Prostate cancer is common all around the world. Hormonal therapy is the mainstay of therapy, however castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) becomes a serious problem and needs further clinical trials with novel agents. Novel agents like cabazitaxel, abireterone acetate or enzalutamide are encouraging but we do not know which one is the best in metastatic CRPC. In here, treatment modalities for metastatic CRPC are discussed witha mini-review of the literature.

Of critical importance to the success of any e-commerce site are the two factors: rapid application development and quick response time. A three-tier architecture composed of presentation layer, business layer, and data access layer emerges to allow rapid changes in user interface, business logic, and database structures. Too often, such a logical three-tier architecture is considered as requiring a three-tier physical architecture: Web server, application server, and database server running on separate computers. Contrary to the common belief, a Web stress test reveals that the three-tier logical architecture implemented on a two-tier physical platform guarantees a quicker response time due to the reduction in cross-machine communications. This would lead business firms to economize their spending on e-commerce: increasing the number of physical servers to expedite transaction is not necessarily the best solution. Before selecting a particular hardware configuration, a Web stress test needs to be conducted to compare the relative merits of alternative physical architectures. Together with capacity planning, Web stress test emerges as a powerful tool to build robust, yet economical e-commerce sites.

Allergic disorders such as atopic dermatitis and asthma are common hyper-immune disorders in industrialized countries. Along with genetic association, environmental factors and gut microbiota have been suggested as major triggering factors for the development of atopic dermatitis. Numerous studies support the association of hygiene hypothesis in allergic immune disorders that a lack of early childhood exposure to diverse microorganism increases susceptibility to allergic diseases. Among the symbiotic microorganisms (e.g. gut flora or probiotics), probiotics confer health benefits through multiple action mechanisms including modification of immune response in gut associated lymphoid tissue (GALT). Although many human clinical trials and mouse studies demonstrated the beneficial effects of probiotics in diverse immune disorders, this effect is strain specific and needs to apply specific probiotics for specific allergic diseases. Herein, we briefly review the diverse functions and regulation mechanisms of probiotics in diverse disorders.

This paper aims to develop international marketing strategies for Korean traditional food and gives some implications to firms that are ready to invest in developed countries with Korean traditional food and to the government that needs to make a policy to support the food industry in international marketing. For this, we researched data and studied domestic and international cases. Also, we extracted two common factors(namely product factor and image factor) through fourteen variables by factor analysis and tested whether both factors significantly influence on the success of international marketing(favorable impression). As a results, we found several key success factors(KSF), including both factors mentioned above and developed international marketing strategies for Korean traditional food reflecting these key success factors.

Voltage sags are one of the most frequently occurring power quality problems challenging power systems today. The Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) is one of the major custom power solutions that are capable of mitigating the effect of supply voltage sags at the load or Point of Common Coupling (PCC). A UPQC-Q employs a control method in which the series compensator injects a voltage that leads the supply current by $90^{\circ}C$ so that the series compensator at steady state consumes no active power. However, the UPQC-Q has the disadvantage that its series compensator needs to be overrated. Thus it cannot offer effective compensation. This paper proposes a new control scheme for the UPQC-Q that offers minimum power injection. The proposed minimum power injection method takes into consideration the limits on the rated voltage capacity of the series compensator and its control scheme. The validity of the proposed control scheme is investigated through simulation and experimental results.

Functional Equipment Group(FEG) of Nuclear Power Plant(NPP) is the bundling of multiple equipment subcomponents around a major equipment with a common system isolation characteristic or out-of-service consideration. The main purpose of FEG is to reduce out-of-service time to enhance maintenance effectiveness. KHNP(Korea hydro & Nuclear Power Co.) needs to develop these FEGs to successfully perform On-line Maintenance(OLM) which will be expected to institute in the future. Recently, there has been growing interest in OLM in KHNP. The aim of this paper is to suggest the way of FEG development and to build the FEG of MCR(Main Control Room) HVAC(Heat, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system. The results of this study might be make good use of OLM and be helpful for equipment maintenance for MCR HVAC system.

By the newly emerging network access technology, we face the new heterogeneous network environment. Focusing on the co-existence of multiple access network technology and the complex service needs of users, the wireless service operators should present the stable service quality for every user. For this, the service operators should build the new operation framework which combine the pre-established network and newly adopted one. Our problem is finding the optimal heterogeneous network operation framework. We suggest market-based marginal cost function for evaluating the relative value of resource of each network and develop the whole new heterogeneous network operation framework. To test the applicability of developed operation framework, we build large-scale JAVA simulator. By this development, we can easily test the new network environment in practical engineering field.

Tetralogy of Fallot is the most common cyanotic congenital anomaly, which needs some operation for the survival. Perioperative mortality of the Tetralogy of Fallot was lowered remarkably in recent years, but some discussions were presented for the criteria of the corrective surgery and the corrective method of the pulmonary stenosis. In the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery of the Chunbug National University Hospital, 17 cases of tetralogy of Fallot were corrected totally from July in 1983 to August in 1984. In correction of the pulmonary stenosis, transannular patch was applied in B patients, infundibulectomy in 5, RVOT patch without transannular patch in 3, and isolated patches on RVOT and pulmonary trunk. Preoperative and early postoperative hemodynamic study revealed increased RA pressure in transannular patch group, which was significant statistically. [p<0.01]. Clinically, perioperative death occurred only in transannular patch group, and right heart failure signs including hepatomegaly, ascites, pleural effusion and peripheral edema were high in frequency in transannular patch group.

We have observed discitis developed after Intradiscal radiofrequency thermocoagulation in a patient with chronic discogenic low back pain. Recently, it is becoming more common that pain-managers perform disc-manipulation or, a nerve block after penetrating a disc, so postprocedural infection of disc can be a problem. To prevent discitis, very carefull attention must be given to ensure aseptic conditions during this procedure. However, if it occurs, it needs to be treated properly. In this case, a good result was obtained by treatment with absolute bed rest, pain management, and antibiotics.
