increase by 1, 0.8 and 0.77, respectively; p < 0.001). Patients with an LSVR of < 2.9 (n = 381) had significantly higher 3-year risks of hepatic decompensation (16.7% vs. 2.5%, p < 0.001) and liver-related death or transplantation (10.0% vs. 1.1%, p < 0.001) than those with an LSVR ≥ 2.9 (n = 646). When patients were stratified according to CPS (Child-Pugh A vs. B-C) and MELD (< 10 vs. ≥ 10), an LSVR of < 2.9 was still associated with a higher risk of liver-related events than an LSVR of ≥ 2.9 for all Child-Pugh (p ≤ 0.045) and MELD (p ≤ 0.009) stratifications. Conclusion: The LSVR measured on CT can predict hepatic decompensation and transplantation-free survival in patients with HBV-compensated cirrhosis.

  • 现有的文献广泛的关注财阀以及他们的所有权和支配权的优点和弱点, 但是几乎没有关于韩国非财阀公司的研究. 然而, Lee, Lee and Pennings (2001)并没有特别的探讨在韩国国内市场非财阀公司为求生存而对抗财阀公司的具有竞争力的战略. 本文的研究动机是通过四个探索性案例的研究, 韩国非财阀公司对抗财阀公司的成功的竞争战略和提出的建议可能会对其他的企业以及公共政策制定者有所帮助. 从产品相似性和公司内的合作关系分别定义竞争和合作的概念. 从这两个方面, 我们开发了以下$2{\times}2$ 矩阵, 为非财阀公司对抗财阀公司提供四种竞争战略. 在小组1的非财阀公司在高端市场对财阀公司让步, 但在低端市场有 "我也是在低端市场" 的产品, 同时承认在高端市场的财阀. 在小组2, 非财阀公司以供应商或互补企业的身份成为财阀公司的合伙人. 在小组3, 非财阀企业从事与财阀直接竞争. 在小组4, 非财阀企业的目标, 以产品创新或服务填补目标市场空白点. 我们选择的4个公司分别是E‐Rae电子企业公司(共存方), Intops(供应商), Pantech(竞争对手)和Humax(小众市场成员). 通过分析这4个案例, 相互提供更丰富的洞察力战略. 基于我们的概念框架, 提出下列假设 : 假设1 : 与财阀公司有合作关系的非财阀公司比没有合作关系的公司表现得更好. 假设1a: 共存方会比竞争方表现得更好. 假设1b: 合伙方会比小众市场成员表现得更好. 假设2: 与财阀公司的产品没有相似性的公司比有相似性的公司表现得要更好. 假设2a: 合伙方比共存放表现得更好 假设2b: 小众市场成员会比竞争方表现得更好. 假设3: 小众市场成员应比共存方表现得更好. 假设4: 按绩效的降序排列依次是合作者, 小众市场成员, 共存方, 竞争方. 一组专家按照我们4组的分类把216家非财阀公司分类. 用SPSS统计软件中的简单方差分析来检验假设. 结果发现. 与财阀公司有合作关系的以及提供与财阀公司不同的产品或服务比较好. 很明确的一点是, 平均来说, 若要对抗财阀公司中获利, 其战略是成为合伙人(供应商或组成部分). 直接与财阀公司硬碰硬的竞争是要付出极高代价的战略, 而这种代价不是非财阀公司能负担得起的. 避免与财阀公司迎面竞争的战略是用不同的产品服务于利己市场, 或是服务于被财阀公司忽视掉的低端市场. 些战略是比较好的生存战略. 本文说明在财阀环境中, 韩国的中小型非财阀公司有一些方法可以生存, 尽管不是没有风险. 根据不同的竞争组合, 合作的公司可以根据产品相似性以及合作关系的维度来选择定位从而制定自己的竞争战略. 例如共存方, 竞争对手, 合伙人, 小众市场成员. 根据我们的探索性案例分析, 合伙人对非财阀公司来说可能是最好的战略, 而竞争者则是有很大风险的. 小众市场成员和共存方处于中间, 但前者比后者要好. 很多中小型企业的管理者只是用简单的, 不是合作就是竞争的观点来审视市场的领导者‐典型的就是财阀. 结果. 很多非财阀公司变成被动的合作者或被自己的竞争对手财阀所击败. 事实上, 合作和竞争并不是互相排斥的, 是可以同时被追求的. 正如本文所建议的, 非财阀公司可以根据他们的环境, 内部资源和能力灵活的选择合作和竞争.

비살균 원유로 만든 다양한 치즈의 안전성에 관한 연구: 총설 (Safety of Various Types of Cheese manufactured from Unpasteurized Raw Milk: A Review)

  • 2014년 4월 미국낙농수출협회의 자료에 의하면 미국 치즈 가격이 사상 최고로 올랐다(Fig. 1). 이는 부분적으로 한국 등 신흥시장에서 피자와 정크푸드 소비가 늘어난 덕분으로 사료된다. 한국에서 치즈, 특히 피자에 쓰이는 치즈의 인기가 늘면서 한국이 멕시코 다음으로 미국에서 가장 많은 치즈를 수입하는 국가가 되었다. 미국낙농수출협회에 따르면 한국의 2013년 치즈 수입량은 전년보다 25% 이상 증가한 49,000 M톤을 기록하였고, 미화 달러로 환산하면 한국으로 수출되는 미국 치즈는 지난해 3억 4,800만 달러로 2012년 수치인 2억 7,600만 달러를 휠씬 뛰어넘는 수준이었다. EU Monitor의 자료에 의하면 한국의 피자 배달 시장은 2013년 약 15억 달러를 기록하였는데, 이는 일본의 16억 달러 규모 시장에는 약간 못 미치지만, 일본의 인구는 한국의 2배 정도 된다(US Dairy Export Council, 2014). 또한 중국의 피자 시장은 약 24억 달러로 아직 빠르게 성장할 여지가 있다. 미국이 전 세계로 수출하는 치즈의 양은 지난해 하반기에 전년 동기 대비 41% 증가하였다. 하지만 아직까지 유럽연합(EU)이 세계 최대 치즈 수출국의 자리를 차지하고 있다. 한편, 한미 자유무역협정(FTA)으로 인해 관세가 철폐돼, 한국의 미국 치즈 수입이 더 수월해졌다. 물론 현재 한국에서는 살균 또는 이와 동등한 처리가 된 치즈가 수입되고 있는 상황이지만, 자유무역협정(FTA)에 의해서 앞으로 더 품질이 좋은 많은 외국산 치즈가 수입되고, 또한 다양한 비살균 치즈도 다양한 방법으로 수입이 될 것으로 예상되고 있다. 따라서 비살균 치즈의 안전성 확보를 담보할 수 있는 다양한 관련 법령 개정뿐만 아니라, 과학적인 방법에 근거한 기술 개발과 관련된 다양한 연구 등의 추가적인 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.
