  • We study the compact intertwining relations for composition operators, whose intertwining operators are Volterra type operators from the weighted Bergman spaces to the weighted Bloch spaces in the unit disk. As consequences, we find a new connection between the weighted Bergman spaces and little weighted Bloch spaces through this relations.

  • We investigate an extension of Schauder's theorem by studying the relationship between various s-numbers of an operator T and its adjoint T*. We have three main results. First, we present a new proof that the approximation number of T and T* are equal for compact operators. Second, for non-compact, bounded linear operators from X to Y, we obtain a relationship between certain s-numbers of T and T* under natural conditions on X and Y . Lastly, for non-compact operators that are compact with respect to certain approximation schemes, we prove results for comparing the degree of compactness of T with that of its adjoint T*.

  • Let V be an arbitrary system of weights on an open connected subset G of ${\mathbb{C}}^N(N{\geq}1)$ and let B (E) be the Banach algebra of all bounded linear operators on a Banach space E. Let $HV_b$ (G, E) and $HV_0$ (G, E) be the weighted locally convex spaces of vector-valued analytic functions. In this paper, we characterize self-analytic mappings ${\phi}:G{\rightarrow}G$ and operator-valued analytic mappings ${\Psi}:G{\rightarrow}B(E)$ which generate weighted composition operators and invertible weighted composition operators on the spaces $HV_b$ (G, E) and $HV_0$ (G, E) for different systems of weights V on G. Also, we obtained compact weighted composition operators on these spaces for some nice classes of weights.

  • We study some properties of Toeplitz operators on the Bergman spaces B\ulcorner(H\ulcorner), where H\ulcorner={x+iy : y>r}. We consider the pseudo-hyperbolic disk and the covering property. We also obtain some characterizations of compact Toeplitz operators.

  • In this paper, the authors investigate the structure of operators similar to normaloid and transloid operators. In particular, we characterize the interior of the set of operators similar to normaloid (transloid, respectively) operators. This gives a concise spectral condition to determine when an operator is similar to a normaloid or transloid operator. Also it is proved that any Hilbert space operator has a compact perturbation with transloid property. This is used to give a negative answer to a problem posed by W. Y. Lee, concerning Weyl's theorem.

  • We deal with the boundedness of the n-th derivatives of Bloch-type functions and Toeplitz operators and give a relationship between Bloch-type spaces and ranges of Toeplitz operators. Also we prove that the vanishing property of ${\parallel}uk^{\alpha}_z{\parallel}_{s,{\alpha}}$ on the boundary of $\mathbb{D}$ implies the compactness of Toeplitz operators and introduce a generalization of Bloch-type spaces.

  • On the setting of the half-plane H={x+iy$\mid$y>0} of the complex plane, we study some properties of weighted Bergman spaces and their duality. We also obtain some characterizations of compact Toeplitz operators.
