The paper addresses the importance of redesigning strategies for resilient and sustainable regional economic development - by applying strategic approaches to free economic zones for the digital economy. The purpose of the paper is to provide a broad comparative perspective on developed versus developing country efforts to use free economic zone programs to enhance various economic and social objectives. First, the paper introduces the chronicle experiences of free economic zone programs in South Korea and mainland China - developed versus developing economies. The main results of the analysis indicate that (1) achieving the goals and objectives of free economic zones is challenging over time; (2) trying to upgrade the technical component, develop knowledge-based and eco-friendly new industries, or value-added to the economy through free economic zone policies is even challenging; and (3) incentives and other program-specific variables are highly context-specific and not structurally correlated with free economic zone performance. In addition, the paper shows that the initial conception of the role of free economic zones has undergone significant change as individual countries have tried to enhance the contributions and avoid damages from incorporating free economic zones into their development strategy respectively, over time.

User enjoyment is a key factor to understand online and mobile game users' behaviors. This study aims to understand the differences between mobile and online games, and the differences between Korean and Chinese game users in terms of the perceived importance of user enjoyment elements. To use AHP (Analytic Hierarchical Process), we decompose user enjoyment into sub-elements; sensory enjoyment, content enjoyment, enjoyment of the achievement, and enjoyment of interaction. Though the empirical study and independent t-test, we can find that there are the differences in the perceived importance of user enjoyment elements between Korean and Chinese game players, and between mobile and online games. Chinese users more stress on enjoyment of interaction and Korean users more emphasize on enjoyment of the achievement.

Recently, building remodeling has been of more importance than ever, and it has become necessary to consider the economic efficiency in building remodeling. This study is intended to investigate the various aspects of remodeling and their comparative importance, based on the responses by building owners and remodeling constructors, and eventually the development of evaluation method of economic efficiency in building remodeling. The survey of office building constructors and building owners shows that. the need of remodeling is commonly stressed but their concerns differ. The proposed evaluation method may be useful to resolve the difference of economic concerns between demand and supply parts of remodeling, and give practical and reasonable guidelines to them.

The wholesomeness studies on irradiated foods and the evaluation of the data obtained have been conducted at both national and international levels. The conclusion of the FAO/IAEA/WHO Expert Committee on Wholesomeness of Irradiated Food in 1980 that irradiated foods treated with doses up to 10 kGy are safe for human consumption are being significantly influencing on the regulatory circumstances, in individual countries as well as a regional economic community. Principles of the wholesomeness evaluation, importance of radiation chemical considerations, methodology of toxicological testing and the interpretation of in vitro and in vivo toxicity studies are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the progress of methods for wholesomeness studies and data evaluations and also on the importance e of comparative assessments together with safety problems concerning other food treatments and environmental factors.

The purpose of this research is to propose a set of basic guidelines for the construction of English test suites, a set of basic guidelines for the construction of Korean test suites to objectively evaluate the performance of machine translation systems. For this end, we constructed 650 English test sentences, 650 Korean test sentences, and developed the statistical methods and tools for the comparative evaluation of the English-Korean machine translation systems. It also evaluates the existing commercial English-Korean machine translation systems. The importance of this research lies in that it will promote an awareness of the importance and need of testing machine translation systems within the Natural Language Community. This research will also make a big contribution to the development of evaluation methods and techniques for appropriate test suites for Korean information processing systems. The results of this research can be used by the natural language community to test the performance and development of their information processing systems or machine translation systems.

The strategic importance of innovation ecosystems has received increased attention from both the academic and policy perspectives. However, there is only limited empirical evidence on the importance of these ecosystems from the perspective of younger firms. This study focuses on the role of ecosystems for young innovative companies (YICs) and is based on a unique set of phone survey data from Finland and South Korea. The results are threefold: (1) Finnish YICs participate more actively in ecosystems than Korean YICs; (2) on average, Korean YICs report to have experienced lower ecosystem impact compared to Finnish YICs; (3) in both countries, key organizations of the ecosystems are represented on the board of directors in about one-third of the sample firms.

Last week, after our receiving online journal regarding Journal of the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, we found a recently published original article by Alawode et al., entitled "A comparative study of immediate wound healing complications following cleft lip repair using either absorbable or non-absorbable skin sutures". Although this clinical article was well written and provided a great deal of information regarding the suture materials in the cleft lip repair, I would like to add a few additional comments based on the importance of skin suture during cheiloplasties in the primary cleft lip or secondary revision patients with representative figures.

This research determined priority of quality improvement of public institution's education service by using ASC for importance and applying Topsis, a multi-standard decision-making method simplifying various attributes and scales of evaluation items and deciding the comparative priority for satisfaction and discussed the differences so as to measure the quality of public institution's educational service and examine the priority of education service' quality improvement. This research classified the characteristics of quality improvement. As a result, it's significant to suggest positive direction and method to improve satisfaction and education service's quality from an angle of demander by analyzing educational satisfaction of education service quality of public education institution and effects on the following improvement.

The purpose of this study is to measure IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) of the hospital choice factors between internal and external customers at rural general hospital. This study was used 5 types of choice factor such as physical, human, accessibility, connection, and external image. Also, this study was used IPA which can be applied to identify the strengths and weaknesses quality attributes from customers' viewpoint by simultaneously evaluating importance and performance. IPA was assessed using a sample of 98 patients and 96 internal employees who work at C general hospital in Chunkcheongbuk-do. Data were collected with self-administered questionnaires from February 13 to March 30 in 2012 and analyzed SPSS 18 by using frequency, paired t-test and scatter plot graph. The results of IPA show that "Keep up the good work" quadrant was human factor and "Low Priority" quadrant was physical and connection factors between internal and external customers. The finding of this study will be applied to improve human service quality in administrative department of hospital. Also, this study presents primary data for correct decision making to authorities of local hospitals that have concern about hospital strategy. The implications of this study are discussed and areas for future research are presented.

Objectives: This study evaluated the perception on importance of interprofessional core competencies (PI-ICCP) scale. Methods: Data were collected from 353 college students of health. Content validity was tested using the content validity index for individual items(I-CVI) and for scale(S-CVI). Criterion validity was tested using the professional competencies scale developed by Choi. Reliability was evaluated using Cronbach's coefficient alpha. The goodness-of-fit of the construct validity was determined through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses. Results: The I-CVI of each item was .8 or higher for all items, and the S-CVI was .98. The reliability of the PI-IPCC was Cronbach's α=.98. The goodness-of-fit indices of the model were χ2=1811.54(p<.001), the comparative fit index (CFI)=.91, and root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA)=.08, which satisfied the criteria. Conclusions: The construct and criterion-related validity of the perception for PI-ICCP scale were a good fit, so the instrument is appropriate for measuring perception on importance of interprofessional core competencies. Further research will be required using this instrument to investigate perception of interprofessional core competencies of health professionals.
