다수의 영상에 대한 스크램블 및 디스크램블 방법 (Scramble and Descramble Scheme on Multiple Images)

  • 본 논문에서는 다수의 비디오(video) 채널로부터 영상을 스크램블 및 디스크램블 하는 방법을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 다수의 영상 혼합과 이어 붙여진 영상의 화소 좌표의 뒤섞기를 이용한 암호화 방법이다. 조합된 프레임의 수직라인과 수평라인의 영상정보를 암호화 및 복호화 함으로서 암호화된 복합 영상을 얻는다. 이 알고리즘은 다수의 비디오 채널에서 모아진 다수의 영상을 하나의 영상으로 재구성하여 영상을 암호화함으로써 한 번에 다수의 영상 암호화하고 높은 보안성을 제공한다.

하이브리드 기법을 이용한 영상 식별 연구 (A Study on Image Classification using Hybrid Method)

  • 영상 식별 기술은 대용량의 멀티미디어 데이터베이스 환경 하에서 고속의 검색을 위해서 필수적이다. 본 논문은 이러한 고속 검색을 위하여 GA(Genetic Algorithm)과 SVM(Support Vector Machine)을 결합한 모델을 제안한다. 특징벡터로는 색상 정보와 질감 정보를 사용하였다. 이렇게 추출된 특징벡터의 집합을 제안한 모델을 통해 최적의 유효 특징벡터의 집합를 찾아 영상을 식별하여 정확도를 높였다. 성능평가는 색상, 질감. 색상과 질감의 연합 특징벡터를 각각 사용한 성능 비교. SYM과 제안된 알고리즘과의 성능을 비교하였다. 실험 결과 색상과 질감을 연합한 특징벡터를 사용한 것이 단일 특징벡터를 사용한 것 보다 좋은 결과를 보였으며 하이브리드 기법을 이용한 제안된 알고리즘이 SVM알고리즘만을 이용한 것 보다 좋은 결과를 보였다.

Combined Economic and Emission Dispatch with Valve-point loading of Thermal Generators using Modified NSGA-II

  • This paper discusses the application of evolutionary multi-objective optimization algorithms namely Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-II (NSGA-II) and Modified NSGA-II (MNSGA-II) for solving the Combined Economic Emission Dispatch (CEED) problem with valve-point loading. The valve-point loading introduce ripples in the input-output characteristics of generating units and make the CEED problem as a non-smooth optimization problem. IEEE 57-bus and IEEE 118-bus systems are taken to validate its effectiveness of NSGA-II and MNSGA-II. To compare the Pareto-front obtained using NSGA-II and MNSGA-II, reference Pareto-front is generated using multiple runs of Real Coded Genetic Algorithm (RCGA) with weighted sum of objectives. Furthermore, three different performance metrics such as convergence, diversity and Inverted Generational Distance (IGD) are calculated for evaluating the closeness of obtained Pareto-fronts. Numerical results reveal that MNSGA-II algorithm performs better than NSGA-II algorithm to solve the CEED problem effectively.

Analysis of Database Referenced Navigation by the Combination of Heterogeneous Geophysical Data and Algorithms

  • In this study, an EKF (Extended Kalman Filter) based database reference navigation using both gravity gradient and terrain data was performed to complement the weakness of using only one type of geophysical DB (Database). Furthermore, a new algorithm which combines the EKF and profile matching was developed to improve the stability and accuracy of the positioning. On the basis of simulations, it was found that the overall navigation performance was improved by the combination of geophysical DBs except the two trajectories in which the divergence of TRN (Terrain Referenced Navigation) occurred. To solve the divergence problem, the profile matching algorithm using the terrain data is combined with the EKF. The results show that all trajectories generate the stable performance with positioning error ranges between 14m to 23m although not all trajectories positioning accuracy is improved. The average positioning error from the combined algorithm for all nine trajectories is about 18 m. For further study, a development of a switching geophysical DB or algorithm between the EKF and the profile matching to improve the navigation performance is suggested.

