  • Conventional traffic network in the urban city has been constructed and operated under systems to collect and transmit based on the roadside AP(Acess Point). But This paper has investigated the new traffic network based on smart station which combined the power network. Futhermore, the smart station can collect and transmit the variable informations and functions that supply the vehicle moving lines, informative collector service and center interoperation etc.

  • In this paper, the primitive and double combined motion classification of the arm is discussed using pattern recognition of EM signal. The EM signals are detected from Ag-Ag/Cl surface electrodes, and IBM PC, calculated the Likelyhood probability and the decision function on the feature space of integral absolute value. Multiclass decision rule is introduced for higher decision rate. On our experimental results from expert simulator, the decision rate of more than 78% can be obtained.

  • An FTCS is developed for the purpose of improving the reliability of a process control system. The proposed FTCS has capabilities of failure detection, back-up control, graphic display, and self-checking. Also the FTCS is combined with the process simulator to experiment in laboratory for the evaluation of performance of operation. The FTCS is applied to Thermal Power Plant .

  • In this paper, constraint aggregation is combined with the adjoint and multiple shooting strategies for optimal control of differential algebraic equations (DAE) systems. The approach retains the inherent parallelism of the conventional multiple shooting method, while also being much more efficient for large scale problems. Constraint aggregation is employed to reduce the number of nonlinear continuity constraints in each multiple shooting interval, and its derivatives are computed by the adjoint DAE solver DASPKADJOINT together with ADIFOR and TAMC, the automatic differentiation software for forward and reverse mode, respectively. Numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach.

  • The developments on desulfurization have been focused on the application to the advanced power generation systems such as integrated gasification-combined cycle (lGCC) and the gasification-molten carbonate fuel ceil (MCFC).   • The purpose of this study is to develop a new domestic (national) law classification scheme with universality. An underlying reason for the development of this scheme reset upon the fact that Civil law system, Common law system, Socialistic law system have had difficulties each other and that current classification scheme covering three law systems have not been still in existence. From the comparative discussion of classification schemes that are the representative of each law system, a new national law classification scheme with universality was designed. If law classification scheme have been completeness, this new scheme must be combined with jurisprudence and international law classification scheme which was developed already.

  • In this paper, we propose a hybrid d-step predictor which is composed of an adaptive predictor and a Kalman predictor. We prove the performance limit of the proposed predictor. Simulation is conducted to examine the performance of the proposed predictor. Simulation results show that the proposed combined predictor is superior to the adaptive predictor and the Kalman predictor. Proposed predictor is used for prediction of gun tip vibration of k1 tank. The result is compared with that of conventional adaptive predictor.

  • As a method to control the bacteria number in adequate level, a real time control system based on microscope image processing measurement for the bacteria is adopted. For the experiment, Ammonia-oxidizing bacteria such as Acinetobacter sp. are used. This paper proposed hybrid method combined watershed algorithm with adaptive automatic thresholding method to enhance segmentation efficiency of overlapped image. Experiments was done to show the effectiveness of the proposed method compared to traditional Otsu's method, Otsu's method with adaptive automatic thresholding method and human visual method.

  • Impedance imaging for binary mixture is a kind of nonlinear inverse problem, which is usually solved iteratively by the Newton-Raphson method. Then, the ill-posedness of Hessian matrix often requires the use of a regularization method to stabilize the solution. In this study, the Levenberg-Marquredt regularization method is introduced for the binary-mixture system with various resistivity contrasts (1:2∼1:1000). Several mixture distribution are tested and the results show that the Newton-Raphson iteration combined with the Levenberg-Marquardt regularization can reconstruct reasonably good images.
