환경 적응 전략으로서의 풍수지리 연구 (A Study on Korean Pungsu as an Adaptive Strategy)

  • 풍수지리의 기본 개념인 생기가 '연중 일정한 온도가 유지되며 상대 습도의 큰 변동 없이 통풍이 잘되고 일조량이 상당한 조건을 갖춘 곳의 쾌적성'이라고 한다면 이는 생리적으로 comfort한 기후조건을 갖춘 곳이 된다. Terjung은 신체적으로 comfort한 기후조건에 영향을 주는 요소로서 온도와 상대습도, 그리고 바람의 세기에 대하여 언급하고 comfort index, wind effect index를 개발하여 인간의 체감조건에 적용하였다. 따라서 풍수지리가 추구하는 '생기가 넘치는 곳'이 '보다 편안한 장소(more comfortable place)'가 되면 풍수지리는 과학적인 분야로 자리매김할 수 있게 된다. 미국 코넥티컷주에서도 풍수의 기본형에 부합되는 장소로서 Hampton 시의 North Cemetry가 발견되어 한국 뿐 아니라 세계의 다른 어떤 지역에도 풍수가 적용될 수 있다. 한국이건 미국이건 풍수지리적으로 선정된 이른바 쾌적한 곳의 온도, 상대습도, 바람의 세기와 방향 등의 기후 자료가 있다면 Terjung의 견해와 더불어 특정 장소의 편안함이 밝혀질 수 있다. 이것은 같은 기후 지역 내에서 두 장소에 대한 서로 비교하는 자료가 요청되며 풍수지리는 특정 기후 조건 아래에서 보다 comfort한 곳을 찾는 인간의 적응 전략으로 자리매김하기에 충분하다.

A Study on the Suggestion of Thermal Comfort Range in Radiant Floor Ondol Heating System

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of thermal comfort index and to present the thermal comfort range through regression analyses and experiment in a radiant floor heating system laboratory. The results were compared to the comfort zone of ISO-7730, and the applicability of the thermal comfort index to a radiant floor heating system was studied. On comparing the sedentary posture on the floor to sitting on the chair, the comfort zone and the neutral point of comfort index showed different values. It is considered that the influence of conduction from floor to the human is sufficient. Moreover, we could find a correlation between the thermal sensation votes of subjects, and the comfort indexes were lower than those by calculation.

  • In these days, customers require high-quality, high-performance, high-ride comfort for Automobile and then the automotive manufacturers concentrated on study of electrical, high-performance, low-cost of parts and sub-parts. In this paper, for ride comfort estimation PSD(Power Spectral Density) of acceleration at eight test point are measured, and then are calculated with new index of ride comfort. The new index of ride comfort developed for optimal design, real test, applied the actual. It can apply for various fields.

설계변수의 산포를 고려한 차량 승차감의 강건최적설계 (Robust Design Optimization of the Vehicle Ride Comfort Considering Variation of the Design Parameters)

  • Vehicle vibration mostly originates from the road excitation and causes discomfort, fatigue and even injury to a driver. Vehicle ride comfort is one of the most important performance indices to achieve a high-quality vehicle design. Since design parameter variations inevitably result in the vehicle ride comfort variance, the variance characteristics should be analyzed in the early design stage of the vehicle. The vehicle ride comfort is often defined by an index which employs a weighted RMS value of the acceleration PSD of a seat position. The design solution is obtained through two steps in this study. An optimization problem to obtain a minimum ride comfort index is solved first. Then another optimization problem to obtain minimum variance of the ride comfort index is solved. For the optimization problems, the equations of motion and the sensitivity equations are derived basing on a 5-DOF vehicle model. The numerical results show that an optimal solution for the minimum ride comfort is not necessarily same as that of the minimum variance of the ride comfort.

급기구 형상에 따른 겨울철 실내 온열환경의 비교 (Comparison of Indoor Thermal Environments in Winter depending on Supply Vent Configurations)

  • This study considers indoor thermal comfort in an ondol space by supply vent configurations to prevent cold draft in winter. A specially-designed vent cap has been investigated in comparison with a round pan-type vent and a simple opening without a cap. Numerical simulations have been conducted using CFD to analyze thermal comfort indices such as Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) and Effective Draft Temperature (EDT) as well as air distribution index i.e. Air Diffusion Performance Index (ADPI). Results show the new vent cap provides improved thermal comfort conditions especially near ondol heated floor, as the cold outdoor air spreads upwards along the vertical wall before reaching occupant region near floor. This paper includes discussions on the flow and comfort distributions created by the thermal jets from the vents.

