The purpose of this paper is to compare the manufacturing process with random covariate using multiple comparison procedure. The methodology that compares each manufacturing process by inspecting the number of nonconforming items out of k-treatment, has serveral limitations and problems according to the method and contect of the analysis. The proper way of analysis, therefore, could be obtained by the multiple comparison procedure of simultaneous confidence region of variance components. Effections that affect a manufactuing process may be predictive of responce to treatments are called covariates. In the study of comparing several treatments, prsense of covariate may bias the estimates of treatment effects.

Pipe network analysis is analyze all of it about pressure and volume flow rate through that are pipeline, junction, regulator and valve etc. In this study is compare TVD with MOC method for analysis of unsteady compressible flow in pipelines. Then, we calculated unsteady compressible flow for pipe network that periodic volume flow rate conditions.

The objective of this study is structural analysis and modal analysis of treadmill roller. A 3D finite element model is implemented to calculate the stress, strain and natural frequency for treadmill roller In order to analyses treadmill roller, many variables such as load condition, boundary condition, weight condition and resonance are considered. Natural frequency of treadmill is compare to motor revolution.

In this paper, details of the design and implementation of a voice source simulator using Simulink and Matlab are discussed. This simulator is an implementation by model-based design concept. Voice sources can be analyzed and manipulated through various factors by choosing options from GUI input and selecting pre-defined blocks or user created ones. This kind of simulation tool can simplify the procedure of analyzing speech signals for various purposes such as voice quality analysis, pathological voice analysis, and speech coding. Also, basic analysis functions are supported to compare the original signal and the manipulated ones.

Since 1987, when statistical analyzing guide for thermal life test of Accelerated Life Test(ALT) was proposed as ANSI/IEEE Std 101, this guide has been used widely for many experiment data. Shim(2004) had done Monte Carlo simulation to compare life of two different systems or materials, based on statistic values obtained from ANSI/IEEE Std 101 data. In this study, a profile analysis is proposed for comparing life of two different systems or materials, and some examples using pre-existing data are given.

little attention has been given to the analysis of electronic democracy media, although electronic democracy, if adopted in Korea, is expected to enhance the quality of the political culture to a large extent. This research is to compare electronic democracy media, such as Internet, cable TV, teleconferencing, fax, and ARS and suggest recommendations on the successful Introduction strategy of electronic democracy in Korea. The analysis of collected data yields research findings, such as the fact that internet will be the most effective medium and a strategy for popularizing internet needes to be developed in advance.

Harmonic analysis, based on finite element method, is popularly used to predict a response of shadow mask to the external excitation from speakers. Since vibration wave travels from speakers to the shadow mask, a finite element model must include all mechanical parts between the speakers and the shadow mask, which increases total time needed in finite element modeling and computation. In this paper, we perform the harmonic analysis on a MF assembly to obtain frequency response function of a shadow mask, and compare the solutions with experimental results.

This paper presents the design and analysis of the electromagnetic system such as jumping ring system. Also, we study the characteristics of dynamics for system with initial parameter. For the propose of system control,, first, we simulate the MATLAB tool solving coupled differential equations with electric parameter, inductance and mutual inductances. Therefore, we design a jumping ring system using design results, implement, and analyze the jumping ring system real situation. For the near time, we present a control process, and compare of real system and software technique.

The vibration of a rolling piston type rotary compressor for air-conditioning use is analyzed numerically and experimentally. Multibody dynamic analysis methods to predict the vibration are given. The compressor is modeled as a multibody system composed of bodies, joints, and force elements. Experimental results are shown to compare with simulation results. A sensitivity study using different variables that affect the compressor vibration is also carried out. It is found that the mass of the weight balancer plays an important role in acceleration.

Robust parameter design is to identify appropriate settings of control factors that make the system's performance robust to changes in the noise factors that represent the source of variation. In this paper, we introduce a factor analysis approach to simultaneously optimize multiple quality characteristics in the robust parameter design. An example is illustrated to compare it with already proposed method.
