As there are needs to search the Web information via wire or wireless telephones, VoiceXML forum was established to develop and promote the Voice eXtensible Markup Language (VoiceXML). VoiceXML simplifies the creation of personalized interactive voice response services on the Web, and allows voice and phone access to information on Web sites, call center databases. Also, it can utilize the Web-based technologies, such as CGI(Common Gateway Interface) scripts. In this paper, we have developed the voice portal service platform based on VoiceXML called TeleGateway. It enables integration of voice services with data services using the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-To-Speech (TTS) engines. Also, we have showed the various services on voice portal services.

Powder metallurgy applied rapid heating to sintering starting year 1900. Since 1970 the study has intensified. Now rapid sintering concepts embrace a spectrum of options ranging from dunk cycles to microwave, induction, exothermic, electric field, and spark approaches. Most of the efforts are targeting reduced microstructure coarsening during sintering, although reduced material decomposition is another common goal. The efforts are impressive for simple shapes and success metrics such a small grain size after densification. Several barriers need to be removed prior to application in powder metallurgy commercial sintering. Rapid heating research needs to focus on significant property gains, accurate product dimensions, and lower costs. So far each property gain obtained with rapid heating is matched by traditional sintering and composition changes. Several examples are cited to show the goals for the next round of innovations.

Effective information gathering and retrieval of the most relevant web documents on the topic of interest is difficult due to the large amount of information that exists in various formats. Current information gathering and retrieval techniques are unable to exploit semantic knowledge within documents in the "big data" environment; therefore, they cannot provide precise answers to specific questions. Existing commercial big data analytic platforms are restricted to a single data type; moreover, different big data analytic platforms are effective at processing different data types. Therefore, the development of a common big data platform that is suitable for efficiently processing various data types is needed. Furthermore, users often possess more than one intelligent device. It is therefore important to find an efficient preference profile construction approach to record the user context and personalized applications. In this way, user needs can be tailored according to the user's dynamic interests by tracking all devices owned by the user.

스마트 모바일 기기의 보편화로 개인 위치 정보에 기반한 다양한 서비스가 가능해졌다. 또한 모바일 기기를 이용한 소셜 미디어 이용자수가 대폭 증가함에 따라 위치에 기반한 다양한 소셜 미디어 서비스에 대한 수요가 증대되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 위치에 기반한 소셜 미디어 데이터베이스에 표준 API를 사용한 접근과 결과의 분석으로 사용자가 필요로 하는 정보를 생성하고 실시간 모바일 서비스를 하기 위한 기술적 기법들에 대하여 소개하고 연구 결과를 보인다.

It is common for tall buildings in Korea to have a ground response that is highly sensitive to the behavior of the structure. Therefore, the geology of the ground needs to be carefully assessed and considered in the design process to accurately predict the performance of the foundation system. This paper sets out a systematic design approach and ground investigation methodology for the soil conditions frequently encountered in Korea. Various foundation design methods are introduced along with several case studies conducted in Korea.

The disaster preparedness system in Korea has been developed in spite of many obstacles, but there are still many problems for response to various kinds of disasters in 21th century. Disaster response system in Korea was focused on policy, administration, hardwares in the past. But in the future it is necessary to change the system to adapt the global needs about the human based disaster response system and capacity to assist the international disaster by official assistance and research for that field. Because nearly all the disasters are associated with the safety, welfare, injury, disability and survival of human, health disaster preparedness and response system should be a important part in the whole disaster system considering the common value of human right to disaster preparedness for human.

This paper investigates the characteristics and implementation of associate degree and advanced diploma in Australia, which belong to level 6 in AQF, to gain meaningful implications for engineering associate education in Korea. In Australian Qualification Framework and Engineers Australia's national generic competency standards are regarded as common benchmark for both qualifications. Training packages for advanced diploma were changed according to the subject/and national benchmark. and were developed to meet the needs of technical workers and para-professionals in the engineering field. The author recommends three suggestions from the findings - leadership of ABEEK for making benchmark for associate degree program in engineering in Korea, in which competency-based curriculum is currently being adopted by policy. development of outcomes descriptor of qualification and educational responsibilities.

Dynamic data possession verification is a common requirement in cloud storage systems. After the client outsources its data to the cloud, it needs to not only check the integrity of its data but also verify whether the update is executed correctly. Previous researches have proposed various schemes based on Merkle Hash Tree (MHT) and implemented some initial improvements to prevent the tree imbalance. This paper tries to take one step further: Is there still any problems remained for optimization? In this paper, we study how to raise the efficiency of data dynamics by improving the parts of query and rebalancing, using a new data structure called Rank-Based Merkle AVL Tree (RB-MAT). Furthermore, we fill the gap of verifying multiple update operations at the same time, which is the novel batch updating scheme. The experimental results show that our efficient scheme has better efficiency than those of existing methods.

In the last few years, banks have experienced more challenging market than any other times. They need to find new ways to reconnect with their customers and rebuild their trust. But in the race to the future some banks are taking clear lead. Research works show that while high perform leading banks are different, they also share some common characteristics and principles that have allowed them to move ahead to profitable growth. Cost cutting is no longer enough to succeed in tomorrow's world. Instead, the IT function needs to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the business to support the growth agenda. Therefore "C" level's attention is moving from cost reduction towards customer experience, speeding to market for new offerings, analytics and distribution channel enhancements, taking advantage of several levers that will shape the technology agenda for the high performing organization. Next generation of digital core-banking solutions will improve pre-existing capabilities, introduce new innovations and drive qualities such as flexibility and scalability to support time to market.

전자상거래가 활성화되고 사회 전반의 거의 모든 활동이 인터넷으로 가능해지면서 무한이 증가하는 정보의 가치를 경쟁력 있게 만들기 위해 기업에 종사하는 사람들이나 전자상거래의 구매자들은 강력한 검색도구를 필요로 한다. 최근 검색엔진의 성능이 급격히 좋아지고 있지만, 사용자가 완벽히 만족할 수 있는 결과를 제시하지는 못하는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 같은 서버의 같은 디렉토리 상에 존재하는 중복되는 결과로 내용의 정확성에 비해 검색 갯수가 많은 경우와 연결이 안되는 웹 페이지를 다량 포함한 경우에 대해 검색 결과를 공통 분모를 찾아 결과를 축약하는 방법과 블랙리스트를 구축하는 방법을 제안한다.