  • 최근 실내 환경에서 온도, 습도 등과 같은 현상 데이터를 수집하여 제공하는 실내 상황 정보에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 빌딩에서 불쾌한 상황이 증가하고, 환경 변화에 대한 인식 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현상 데이터를 대신하여 실시간 실내 쾌적 상황 정보를 제공하기 위해 GIS 기반의 실내 쾌적 지수 및 상황 산출 엔진을 설계하고 구현한다. 이를 통해 자신의 실내 쾌적 상황을 자가 진단하고, 이를 사용자에게 알려주어 실내 환경을 관리할 수 있다.

  • This objective of this paper is to investigate the evaluation and indiction of human thermal comfort in building environment. The issue of defining the boundaries of acceptable thermal comfort conditions in buildings and urban may have significant implication for building design and also may have urban design by climate considerations. And then it is to apply the thermal comfort condition to environmental design by using passive methods in Korea. Since 1920. architects have conducted studies to measure thermal comfort in houses under hot and humid conditions, while industrial hygienists have studied the effects of temperature and humidity on the performance of factory workers. Thermal comfort can be influenced by many variables. This paper conducted to review the previous researches and the human heat balance equation, and to analyse in order to reveal the meaning and usage of the thermal comfort index in two traditional essays, Fanger's PMV and Gagge's ET* Their comfort indexes compared with each other. They were based on human heat balance equation and psychological and physiological responses in the laboratory tests. The researchers and the architectural engineers using thermal comfort index shall be careful in decided the use of indexes and be necessary to recognize the value concept of the design criteria for thermal comfort. Therefore, The opinion of the authors is that different comfort standards have to apply for each building and urban with different climatic conditions.

온도, 습도, 기류를 이용한 하절기 VRF 시스템의 쾌적 제어 알고리즘 개발 (Development of Comfort Control Logic for VRF System in Summer Season by using 3 Environment Factors(Temperature, Humidity and Air flow))

  • This paper investigates the simplified comfort index and control logic for VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system by using 3 environmental factors such as temperature, humidity and air flow. Indoor test under thermal load was conducted to explore relationship of each environment factors that is related to simplified comfort index. Simplified comfort function that has 3 environmental variables was proposed based on survey results. Each factor is measured and comfort preference was surveyed by more than 30 subjects in the indoor comfort test. Moreover, control logic for VRF system was developed and then simulated by using thermal load calculation method and verified with test. The proposed comfort function was in good agreement with survey results, and also verification test trend of comfort change and maintenance are quite similar with survey. Furthermore, through the additional test data analysis some differences of comfort according to position of people staying in the test room were additionally investigated by air flow. People being under an exit of air in the indoor air-conditioner feel more comfortable condition and speed of response to comfort change is relatively fast.

철도차량의 속도향상시 진동 승차감에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Vibration Ride Comfort of a Railway train to increase the Service Speed)

  • To provide faster service and to relief the road traffic jam, the increase of service speed of conventional railway has been intensively considered. In this study, we measured and analyzed the vibration ride comfort of Saemaeul Train to evaluate the feasibility of 5km/h speed-up in curves and l0km/h speed-up on straight tracks. Four main lines, such as Honam, Kyungboo, ]anghang, Kyungjeon were chosen as representative lines for speed-up feasibility study. The increase of mean ride comfort index in case of speed-up is 0.5-2㏈. The mean ride comfort index of vertical direction in case of speed-up is 107 ∼110 ㏈ for Honam line, 104 ∼112 ㏈ for Kyungboo line, 108∼112 ㏈ for Janghang line and 105∼108 ㏈ for Kyungjeon line. Through this study, we found that the Saemaul Express has slight margin to increase the service speed from the view point of vibration ride comfort.

시운전 시험을 통한 한국형 고속전철에 대한 승차감의 분석 (Analysis of Ride Comfort for Korean High Speed Train through On-line Test)

  • Recently, the ride comfort problem becomes increasingly important because of today's needs for train speedup. The concept of ride comfort is equivocal. Generally, it is defined as the body vibration. The prototype of Korean high speed train (KHST), composed of two power cars, two motorized cars and three trailer cars, has been designed, fabricated and tested by the domestic researchers. In this paper, the ride comfort has been reviewed by the experimental method. The on-line test of KHST has been carried out up to 260km/h in the KTX line and proved that KHST has no problems from the viewpoint of the comfort ride at this speed. And the ride index lot KHST has been predicted at 300km/h and 350km/h by fitting curve.