솔더 페이스트 자동검사를 위한 2-D/3-D 복합 알고리즘 (2-D/3-D Combined Algorithm for Automatic Solder Paste Inspection)

  • In this paper, we present the combined 2-D and 3-D algorithms for automatic solder paste inspection. For automatic inspection, optical system for the combined inspection and driving unit is made. One-pass run length algorithm that has fast and efficient memory space is applied to the input image fur extracting solder paste patterns. The path of probe movement is then calculated for an automatic inspection. For a fast 3-D inspection, the phase shift algorithm based on Moire interferometry is also used. In addition, algorithms used in this paper are coded by $MMX^{TM}$. A probe system is manufactured to simultaneously inspect 2-D and 3-D for 10mm$\times$10mm field of view, with resolutions of 10 $\mu\textrm{m}$for both x, y axis and 17 $\mu\textrm{m}$for z axis, and then, experiments on several PCBs are conducted. The processing times of 2-D and 3-D, excluding an image capturing, is 0.039 sec and 0.047 sec, respectively. The credible result with $\pm$ 1$\mu\textrm{m}$uncertainty can be also achieved.

  • An immune system has powerful abilities such as memory, recognition and learning to respond to invading antigens, and is applied to many engineering algorithm recently. In this paper, the combined optimization algorithm is proposed for multi-optimization problem by introducing the capability of the immune system that controls the proliferation of clones to the genetic algorithm. The optimizing ability of the proposed optimization algorithm is identified by using two multi-peak functions which have many local optimums and optimization of the unbalance response function for rotor model.

  • An accurate digital distance relaying algorithm which is immune to the combined reactance effect of the fault resistance and the load current is proposed. The algorithm can estimate adaptively the impedance to a fault point independent of the fault resistance. To compensate the apparent impedance, this algorithm uses iteratively the angle of an impedance deviation vector improved step by step. The impedance correction algorithm for ground faults uses a current distribution factor to compensate mutual coupling effect.

  • In this study, the motion compensating interpolation algorithm is presented. The presented algorithm allows the unblutted reconstruction of omitted frames. It is shown that the Walker & Rao's estimation algorithm using modified displaced frame difference combined with rectangulat adaptive measurement window increases the reliability of the estimation results. The remark ably improved image quality is achieved by change detection and segmentation.

회귀예측 신경모델과 카오스 신경회로망을 결합한 고립 숫자음 인식 (Isolated Digit Recognition Combined with Recurrent Neural Prediction Models and Chaotic Neural Networks)

  • 본 논문은 서러 다른 접근방식을 사용하는 카오스 회귀 신경예측모델과 다층 신경회로망이 결합하여 고립음의 인식률을 높이고자 하였다. 전반적으로 다층신경회로망은 MLP와 결합한 인식률은 1.2%에서 2.5% 이상이 개선 되었다. 이는 서로 인식하는 방법이 다르기 때문에 서로 상호 보완되고, 카오스의 다이내믹 성질이 인식률을 개선시켰음을 실험으로 밝혔다. MLP와 결합한 인식률은 카오스 다층신경망일 때가 가장 좋았다. 그러나 학습시 알고리즘이 단순하고, 신뢰도 면에서는 오히려 카오스 단층 신경망이 인식률은 0.5%정도 떨어지지만 더욱 좋다고 생각된다. 주로 MLP는 숫자음 “일”과 “오”에서 우수한 성적을 나타내었고, 카오스 예측 신경망은 숫자음 “영”, “삼”, “칠”에서 우수하였다.

교통분포, 수단선택 및 교통할당의 결합모형 (A Combined Model of Trip Distribution, Mode Choice and Traffic Assignment)

  • In this paper, we propose a parametric optimization approach to simultaneously determining trip distribution, mode choice, and user-equilibrium assignment. In our model, mode choice decisions are based on a binomial logit model and passenger and cargo demands are divided into appropriate mode according to the user equilibrium minimum travel time. Underlying network consists of road and rail networks combined and mode choice available is auto, bus, truck, passenger rail, and cargo rail. We provide an equivalent convex optimization problem formulation and efficient algorithm for solving this problem. The proposed algorithm was applied to a large scale network examples derived from the National Intermodal Transportation Plan (2000-2019).
