Recently, ransomware has earned itself an infamous reputation as a force to reckon with in the cybercrime landscape. However, cybercriminals are adopting other unconventional means to seamlessly attain proceeds of cybercrime with little effort. Cybercriminals are now acquiring cryptocurrencies directly from benign Internet users without the need to extort a ransom from them, as is the case with ransomware. This paper investigates advances in the cryptovirology landscape by examining the state-of-the-art cryptoviral attacks. In our approach, we perform digital autopsy on the malware's source code and execute the different malware variants in a contained sandbox to deduce static and dynamic properties respectively. We examine three cryptoviral attack structures: browser-based crypto mining, memory resident crypto mining and cryptoviral extortion. These attack structures leave a trail of digital forensics evidence when the malware interacts with the file system and generates noise in form of network traffic when communicating with the C2 servers and crypto mining pools. The digital forensics evidence, which essentially are IOCs include network artifacts such as C2 server domains, IPs and cryptographic hash values of the downloaded files apart from the malware hash values. Such evidence can be used as seed into intrusion detection systems for mitigation purposes.
The fashion industry has been placing great importance on establishing and communicating brand identity in response to the rapidly changing landscape of consumer preference and media development. This study aimed to explore effective communication methodologies for building a strong brand identity for domestic designer fashion brands. To achieve this, trends in the domestic fashion industry were categorized, and key words were derived to develop three new communication methodologies through an analysis of 10 domestic brand cases. This study confirmed that a strategy that focuses on forming emotional relationships with consumers is essential for establishing brand identity. To this end, the proposed communication methodologies include the following: First, delivering sustainable messages through emotional storytelling, which is a key approach for building emotional bonds with consumers. Second, expanding the brand experience to elicit positive responses from consumers by immersing them in special situations to experience brand identity. Third, brands can enhance consumer brand loyalty by fostering continuous relationships with consumers and cultivating brand culture through omnichannel strategies that encompass both offline and online channels. Consequently, this study presents practical strategies for various fashion brands along with theoretical contributions to domestic fashion brand startups and brand identity construction. With these strategies, it is anticipated that brands will establish clear and specific content and build a stronger brand identity by engaging in diverse communication methods that offer consumers sustainable values and brand experiences.

Social media is an essential part of everyday life in modern society and plays an important role in communicating the ideal body image. With the increased prevalence and high popularity of social media, the problems associated with the addictive use of social media have become a social issue. Utilizing social comparison theory, this study examined (1) the effect of appearance related photo activities on body satisfaction through appearance comparison and (2) the moderating effect of Instagram addiction in relationships among appearance related photo activity, appearance comparison, and body satisfaction. We tested the proposed relationships between research variables using multi-group structural equation modeling analysis on a sample of 346 young female Instagram users. The sample was divided into two groups of high and low addicted Instagram users. The results of this study showed that the appearance related photo activity positively influenced appearance comparison for both high and low addiction groups. For the high addiction group, the effect of appearance comparison on body satisfaction was not statistically significant; however, this relationship was significant and negative for the low addiction group. A significant moderating effect of Instagram addiction was found in the relationship between appearance related photo activity and appearance comparison.
Objective : Surgical clipping of the cerebral aenurysm is considered as a standard therapy with endovascular coil embolization. The surgical clipping is known to be superior to the endovascular coil embolization in terms of recurrent rate. However, a recurrent aneurysm which is initially treated by surgical clipping is difficult to handle. The purpose of this study was to research the management of the recurrent cerebral aneurysm after a surgical clipping and how to overcome them. Methods : From January 1996 to December 2015, medical records and radiologic findings of 14 patients with recurrent aneurysm after surgical clipping were reviewed retrospectively. Detailed case-by-case analysis was performed based on preoperative, postoperative and follow-up radiologic examinations and operative findings. All clinical variables including age, sex, aneurysm size and location, type and number of applied clips, prognosis, and time to recurrence are evaluated. All patients are classified by causes of the recurrence. Possible risk factors that could contribute to those causes and overcoming ways are comprehensively discussed. Results : All recurrent aneurysms after surgical clipping were 14 of 2364 (0.5%). Three cases were males and 11 cases were females. Mean age was 52.3. At first treatment, nine cases were ruptured aneurysms, four cases were unruptured aneurysms, and one case was unknown. Locations of recurrent aneurysm were determined; anterior communicating artery (A-com) (n=7), posterior communicating artery (P-com) (n=3), middle cerebral artery (n=2), anterior cerebral artery (n=1) and basilar artery (n=1). As treatment of the recurrence, 11 cases were treated by surgical clipping and three cases were treated by endovascular coil embolization. Three cases of all 14 cases occurred in a month after the initial treatment. Eleven cases occurred after a longer interval, and three of them occurred after 15 years. By analyzing radiographs and operative findings, several main causes of the recurrent cerebral aneurysm were found. One case was incomplete clipping, five cases were clip slippage, and eight cases were fragility of vessel wall near the clip edge. Conclusion : This study revealed main causes of the recurrent aneurysm and contributing risk factors to be controlled. To manage those risk factors and ultimately prevent the recurrent aneurysm, neurosurgeons have to be careful in the technical aspect during surgery for a complete clipping without a slippage. Even in a perfect surgery, an aneurysm may recur at the clip site due to a hemodynamic change over years. Therefore, all patients must be followed up by imaging for a long period of time.
