The purpose of this study was attempted to investigate the professional perception of the public library directors in Korea, and to measure and to compare the perceptional difference between Directors that have or have not of Librarian's license. The authors obtained data through questionaires by mail to 188 directors of public Libraries. The number of respondents which become available for analysis was 188 and the response rate was 58.8%. The Major findings of this study are summarized as follows: 1. The professional perception of public Library Directors differs from the qualification for a librarian. 2. The Librarian's license made difference with regards to perceptional attitudes, consciousness of services, satisfying on job situation of Directors. 3. The professional perception of public Library Directors may have influence on each others of a school career, task work, colleague understandings on the gob situations. 4. but the difference have no significance statiscally. 5. Thus we need to study other types of organization and influencial variables for generalization of this study.

The Department of Neurosurgery (DNS) of the Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH), belongs to the largest and oldest such institutions in Korea. Because of its growing reputation it is hardly surprising that the DNS draws visitor and scholars for clinical education and academic exchange from far beyond Korea. I myself visited the SNUH in February and March 2013. During this time I composed this evaluation in which I compare the DNS to my home Department at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz/Germany, as well as the situation of Neurosurgery in Korea and Germany in general. In the first part this evaluation summarizes data concerning equipment, staff and organizational structure, as well as educational and scientific issues of the DNS. In the second part some issues of interest are discussed in special regard to the corresponding practices in Germany.

Many foreign enterprises have begun to pay attention to China market recently, and enter this big market successively. Thus, it is very essential and valuable to understand China internet market well, especially the internet shopping mall market, and to find out the best strategy to build the internet shopping mall in China. The purpose of this comparative study is; (a) to compare with college students consumer's attitude and intention to use internet shopping, (b) to understand the use status of China internet shopping and the purchase situation of Chinese consumer, (c) basing on existing research, to master consumers' consideration items while making the purchase decision, and also master the advantages and disadvantages of internet shopping which consumers realized.

In 1970s, Computer Graphics of still and geometry changed computer Animation of image, and Computer Animation has diversely been used in movie, TV, fashion, sports, education, basic science, medical science, etc. by the development of LSI technology and the large size of computer in 1980s. Since Computer Animation was first used by movie of Futureworld in 1973, we easily experienced the essence of Computer Animation made of the Little Mermaid. Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King, Aladdin, etc. in Disney Animation and Terminator. Jurassic Park, the Mask, etc. in movie. And in other countries that have got the diversely special effect and knowhow in technology are effectively using the Computer Animation now. What situation we Korea are in now, if we compare the Computer Animation with that of other country using the progressive movie\ulcorner Although we first producted the movie title of Ticket, 10years ago, we have rarely been used it in movie, yet. Therefore, we know that it is very important for us to examine the historical and technical side for the purpose of overcoming the technological gap.

Typically, it should be use auxiliary variable for calibrating the survey nonreponse in census or sampling survey. Where, if the dimension of auxiliary information is large, then it nay be spend a lot of computing time, and difficult to handle data set. Also because the variance estimator depends on the dimension of auxiliary variables, the variance estimator becomes underestimator. To deal with this problem, we propose the variable selection methods for calibration estimation procedure in unit nonreponse situation and we compare the efficiency by simulation study.

Entering the 1990s, Korean economies experienced the high-cost and low-efficiency situation which evetually caused many Korean firms led to relocate their production facilities to lower labor cost countries. This paper aims to draw out the characteristics of FDI and to evaluate the impacts of FDI in manufacturing sectors. Firstly, we try to categorize the indutries into three groups, labor intensive, capital intensive, and the technology intensive industries figuring out the characteristics of FDI of Korean firms. Secondly, we compare the three categories by grouping high and low foreign investment areas using value added data. Thirdly, we analyse the impacts of foreign production relocation the number of firms, production volume and jobs creation in Korea during the period 1991-1996. This paper concludes that the FDI of Korean firms concentrates to labor intensive industry and the hollowing effect caused by FDI was observed partially in the labor intensive industry.

This study suggests a fundamental contents role model for multimedia school library. In this paper, we compare the performance of channel estimators with the L$_{1}$-norm and L$_{2}$-norm criteria in impulaive noise environment, and show than the L$_{1}$-norm criterion is appropriate for that situation. Also, it is shown that the performance of the conventional maximum likelihood sequence detector(MLSD) can be improved by applying the same principle to mobile channels. That is, the performance of the conventional MLSD, which is known to be optimal under the Gaussian noise assumption, degrades in the impulsive noise of radio mobile communication channels. So, we proposed the MLSD which can reduce the effect of impulsive noise effectively by applying the results of channel estimators. Finally, it is confirmed by computer simulation that the performance of MLSD is significantly affected depending on the types of branch metrics, and that, in the impulsive noise environments, the proposed one with new branch metrics performs better thatn the conventional branch metric, l y(k)-s(k) l$^{[-992]}$ .

Cutting movements frequently occur in sports and influence much Lower Extremity injuries. The purpose of this study was to compare joint motion of lower extremities to cutting angles and running velocities. Seven male subjects performed cutting movements to three angles($0^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$). Subjects were instructed to run five meters at a speed of 2.5m/s and 4.5m/s before contacting their right foot on the force plate and then change direction to the left. The Peak hip, knee and ankle joint kinematics were influenced according to the running velocities and cutting angles. In conclusion, Fast running velocity and cutting angle will may influence on the lower extremity joint instability on real game situation.

In this paper, we propose personalized recommendation techniques based on multidimensional scaling (MDS) method for Business to Consumer Electronic Commerce. The multidimensional scaling method is traditionally used in marketing domain for analyzing customers' perceptional differences about brands and products. In this study, using purchase history data, customers in learning dataset are assigned to specific product categories, and after then using MDS a positioning map is generated to map product categories and alternative advertisements. The positioning map will be used to select personalized advertisement in real time situation. In this paper, we suggest the detail design of personalized recommendation method using MDS and compare with other approaches (random approach, collaborative filtering, and TOP3 approach)