This research studied 249 patients who has an aneurysm and went through computerized CT angiography at S University Hospital in Northern Kyung-sang area from October 1st 2008 to September 30th 2010, and the results are the following. Among total 249 of research objects, 159 women (63.9%) showed higher distribution than 90 men (36.1%) The order of the distribution of aneurysm classified by blood vessel is the following. Posterior communicating artery 34.9% as the highest, internal carotid artery 21.7%, middle cerebral artery of 15.7%, anterior communicating artery 14.5%, posterior cerebral artery and posterior cerebral artery channel 3.6% each, anterior cerebral artery and vertebral artery 2.4% each, and posterior inferior cerebellar artery 1.2%. As a result of analysis of distribution of aneurysm classified by gender, there was no case of posterior cerebral artery and posterior cerebral artery channel among men, and there was no case of posterior inferior cerebellar artery among women. Distribution of aneurysm classified by vessel according to gender showed no statistic significance. (p<0.05). And distribution of aneurysm classified by vessel according to the age, showed no statistic significance. (p>0.05), After applying post analysis to understand the group with age difference, the significance was the highest among the group of 61-70, (4.21), and the group of the age under 30 was the lowest. (2.0) There was statistic significance on the distribution of aneurysm classified by vessel according to the season. (p<0.05). After applying post-analysis in order to understand the groups with difference between seasons, it was found that fall was the highest (4.55) and spring was the lowest. (2.50)
Purpose. This study aimed to explore family caregivers' experiences with ventilator-dependent patients at home. Methods. The number of patients using mechanical ventilators at home is expected to increase and family caregivers must be able to care for them. However, few studies focus on the experiences of family caregivers. We conducted in-depth interviews with 11 family caregivers who cared for a ventilator-dependent patient at home in South Korea. Data were analyzed using phenomenological method of enquiry. Results. Statements generated from the interviews on the meaning of the family caregiver's experiences were organized into 27 themes, 5 theme clusters, and 2 categories. The theme clusters included endurance under the burden situation, role strain as a caregiver, separation from others, trying to find coping methods, and oriental ethnical customs. Family caregivers of patients using domestic mechanical ventilators need systematic education and emotional support to cope with the challenges of managing ventilator equipment and learning new ways of communicating with patients on the ventilators. Conclusion. These findings may contribute to family caregivers' knowledge and competence, thereby allowing them to better support their ventilator-dependent family members.
Trust is formed from the day-to-day and persistent interaction relationship. The trust demands more and more at the age of uncertainty. Human beings are using media interaction. The area of communication with media is extended to virtual space. The purpose of this study is to qualitatively explain trust building process in virtual team by media using. In the pursuit of this purpose, we executed in-depth interview with the person who have experience communicating by media with a man of a complete stranger. They experienced the trust building process. Interview data were analyzed by a Structured Coding Techniques. The derived seven categories were reconstructed in consideration of the cause-and-effect relationship and the flow of events. We have discovered a new trust model that was the result from communication by a media using. The model presented is very useful to Individuals who need a new trust building relationship with stranger or virtual team member.
NoC is actively being studied recently in order to overcome the limitations of shared-bus architecture. We proposed an NoC architecture which employs a buffer that plays a similar role of a proxy server in a computer network to enhance the communication efficiency of NoC architecture. In the proposed NoC architecture, whenever the master has a difficulty in communicating with the slave directly, the master communicates with the proxy server which is able to communicate with the slave on behalf of the master. With the proposed scheme in NoC, we can increase the speed and the bandwidth of communication channel. The experimental results showed that overall communication efficiency was significantly improved by sending the packets to the proxy server rather than holding them in the switch buffer.
Objectives: The present study aimed to determine the barriers influencing the sexual conversation. Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, 200 midwives were selected through convenience sampling method from private and public clinics in Mashhad, North East of Iran. A self-structured questionnaire was used to collect the study data. Results: The mean age of subjects was $39.58{\pm}8.12years$ with $13.49{\pm}7.59years$ of work experience. A number of cultural conditions act as an inhibitory force for the midwives to address sexual issues with menopausal women. Menopausal women visit a doctor at the acute stage when emotional and physical problems make sexual discussion difficult for the midwives (86.5%). Other related causes for not having proper sexual conversation were insufficient knowledge (51.4%), inadequate education provided via public media through health providers (83.5%), midwives or their patient's shame (51.5%), and attempt to get help from traditional healers, friends, relatives and supplicants instead of midwifery staff (78.5%). Also, we found that sexual workshops, communication workshops, and work experiences had a significant influence in changing the views of midwives. Conclusions: Cultural barriers prevent the patients and providers from communicating effectively with each other, thus highlighting the need for sexual and communication workshops for the health care providers.
A telerobot offers a more engaging and enjoyable interaction with people at a distance by communicating via audio, video, expressive gestures, body pose and proxemics. To provide its potential benefits at a reasonable cost, this paper presents a telepresence robot system for video communication which can deliver speaker's head motion through its display stanchion. Head gestures such as nodding and head-shaking can give crucial information during conversation. We also can assume a speaker's eye-gaze, which is known as one of the key non-verbal signals for interaction, from his/her head pose. In order to develop an efficient head tracking method, a 3D cylinder-like head model is employed and the Harris corner detector is combined with the Lucas-Kanade optical flow that is known to be suitable for extracting 3D motion information of the model. Especially, a skin color-based face detection algorithm is proposed to achieve robust performance upon variant directions while maintaining reasonable computational cost. The performance of the proposed head tracking algorithm is verified through the experiments using BU's standard data sets. A design of robot platform is also described as well as the design of supporting systems such as video transmission and robot control interfaces.
